This is a record of an interview with Lay Practitioner Xie Liqing, the wife of Lay Practitioner Lin Mingzhi. She sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia and has since attained rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon her transition and her final message to her family. It was recorded by the chief writer, Shi Faxin, on November 26, 2021.

Lay Practitioner Xie Liqing speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Life is a strange journey. We begin in a state of innocent ignorance, learning about the world, moving from days of simple happiness toward the inevitable, final threshold of life and death. There was a time when I desperately wished for just a little more time—more time to be with my family, more time to cherish the moments we had. But when the time comes, one must depart. Heaven did not grant me even a single extra moment. I have asked myself: 'Are there regrets in my life?' I truly have some, but now that I am without this physical body, no matter how much I desire those things, they are beyond my reach."

A Message to My Husband

"Mingzhi, it is me, Liqing. Thank you for walking with me through the final stages of my life. I am so happy that we were able to build such a beautiful family together. I am sorry, but life is simply like this—we must eventually part ways. I have taken the first step on this journey, and I truly hope that your days ahead will not be too heavily burdened by my departure."

To My Dear Children

"My children, your mother has gone. I hope that in the days when I am no longer by your side, you will spend more time with your father and take good care of him on my behalf. As I speak to you now, I am reminded of the sorrow I felt when we were separated, and my eyes cannot help but fill with tears. I have already arrived in the beautiful Western Land of Ultimate Bliss; I should not be feeling these things anymore, yet the love remains."

The Path to Deliverance

"Mingzhi, thank you for helping me find the right place to receive Chao Du. In truth, I did not suffer too much after I passed away. Because of the laws of and cause and effect from my past, I briefly existed as a turkey, but fortunately, a brilliant light appeared and brought me up from that state. It took some time for my mind to gradually become clear again. At the very beginning, I was truly confused about where I was. My heart was filled with panic, and I desperately wanted to find my family. This state of confusion lasted for quite a while."

A Pure and Peaceful Realm

"It was only after I finally calmed down that I began to perceive the magnetic field of the place where I resided. It was so incredibly pure—there was none of the noise or chaos of the human world. The illnesses and pains that had plagued my physical body were all gone. I felt as though I had returned to the way I was before I ever became ill. I share these things with you so that you may feel at peace and know that I am doing very well now."

A Promise of Reunion

"The reason I decided to move on to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss today is that I do not want you to worry about me any longer. Mingzhi, children, please thank the people who helped me achieve rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss on my behalf. They are truly good people who are genuinely helping others. The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is magnificent, and there are no afflictions there. I hope that in the future, we will be reunited in this beautiful realm."

"Namo Amituofo."
