The Dawn of True Renewal

A new year has dawned, and we find ourselves in a new space. Have you truly experienced a renewal of your entire being? In the world, people often look forward to the new year with specific hopes and expectations. They pray for good fortune, hoping that the coming months will be smoother and that their luck will take a turn for the better. However, these are merely worldly desires for external change.

A truly new year is not defined by the passing of time on a calendar. It is defined by your willingness to undergo a profound internal transformation. It requires you to be more vigilant in your practice, to be more aware of your thoughts, and to enter this new year with a spirit that is genuinely refreshed and renewed.

Navigating the Currents of Change

Each year represents a new space, a fresh opportunity for evolution. As children of the Buddha living in this world, you must learn to discern the subtle shifts within these changes. You should not merely drift through the days; instead, you must actively seek to understand the lessons hidden within the changing circumstances of your life.

Every year brings unique tasks and opportunities for spiritual growth. You must approach each day with a different level of and a heightened sense of vigilance. Do not allow your practice to become stagnant or routine. Instead, ask yourself how you can deepen your understanding and refine your conduct as you move forward.

The Vigilance of an Awakened Heart

You must always be mindful of the nature of time and space. They are not merely external conditions; they are the environment in which you cultivate your spirit. Do not let your heart grow old in complacency or indifference. You must remain awake and clear-minded at every moment, ensuring that your Six Roots are purified and your focus remains steady.

Do not allow yourself to become lost in the delusions and distractions that often accompany the start of a new year. You must exert your utmost effort to seek new learning and achieve new growth. By dedicating yourself to this path, you will find that the results of your efforts will manifest in ways that bring you closer to your true nature. Only through such diligent practice can you truly reap the fruits of your aspirations and find the peace you seek. Namo Amituofo.

These Words of Namo Amituofo were recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Faxi, as the chief writer.
