Xie Chunhong, the sister of Lay Practitioner Xie Zhonghua, sought deliverance from the profound suffering of her past life. Through the compassionate guidance of Practitioner Su, she and her father successfully attained rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This interview was recorded on July 23, 2021, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre.

Xie Chunhong speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Sister, my father and I have both arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I have seen Namo Amituofo with my own eyes. He is so magnificent, so incredibly vast, and He is constantly emitting brilliant light. His gaze is filled with such profound . Everything around me is glowing, and it is all so beautiful. It was Practitioner Su who took my father and me up here.

A Father's Tears and a Daughter's Regret

Before this, when my father saw me in the -Nature Land, he wept. He wept because he felt such deep heartache for all the suffering I had endured. When I saw my father crying, my own heart felt so heavy and sour. I realised then that it was my own lack of filial piety that had caused my family so much worry and pain. This time, it was my father who first made the firm decision to go to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. When I heard him say that he was going, I decided immediately that I would go too. My life had caused my family far too much anxiety, and now that my father had finally made this precious decision to seek rebirth, I knew I could not be the one to hold him back or become a burden on his heart. That is why I chose to go with him today.

The of Rebirth

There were so many people being reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss today. It was such a lively and joyous occasion! Everyone had a bright smile on their face. My own heart, which had been wounded for so long, had not yet fully recovered, so I did not smile at first. However, I joined in loudly with everyone else, chanting the name of Namo Amituofo. Practitioner Su took my hand, and in the blink of an eye, we had arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

I found myself standing upon a lotus flower. The air was filled with a wonderful, sweet fragrance everywhere I turned. As I looked around at the breathtaking scenery, I took a deep breath and felt my entire body become light and free. Seeing the smiles on the faces of everyone here, I finally tried to smile along with them. For some reason, this time, my smile was able to come from the very depths of my heart. This feeling gives me a sense of being truly reborn.

A Final Message to My Sister

Today is a truly monumental day for both my father and me. I also want to thank you, Sister, for helping us receive . Sister, the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is truly so beautiful. I am ready to begin enjoying this life now. All those past sorrows, the depression, the frustrations, and the things that I just could not let go of in my heart—I do not want to think about them ever again. I no longer wish to dwell on who wronged whom, or who owes whom an apology.

Sister, it was your younger sister who was ignorant and caused the family so much sadness and grief. But now, all of that is in the past. I have arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss to begin a completely new life. I hope that you, Sister, will continue to study the Dharma diligently so that one day in the future, we can all be reunited—you, my father, and me.

Thank you to the Buddha. Thank you to Practitioner Su. Thank you, Sister.

Chunhong"
