The Duality of the Heart

On September 13, 2017, the disciple Faxin respectfully invited Namo Amituofo to provide compassionate teachings. Namo Amituofo began by speaking of the nature of our inner world. Worry may fill the heart, yet ease and freedom also reside within it. These are two sides of the same coin, both arising from the one true heart. When we understand that all things are of the same substance, we must ask ourselves where our true practice lies. The answer is found in the diligent cultivating the mind, which allows us to see the world with bright, clear eyes.

The Constant Amidst the Changing World

As we look upon the world, we see that all things are connected. When the dawn rises, every drop of dew and every ray of light is clear and pure. Though the world is in constant flux—with stars shifting and objects transforming—Namo Amituofo remains eternally present. All things are fundamentally the same in their essence. The distinctions we perceive are merely the result of our own attachments and the unique characteristics of the objects themselves. This is the nature of the transformation of all things, governed by the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.

The Universal Principle in All Things

This principle exists everywhere, in every corner of the universe. It is present in the vastness of space and in the smallest particles of existence. We can see this truth manifested in the world around us: the lush grass and the towering trees of the forest, the drifting clouds that grace the sky, the individual droplets of water that nourish the earth, and the very cells that make up the human body. Everything is filled with the remnants of our , and within this consciousness, the seeds of our past actions remain.

to Purity

As the light of wisdom grows brighter day by day, the sound of the flows through our lives like a gentle stream. The earth becomes a place of auspiciousness, a beautiful tapestry of colours and forms. When we walk through this world, we can choose to let our hearts remain cool, clear, and unburdened. By embracing this simplicity, we allow our true nature to emerge with ease. This is the path to true freedom, where the heart is no longer swayed by the illusions of the material world, but rests firmly in the light of Namo Amituofo.
