Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:

The spirits of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, having undergone purification, Awakening, and the process of realising their true nature and attaining Buddhahood,

are already selfless and without ego. Within their hearts, there is not the slightest trace of ego and stubborn "self,"

nor any delusions, discriminations, or attachments.

No illusory appearances or demonic disturbances can affect their vows and actions to save beings.

Their practice of teaching, resolving the suffering of beings, and guiding them to leave suffering behind never ceases.

Ordinary people who have not realised their true nature see the toil of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in saving beings and mistake it for suffering and exhaustion.

In reality, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas take the responsibility of saving, teaching, and resolving the suffering of beings as their own.

Even if their bodies endure hardship and fatigue, their hearts are solely focused on the suffering that awaits salvation, with not a single thought for themselves.

Therefore, their footsteps in saving beings do not cease due to physical hardship or fatigue; they continue straight ahead.

This is the preciousness of beings encountering Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the world—

to be able to receive salvation, draw near to learn, and achieve success,

it is also the supreme grace of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, who compassionately save beings.

If they see the suffering of beings and assist them in resolving it, but the beings are unable to accept it,

Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can observe the causes; for those whose Dharma affinity is not yet mature, they will follow the situation and remain silent or depart.

Therefore, acting proactively while saving beings according to conditions is the heart and action of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in saving beings.

Namo Amituofo gives lectures in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss without ceasing,

the sound of the teaching is uninterrupted, and it has been ten kalpas until now.

This is the method by which Namo Amituofo helps the beings of the Western Land to realise their true nature and attain Buddhahood early in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

At this time, Namo Amituofo abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia.

Here, one can receive the teachings of Namo Amituofo,

which is one of the methods Namo Amituofo uses to save beings in the worldly realm,

and there are also teachings from the Teacher.

The Buddha’s words and the Teacher’s words are explained by Practitioner Su, helping listeners understand their meaning.

This situation has never occurred before, as there have never been the Buddha’s words and the Teacher’s words appearing in the world,

and it is Namo Amituofo, through these narrations,

teaching the masses the shortcut and method to achieve success in Pure Land practice; this is a rare and precious time.

May all beings have the opportunity to hear and accept these teachings, and to believe and practise them,

so that they will obtain magnificent benefits of the Dharma.

Namo Amituofo
