A Final Message from Chu Ke-liang
The Third Letter of the Late Entertainer Chu Ke-liang
Recorded by Chief Writer Shi Faxin on June 22, 2017
This testimony was recorded on June 22, 2017, by Chief Writer Shi Faxin. The late Taiwanese entertainer Chu Ke-liang, having sought deliverance after his passing, now resides at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. In this heartfelt letter, he reaches out to his wife, Ye Rui-mei, to express his profound regrets and share the truth of his current state.
Chu Ke-liang speaks:
"My dear wife, Ye Rui-mei! People always have to part ways eventually, but this time, our separation is one between the living and the dead. I have been watching you, and seeing you cry so bitterly breaks my heart; I truly cannot bear it. I want to say I am sorry. Marrying me caused you to suffer so many grievances. You endured my womanising and my gambling addiction. To help me pay off my gambling debts, you set up street stalls to do business, and you even followed me as I hid from creditors, living a life of constant fear and anxiety. You worked so hard to raise our children. I do not even know how to express my gratitude to you.
Reflections on a Life of Regret
I once told you that I would marry you again in the next life. Your response was that you did not want to, because this life was simply too difficult. And you are right! To my family, I was an irresponsible man. Regarding my daughter's lack of understanding, I will not say much. Everyone has been arguing and reporting on who did or did not attend my funeral. They are even debating whether my spirit returned home. Let me state this clearly to everyone here: I did not go back. My spirit is currently at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia.
The Truth Behind the Headlines
In truth, I have sent many letters to the reporters to tell them this, but no one wants to believe that these are my own words. My dear wife, you do not need to be sad. I have not truly died; my spirit is here. You can bring the children to come and speak with me. Let me tell you, the people here are very simple and sincere. They are all here in seclusion, focusing on their practice, and they were kind enough to save me from the hells.
A Path Toward Eternal Life
Every day here, I see Namo Amituofo. Namo Amituofo is now here to save people, to tell the world that human beings can be free from sickness, free from ageing, and free from death. Just like me—I can already be considered as someone who has not died. In the future, I will go to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. In that place, the concept of death simply does not exist. I hope the media can believe this and help me deliver this letter to my wife, Ye Rui-mei. Let her be the one to choose whether to believe it or not. I am deeply grateful to you. Please, I beg of you, please help me."
