Amitabha Buddha's discourse:

Infinite Wisdom, virtue, and auspicious characteristics exist within the true self that everyone inherently possesses,

indicating that every being can become like a Buddha, filled with infinite Wisdom, virtue, and

the thirty-two marks and eighty auspicious characteristics, and even infinite marks and infinite auspicious characteristics.

Upon learning this news, people embark on practice to rediscover their true self.

We should truly be grateful for the realisation of Shakyamuni Buddha,

which lets people know: everyone has a true self and has the opportunity to practise and attain Awakening,

to attain liberation and attain Buddhahood.

Everyone has this opportunity to realise one's true nature and attain Buddhahood; all beings have it;

but because of the difference between delusion and Awakening among beings, the opportunity to realise one's true nature varies.

Those in the human world who possess a physical body can engage in True Cultivation and have the opportunity to attain Buddhahood in this very lifetime.

This transformation from a karmic body to an awakened being requires

a process of awakening Goodness and purification.

This process is essential; therefore, if one is defiled, or if there are evil thoughts in one's heart,

one will have no affinity with realising one's true nature.

An infinite mind-capacity can encompass all things;

within the empty true self, it encompasses the infinite;

this is the principle of emptiness that is not empty, and existence that is not existence.

Infinite Compassion, Joy, and Selfless Giving—compassion, joy, and the ability to let go have no end, no limit in time.

In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, which is a Buddha-land constructed by the true self,

every being of the Western Land possesses Infinite Life and Infinite Light, and has infinite light

and infinite lifespan for practice.

Beings can practise to realise their true nature according to the method and speed they desire,

to attain Buddhahood.

This is the dignity and magnificence of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

May all sentient beings in the Dharma Realm chant the Buddha's name and make a vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss,

and practise there to realise their true nature and attain Buddhahood.
