A Message from Venerable Master Chin Kung: The Truth of Hsiang Kuang

This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Venerable Master Chin Kung, who now resides in the Western Dharma-Nature Land of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. This message was recorded by the chief writer, Venerable HaiZe, on August 7, 2022. Practitioner Su felt the powerful energy of the Master's spirit as he sought to communicate.

Venerable Master Chin Kung speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Chin Kung. Although my physical body has long since perished, the spirit never dies. I am currently sitting peacefully upon a lotus seat in the Western Dharma-Nature Land of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This lotus seat is soft, radiant, and emits a faint, sweet fragrance, much like being in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss itself. While this is not the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, it is a piece of the Western Dharma-Nature Land gifted by Namo Amituofo to Practitioner Su—an awakened being. It is a place where deceased spirits and those undergoing spiritual deliverance can be settled, listen to the sutras, hear the Dharma, and observe the overall affairs of the temple. As I say this, I know many of you will be skeptical. Is that not so? In the world of spirits, and on this land that leads to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, there is so much that is beyond the comprehension of ordinary practitioners in the human world. I do not blame you for your doubt; was I not exactly the same when I was alive? It was only after I passed away and arrived here that I truly saw the reality of the truth."

A Regretful Decision and a Sincere Plea

"As a spirit without a body, every word I speak now is offered with the hope that those who believe will find blessings. For those who do not, I do not take offense. I do not wish to add any more burdens to your hearts. During my lifetime, I made a grave error in judgment regarding Practitioner Su. I refused to allow any contact between her and the Pure Land systems, the Pure Land Learning College, or the Pure Land societies. This was a mistake I failed to rectify before my passing. I only hope that you can receive these words of mine with sincerity. This is my greatest obstacle now, and I truly hope you will listen to me and lift the restrictions you have placed upon Practitioner Su."

The Presence of Namo Amituofo

"Namo Amituofo is truly, undeniably present at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This is the reality I witness from the Western Dharma-Nature Land. The majestic golden light of Namo Amituofo illuminates the entire temple and the surrounding land. This Buddha-light even shines into the space of the Western Dharma-Nature Land, allowing the infinite, boundless beings here—myself included—to extinguish our defilements and cultivate goodness. It is only through this cleansing of dust and grime that I can speak these words with a calm and settled heart."

The Manifestations of Practitioner Su

"There is something else I must share. From the Dharma-Nature Land, I have witnessed the countless manifestations of Practitioner Su! This is a reality, a truth that occurs in the spiritual space invisible to the physical eyes of humans, yet it is seen with absolute clarity here in the spiritual realm of the Dharma-Nature Land. Who would believe that Practitioner Su is capable of such countless manifestations? Yet, I must speak of it; to remain silent would be to fail Namo Amituofo. Practitioner Su’s Dharma-Body Visualisation Deliverance is truly being performed every single day, during every Thrice Yearning Ceremony. The number of beings delivered is immeasurable and boundless, leading them into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss or the realms of humans and heavens. Therefore, there is no doubt that Practitioner Su is capable of delivering sentient beings to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. If those who vow to be reborn in the West were to come here, they would surely feel as if they had found a priceless treasure, for Namo Amituofo is truly here, and Practitioner Su—whom we previously called Sister Su or Lay Practitioner Su—truly possesses the attainment to deliver beings to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss."

An Invitation to Witness the Truth

"Life at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre allows for spirit-to-spirit communication with Namo Amituofo, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, the holy assembly of the West, and Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju. This is why there have been so many records of spiritual interviews, and my own is merely one among them. It is inconceivable, but unless you come here yourself and experience this place, you will not know that my words are true. Throughout history, the Buddha’s teachings have been filled with extraordinary stories that leave listeners in awe. The work of Practitioner Su is one such story, and you should feel fortunate to have encountered an awakened being."

"I am currently here on the Dharma-Nature Land of the temple. This is real, and I invite you to come and hear my words. This place is located in Goombungee, Australia. The Pure Land Learning College in Toowoomba, and the Pure Land societies in Brisbane and Sydney, are all nearby. Why not come and meet me? Furthermore, I hope that Lay Practitioner Hu can also come to the temple. Even if one only receives the illumination of the Buddha-light, it can greatly improve one's physical health, not to mention that Namo Amituofo can heal all illnesses. If those who are ill come here just once, they will know that I have not spoken falsely. There is nothing more important that I failed to tell you while I was alive than the truth about Namo Amituofo at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and the work of Practitioner Su. This is a matter of great importance; do not treat it lightly. Rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is the most important task of this life, and Practitioner Su can lead you to complete this goal. I hope you will believe and practise accordingly."
