A Plea for Healing from the Western Pure Land

This is a record of an interview with the spirit of Venerable Master Chin Kung, who now resides in the Western Dharma-Nature Land. He speaks to Lay Practitioner Hu Nini, offering guidance on her health and the path to deliverance. Recorded by the chief writer, Venerable HaiZe, on November 9, 2022, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia.

Venerable Master Chin Kung speaks:

"Lay Practitioner Hu, every word I, Chin Kung, speak is the absolute truth! I no longer have a physical body, and my spirit is much clearer now. Especially here in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, where I have been so thoroughly purified, my vision is sharp. You must believe what I say! You must realise that you are a person of influence. What we have done in the Pure Land school throughout our lives—is it not to save everyone from this Five Turbidities and Evil World and the cycle of samsara, and to lead them back to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, to our compassionate Father, Namo Amituofo?

The Urgency of the Dharma

Right now, our compassionate Father is waiting for us at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre! Yet, not a single person from the Pure Land school has come over. Is this not the exact opposite of what we should be doing? I, Chin Kung, am here in the Dharma-Nature Land, anxious and worried, but it is of no use. If you could change your heart, turn around, and make the journey here, the situation would be entirely different. In truth, we all sincerely hope that your health will improve. However, at present, you are relying solely on medical treatment to replace your kidney function just to keep you in this world. But Namo Amituofo is right there at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre! To fly over for this journey—it is worth it! It is so incredibly worth it!

Before I passed away, I had trapped myself in such a state that I had no standing or qualification to say anything; I was powerless. I could only watch you suffer, and naturally, my heart did not wish for that to happen. But now, Chin Kung sees hope. I want to tell you: when we study Buddhism, do we not hope to live well while we are in this world, to chant Namo Amituofo diligently, and when it is time to go, to let Namo Amituofo lead us to the West? Pure Land practitioners should not shy away from discussing death; we should face it openly and honestly. Everyone must die eventually. Have I, Chin Kung, not already died? I am no longer in the human world, but my spirit has not died! My spirit is still very clear.

A Witness to the Truth

Everyone believes I have been reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, feeling that this old Venerable has returned to his home in the West. Although they are reluctant to let me go, they feel comforted for me. Moreover, the appearance of sarira and sarira flowers brought great joy to everyone's hearts. This is a testament left behind from my sixty years of lecturing on the sutras in this world. However, the manifestation of sarira does not mean I did not make mistakes. Merit is merit, and faults are faults; if I, Chin Kung, had committed wrongdoings, I would still have to go to the hells. It was only because Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su saved me that I am who I am today, able to speak these words to you from the Western Dharma-Nature Land of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.

If Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su could save even me, who was in the hells, then I believe they can certainly heal your illness! You have suffered enough. This is the grace of Namo Amituofo towards us. He is waiting here for us—waiting for you, waiting for everyone—but you must come over so that Namo Amituofo can exert his power to help. I know you have been praying to the Buddha and chanting Namo Amituofo, hoping for a turning point in your health. Now, Namo Amituofo is responding to you, yet the letters I wrote to you previously have received no response at all.

The Demons Within

Namo Amituofo’s way of responding to you is by using me here to invite you all to return. Every time I speak during these interviews, the content is a topic given to me by Namo Amituofo. If he were not here, how could he give me these topics? I simply elaborate on the topics Namo Amituofo provides, without any script. How could this be fake? A monastic does not tell lies; everything I say is a fact. Especially regarding your illness, Lay Practitioner Hu, Namo Amituofo said he would help you, but we have yet to see you. We are all waiting. Why? As I just mentioned, I can see many, many sentient beings densely packed upon your body. I have described their situation clearly; this is what I can say, and this is what I see. But I can only watch and tell you what I see; I cannot invite them out myself. If I could invite them out, I believe you would feel much better, and there are more than just these beings.

I also see many beings on your waist, and your legs are swollen; there are beings inside your legs and within your blood vessels. I also see demons on your body. These demons are laughing happily right now. The Demon King says, 'I am right here, and there is nothing you can do about it. With me blocking, she will not go to find Namo Amituofo.' I heard the Demon King say this. The Demon King added, 'In the past, I was framed by him; my family of ten was falsely accused and died. I died with deep resentment, and after death, I entered the Demon Realm.' Now the Demon King wants to seek revenge. How could he possibly let you have an easy time? The Demon King also said, 'I have waited so long for this lifetime to seek retribution from him, to make him live a life worse than death, just as I did back then. How could I just let go and let him be saved?' The Demon King is laughing, and there are many 'demon children and grandchildren' beside him, staying inside your kidneys, residing within the cells of your kidneys—a dark, dense mass.

