Namo Amituofo reminds us that the laws of karma and cause and effect are not distant, external forces. They are deeply rooted within our own being. Every action, word, and thought we have ever produced is stored within us, waiting for the right conditions to ripen.
The Path to Purification
By understanding that these causes reside within, we can begin the work of purification. We must practise diligently, chanting Namo Amituofo to clear the obstacles that prevent us from seeing our true nature. This is the only way to leave suffering behind and find the lasting happiness of the of Ultimate Bliss.
