A Message from Beyond the Veil

Nini, my dear daughter, I hope that you are able to receive these words from me. It is August 15, 2018. I am Hu Dongqing, the son-in-law of Huang Shao-gu and the father of Hu Nini. Many years ago, I was rescued from the depths of hell by the one known then as Practitioner Su—now revered as Practitioner Su—and was guided to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Life here is beyond anything the human world could ever offer; the worldly prosperity, fame, and wealth you see in the human realm cannot even begin to compare to the peace I experience now. Here, there is complete relaxation, a profound sense of coolness, and absolute freedom. My father-in-law, your mother, and your uncle were also rescued by Practitioner Su and brought to this Western Land. We each have our own interests and joys, and this world fulfills every one of them. It is a world of happiness and beauty, a place where every wish is granted. I am deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo for creating this magnificent world. I am even more grateful to Practitioner Su; it is only because of our connection to you, my daughter, that we had the opportunity to be saved. Otherwise, your father would still be suffering in the agonies of hell today.

The Peace of the Western Pure Land

We have often wished to let you know of our situation, but our messages seemed to vanish like stones cast into the sea. I do not blame you, for I know that in the human world, even the most virtuous endeavours are often met with countless obstacles. However, our hearts feel a deep sense of indebtedness toward Practitioner Su. Why must someone who truly possesses the attainment to guide the deceased into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss be subjected to such misunderstanding and slander? We, who no longer possess physical bodies but whose spirits remain, feel the injustice of this deeply. We cry out for him! Yet, Practitioner Su continues to walk this path of saving suffering beings with unwavering determination and strength. This power and this achievement are truly worthy of our deepest admiration. We watch from the Western Pure Land, but we cannot intervene directly in your world. We can only share our true feelings at this moment.

Standing by the Truth

In the human world, the ability of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to connect with spirits in the Western Pure Land and receive messages may seem impossible or unbelievable to outsiders. However, here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, this is a common and natural occurrence. Nini, based on your own understanding of Practitioner Su, I believe you should choose to believe. You, at the very least, should not be one of those who dismiss it as impossible. Practitioner Su remains the same person you have always known: a sincere individual who treats others with kindness, seeks no reward, and is single-mindedly dedicated to spreading the Pure Land teachings and performing Chao Du to help beings be reborn in the Western Pure Land.

A Father’s Heartfelt Plea

Nini, human life is limited in its duration. Today, as I look upon you, I see that your health is not good, and my heart is filled with worry. As you walk this path toward the West, do you have confidence in your own rebirth in the Western Pure Land? We are all here in the West, and we see things very clearly. Practitioner Su truly has the ability to heal people, and he truly has the ability to guide people to rebirth in the Western Pure Land. Please, believe your father. If you were to join and participate in the Mituo Village at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, and if you were to contribute to the construction of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, it would finally bring a sense of completion to one of your father's deepest wishes. Nini, I hope that you are able to receive these words.
