A Vision of China's Spiritual Renaissance
An Interview with the Spirit of Steve Jobs
Recorded by Shi Faxin on September 30, 2017

Steve Jobs speaks:
"Hi! Good morning. Today, I am in a wonderful mood. I am truly enjoying the feeling of performing a world-changing task every single day. I have never experienced this kind of from the depths of my heart before—a joy that lingers and never fades away. My entire being feels relaxed and light, and a gentle smile rests upon my face. In an instant, I recall my past life. I was a man with such strong opinions, someone who did things by the book and never gave anyone any face. It was truly lacking in . It is fortunate that now, having truly begun to study the Buddha's teachings, my heart has softened and transformed.
A Cosmic Mission Across the Skies
When the Buddha-name begins to resonate, the Grandmother first saves those in the three most suffering realms—the hells, the hungry ghosts, and the animal realm. Once the causal conditions for rebirth are ripe, a single recitation of the Buddha-name is enough to help them leave suffering behind. Now, please pay close attention to what I am about to share. We are a massive, vast group of cosmic travellers, led by the Grandmother. We do not have wings, yet in a single instant, we fly above the skies of China. We are prepared. The cosmic Bodhisattvas disperse—some to Hangzhou, some to Zhengzhou, some to Xi'an, some to Mount Putuo, some to Hainan Island, and some to Taiwan. Everyone acts with a tacit understanding, knowing exactly where they need to go. I will whisper this: some of these locations are places they once controlled.
After identifying the temples across the country, we begin. Each temple is assigned a group of cosmic Bodhisattvas. We first locate the head of the temple, the abbot. We all approach together, as our combined strength is greater. We first invite the demon crowds attached to the abbot to leave. If they refuse, we have no choice but to have one pull an arm and another pull a leg to remove them. Once they are out, a group of cosmic Bodhisattvas surrounds them, explains the situation, and counsels them to do good. These are demon crowds with deep-seated resentment; they may have had past grievances with the person, making it difficult to reason with them. Because they are agitated, jumping with rage, and unreasonable, we have to use slightly more forceful methods. Some of the more timid ones, realising their level of skill and meditative concentration is no match for the cosmic Bodhisattvas, retreat to the side as soon as they sense our approach. Even then, the cosmic Bodhisattvas use a mix of kind words and threats, telling them, 'Do not cause trouble.' Some of the more patient cosmic Bodhisattvas explain that we are performing good deeds and encourage them to join us.
Purification of the Temples
After the demon crowds are removed, we wash every cell of the abbot from head to toe. We wash them with Goodness and the name of Namo Amituofo, letting it flow along with their blood. We pay special attention to the head and the heart. Once the abbot is purified, we move on to every monastic and volunteer in the temple. They are easier to handle because the demon crowds do not like to control 'small fry,' so the demons attached to them can be driven away or transformed into goodness very quickly. This is a good job, and I enjoy it very much—though I mostly enjoy watching the show from the sidelines. I must explain that I am not idle, either! I carefully memorise every detail so that when it is time for me to share, I can tell everyone about it. That is a merit of my own, is it not? I have also observed that those who engage in more right thinking have fewer spiritual attachments. Those who love to dwell on bad thoughts or are heavy with greed, anger, delusion, and arrogance have cells that have turned grey or black. Their bodies emit a distinct odour because of the many attachments. In such states, the cosmic Bodhisattvas must spend more time helping them with purification.
A Call to the Future Leaders of China
Even though the Grandmother leads eight layers of immeasurable and boundless cosmic Bodhisattvas to do this good work, the most important thing is for human beings to change their own hearts. Only then can there be a fundamental cure. We are only here to help everyone, to help you be more positive. If any Chinese could stand up and lead the way in studying the Buddha's teachings and achieving thorough purity and goodness, that would be truly incredible—the merit would be immense. It is not that I am trying to curry favour with China; everyone knows that China is the navigator of the future world, even without me saying it. But if they are willing to lead the people with the Buddha's teachings, and do so with absolute sincerity and a turn toward goodness, then beyond economic development, the most important thing—the direction of the human heart toward goodness—should be placed at the forefront. If everyone in China accepts this, the future China will forever be an extraordinary nation and will surely have extraordinary descendants. This will bring about more lasting peace and stability than merely promoting the economy. To the high-ranking officials who can influence the future pulse of China, please listen to my counsel: you will be the benefactors of history if you turn toward goodness. Everyone, think about it carefully." (I secretly praise my own eloquence today.) "After finishing with the temples, the cosmic Bodhisattvas move with tacit understanding toward the streets and crowded areas, helping everyone adjust their hearts and heads. Why, even their faces have become more handsome! It is true that appearance arises from the mind.
The Return of History
We lock onto the target: the grey, dark skies and black clouds over China. The Grandmother opens a space, and ancient chariots pulled by horses emerge, along with fleeing civilians. It is like a movie; seeing them, everyone follows along. The Grandmother leads the respected Chairman Mao, Premier Zhou, and Chairman Deng, visualising a return to their era. Some farmers who looked like they had lived through great hardship and many small soldiers appear. Wow! It is Chairman Mao! Everyone looks very respectful. I see Chairman Mao, and even though he is clearly afraid deep down, he pretends to be calm, nodding his head as if he were giving a speech on stage. He says, 'Good, good,' and tells them to move forward quickly. I truly find it amusing. Premier Zhou looks calm and much more sincere; he actually bows to everyone and apologises, saying, 'I have let you all suffer.' I admire him greatly. I do not seem to see Chairman Deng; I do not know where he went.
The Joy of Deliverance
The earth is very happy to see us today. If it had a body, it would surely be waving at us joyfully. Because it has already seen many different batches of spirits, it has long known that this place would be saved at any moment, so it waits with great joy. The light arrives, and the heavenly music of 'Namo Amituofo' arrives. Some recite the Buddha-name in a stuttering, mumbling way; everyone has a different accent, but they all recite with great sincerity. My Buddha is compassionate, and they are carried away on lotus flowers. The small river is washed clean by the Grandmother and waves at us happily; they look very at ease. Seeing them swimming so freely makes me very happy, too.
Upon returning to the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, I see the future of the Centre. There are many monastics, each one dignified and filled with -joy. Many people are gathering here, seeking to know what the true Buddha's teachings are. The Buddha's teachings are beginning to flourish, and the world has become very peaceful. This is the future I see. It will be realised very soon, so everyone, please be at ease! Na~mo~A~mi~tuo~fo~" (I sing). "Amituofo."