The Obstruction of the Path

I also see many female beings in your blood. These female beings have karmic affinities with you from the past, and there are female demons who hate you to the bone. Right now, a lot of waste has accumulated in your blood, preventing you from concentrating, causing poor circulation, and making your legs swell. This is what they are happy to see; this is what I see.

When I was in the world, my legs could not walk, but now, the legs of my spirit are fine, just like a normal person's. I see that you are very tired, and your body is extremely exhausted. There are also demons in your head, making you not want to read these words, causing you to set them aside, so you cannot be the master of your own mind. Your 'true self' has also been detained by the demons. Where are they keeping it? Let me look... Ah! I see it. It is locked in your heart, just like I was before. Your true self is crying in a corner. It wants to come to the temple to find Namo Amituofo, but it is locked up and cannot take charge. Right now, your body is being controlled by the demons; they are blocking you and preventing you from coming to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to find Namo Amituofo. Alas! Who would tell you this? Even if they told you, you would be helpless against them. Only by coming to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre yourself can this be resolved. Here, we invite the demons out every day, and we write memorial tablets every day. Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su have the ability to invite the demons out. Practitioner Su has a Dharma Body; this is his skill. He can communicate with the demons on your body, which we cannot do. The Buddha and he can do it, and they can save your body.

There is a reason why Namo Amituofo chose Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. The monastics here have the ability to receive the Buddha’s teachings and understand the intentions of sentient beings, helping Practitioner Su to invite the demons out. They are all sent to the Western Dharma-Nature Land, which is where I am staying now. I see that every demon has now been transformed and subdued. What we read in the sutras—'subduing demonic enemies and attaining the subtle Dharma'—is truly happening here, confirming that what is written in the sutras is correct. If you have not seen it with your own eyes, it is hard to believe that this fact could happen; it is truly inconceivable!

A Call to Self-Deliverance

Just now, before Practitioner Su read the content of my interview with Venerable Wuzhuang from yesterday, he said, 'The next person to be interviewed is Lay Practitioner Hu Nini.' Suddenly, he felt dizzy. On the spot, he asked three monastics to immediately write down who caused his dizziness. There were Buddha’s words—the teachings of Namo Amituofo—and there were sentient beings, meaning the words of the demons and their memorial tablets. These demons said they were blocking Lay Practitioner Hu, as well as the monastics of the Pure Land school, to prevent them from coming to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre after reading these texts. Now, there is another text from Venerable Master Chin Kung for Lay Practitioner Hu; the demons certainly cannot allow this text to be published. If Lay Practitioner Hu comes to find Namo Amituofo, would all their previous efforts not be in vain? If Lay Practitioner Hu comes to find Namo Amituofo, then the Age of the Dharma’s Decline will turn into the Age of the True Teachings!

Of course, these demons have already been subdued by Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su in the Western Dharma-Nature Land. Just now, I saw many, many of them entering here. It turns out that after you read the transcripts of my interviews, no one came, and there was no response at all because you were obstructed by the demons. It turns out that in the Age of the Dharma’s Decline, besides 'evil teachers preaching the Dharma like the sands of the Ganges,' the obstruction of the path by demons is so severe! Therefore, everyone’s thoughts are currently obstructed by demons, which is why you cannot accept what Chin Kung is saying.

This is such a tragic thing! Now, I have seen it with my own eyes. Lay Practitioner Hu, your own true self is locked in your heart by demons, and your body is being controlled by demons. Moreover, these demons are your karmic creditors, so they are tormenting your body—how could they let you live a good life? I see the invitation of beings here every day, and many demons have been invited out; I did not expect these things to be happening to you as well. You must be thinking, 'How could the Master say such things?' This is truly not what Chin Kung wants to say, but I have no choice. If I do not say it, who would know? This is also the compassion of the Buddha, giving Chin Kung this opportunity to tell everyone what I have seen with my own eyes.

