Ma Yun’s Commitment to the Great Ambition of Amitabha

This is a record of an interview with Ma Yun, who sought Chao Du at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. "Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre—I, Ma Yun, have etched this name deeply into my heart. For a long time, I have encountered this place in my dreams, yet upon waking, only fragmented impressions remained. Now, at last, these pieces are coming together, maturing into a clear and coherent vision. Once I complete my current tasks, I will immediately set this plan into motion.

A Vision of Golden Light

Every day, the image of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre becomes clearer to me, revealing more of the new phenomena of the Pure Land. I understand the profound importance of this Centre in the world. Seeing the recent transformations within the temple—the way it radiates such majestic golden light—I am filled with auspicious messages of celebration. I know the temple is about to open its doors, and I must hasten to join the ranks of saviors.

A Commitment to the Great Ambition

I watch the progress of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre every day with immense joy. The return of our fellow practitioner brings me great happiness. I am fully aware of my own responsibilities. I will follow the Great Ambition of Namo Amituofo with sincerity and truth. I will manage the future of Dharma manifestation well, with the hope of benefiting all beings and truly serving the public. My fellow practitioner, I am ready to strive for this. Namo Amituofo."
