This is a record of a message from the late Venerable Master Chin Kung, who now resides in the at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. This letter was transcribed by the disciple Venerable HaiZe on November 13, 2022.

Venerable Master Chin Kung speaks:

"Lay Practitioner Qi, Namo Amituofo.

I am Venerable Master Chin Kung. It is truly unexpected to be contacting you in this manner, isn't it? I am currently in the state of a spirit, residing in the Western -Nature Land at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. Through the reception of the temple's monastics, I am writing down my thoughts to send to you. For you to receive such a letter, and for me—no longer in the human world—to send it, is truly inconceivable. You must feel the same, do you not?

The Unexpected Journey

Everyone assumed I had surely reached the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. They never imagined that at the moment of my passing, my mind went blank, the chanting of the Buddha-name was interrupted, and I fell into the hells. It was only through the compassionate rescue of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su that I was saved from the hells and brought to the Western Dharma-Nature Land of this temple. It has been over three months now; this place is like the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, a world of difference from the hells. In fact, I have mentioned these events in over forty interviews conducted at the temple, each one spoken by me.

A Misunderstanding of Great Consequence

I begin this letter with these facts to clarify my current situation. These changes are hard to believe, but I trust that you, Lay Practitioner Qi, are a person of clear vision and will believe that these words come from me. I had one great regret during my lifetime: I excluded Practitioner Su from the Pure Land system. The many events that occurred were simply beyond the capacity of an ordinary person. Now, seeing what I see from the Dharma-Nature Land, I realise that these are the natural abilities of an awakened being, not something achieved through external forces.

The Presence of Namo Amituofo

Furthermore, Namo Amituofo has descended to the world and has been abiding at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre for many years. With the vow and capacity of an awakened being, Practitioner Su works alongside Namo Amituofo to save the world and deliver beings. She performs healings, resolves conflicts, and invites spirits, having already delivered immeasurable and boundless beings to the West. This is a rare occurrence, something I had never heard of before, yet what I see now is the absolute truth. I truly misunderstood Practitioner Su.

The Reality of Spiritual Obstacles

As a spirit, I can now see the reality of the spiritual realms. I have discovered that while many people chant the Buddha-name, very few are reborn in the West. This is because the karmic knots between the practitioners and their remain unresolved. They are disturbed by attached spirits, and at the time of death, their spiritual obstacles manifest, blocking their chanting and making rebirth impossible. Even after the temple's monastics perform , it remains difficult to send the deceased to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, through listening to the sutras, hearing the Dharma, and inviting spirits to resolve these conflicts, karmic creditors and attached spirits can be delivered to the West. Because the Dharma assembly is led by Namo Amituofo Himself, the deceased can truly be sent to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I convey this to you in this manner, though it may seem hurried and perhaps lacking in decorum, but it is the only way I can act at this moment.

A Call to Action

To let more people know that Namo Amituofo has descended to save the world, I hope you will come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to draw near, hear the Dharma, and help beings reach the West. I have repeatedly urged the associations and academies to come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. My spirit is here, which can serve as proof that the spirit never dies; it is only the physical body that passes away. Although sarira and sarira flowers were produced after my cremation—a testament to my sixty years of lecturing on the Dharma in the world—this does not mean I did not make mistakes. Merit and demerit do not cancel each other out. Because I did not tell the world during my lifetime about Namo Amituofo’s presence at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, I blocked the opportunity for many to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and for practitioners to seek the great Dharma of . Furthermore, by excluding Practitioner Su from the Pure Land system, I failed to recognise her as an awakened being and allowed her to be slandered. These two matters were the primary reasons for my descent into the hells.

A Rare Opportunity

Lay Practitioner Qi, I tell you these things in the hope that you will understand the truth. This is an opportunity that is difficult to encounter even in millions of years. Although I have not yet received a positive response from the associations and academies, if you can believe this, or perhaps come to the temple yourself, you will know that my words are not empty. You will be able to verify that Namo Amituofo is at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, and then my efforts will have been worthwhile! With your reputation and the trust the public has in you, you will surely be able to save countless beings and help fellow practitioners fulfil their wish to be reborn in the West. You can also help practitioners come to seek the Dharma, providing them with a golden opportunity to realise their true nature. If you can do this, the merit will be immeasurable! Namo Amituofo."