Furthermore, I just mentioned that there are many female demons in your blood. These female demons keep the body’s waste products with them. When you try to receive treatment, they quickly leave, and after the treatment, they return, effectively preventing this waste from being normally removed and excreted from the body. In fact, it is not just the blood; I mentioned earlier that there are demons in your head as well. What I see in your head is that in the past, when you were an official, you opposed others and harmed them, obstructing their career advancement, so now they have come to seek revenge. No wonder when I was lecturing on the sutras in the studio, you would inevitably feel drowsy while listening. Now I see it; at that time, they were obstructing you from listening to the sutras inside your brain, which is why you felt drowsy. Moreover, there is more than one demon in your kidneys. Besides the demon children and grandchildren led by the Demon King, there are other female demons who have also brought their own demon children and grandchildren to stay within your kidneys.

In past lives, we owed others too much. We have committed the five evils and ten evils—killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying, and alcohol. It is just that in this lifetime, they have appeared, causing your body to suffer. We should be very grateful to encounter Namo Amituofo in the human world at this time; this is something that has never been heard of before. Namo Amituofo’s spirit is in the human world, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. It is precisely at this time that you have encountered Namo Amituofo, who can help you treat your illness. In fact, you should also be compassionate. Whether they are karmic creditors within your body or demons, they are all sentient beings with karmic affinity to you—victims from your past lives. If you come here, no matter what, Namo Amituofo always has a way to invite them out. I believe this; inviting out one is one, and inviting out a batch is a batch. Moreover, there are more than just these. Otherwise, how could so many demons be subdued here, giving them the opportunity to leave the Demon Realm and no longer live a life in the Demon Realm filled with hatred? The generals, soldiers, and horses inside your body, as well as the civilians who are wailing while being burned by the flames of war and are still fleeing across the war-torn land—I have heard their cries for help and their weeping. We can stop the war, let their homes be restored, and let their families be reunited. With the Buddha’s light shining upon them, they will be willing to come out. This is all the Buddha’s compassion, allowing them to receive Chao Du and have the opportunity to go to the Western Dharma-Nature Land and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. We owed others in the past, and now we are using this body to repay the debt. How could this ever be repaid? If you suffer in this lifetime and are reborn as a human in the next, your karmic creditors will still come to collect their debts. It is better to take this opportunity while Namo Amituofo is here to quickly send them to the West, resolve their suffering, and resolve your karmic grievances so that you do not have to suffer anymore. This is what I, Chin Kung, have seen in the Western Dharma-Nature Land. I am reporting this to you, hoping that you can take it to heart and come here to let Namo Amituofo help you treat your illness.

Furthermore, countless spirits have already been sent to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and the realms of humans and devas from here. For some of these spirits, their living family members helped the deceased perform Chao Du. Here, the Buddha knows which realm they are in and can invite them up, send them to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss during the Dharma assembly, and even converse with them and interview them. There are too many interview transcripts at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre; every one of them is moving and wonderful. These are real events, not fake; this cannot be fabricated. There is also a 'Mituo Village' here; my dream has not yet been realised, but Practitioner Su is working hard to realise it.

Lay Practitioner Hu, save yourself! Human life is limited. Now that you have encountered such a situation and your body is suffering, come to find the Buddha; you do not have to suffer. Chin Kung believes that Namo Amituofo will heal you. Also, this is the place of the True Teachings and the Western Land. Because where Namo Amituofo is, it is naturally the True Teachings; it is a good place for practice and for rebirth in the Western Pure Land. You will know once you come to see it.

I will add one more thing. In fact, the demons on Lay Practitioner Hu’s body are not limited to these; Chin Kung has only listed a few places just now. Now I see that there are also demons and karmic creditors on your face, making you unhappy, displeased, and your expression stiff; there are also demons and karmic creditors in your stomach, making you unable to eat or drink; the demons and karmic creditors in your chest make your chest feel tight and unable to relax. There are also many karmic creditors working together with the demons. These karmic creditors do not have enough power on their own, but because the demons are present, they follow the demons to cause these illnesses in your body.

Where do the demons come from? Some are the karmic creditors on your own body who are demons; others arise when you have selfish thoughts, think only of yourself, or complain and get angry. Anger is when they like it the most. Sometimes you also get angry, flare up, or hold in your anger; these are all good opportunities for demons to enter your body to interfere and obstruct you.

To make you believe these things, it truly requires courage. You must accept that there are so many sentient beings on your body. In fact, it is not just you; many people have demons and karmic creditors on their bodies, and of course, this includes me, Chin Kung. As I have said before and told Venerable Zhuang, before I passed away, I also had demons on my body. Therefore, I have said so much; if you can take just one sentence to heart and come here to let Namo Amituofo heal your illness, then it will have been worth it!
