The Deep Compassion of the Bodhi Vow
Your compassion must be deep and profound, for it is the foundation of your Bodhi vow. By truly realising the path, you will manifest the fruit of Bodhi. You must correct your practice of Bodhi throughout this life. When you walk this path with sincerity, you will encounter no obstacles, for you will have understood the Way within your own heart.
Hold compassion in your heart at all times. Focus your mind to spread the Way. The Middle Path is your strength; walk it with sincerity and truth. Through the passing of years and months, continue to cultivate your original wisdom. Share the teachings selflessly and ensure the words you pass on are authentic and reliable.
The Integrity of the Authentic
Beware of those who preach false magic. The true principle lies in the heart of the Way. The authentic Buddha’s teachings must be upheld with a heart that follows the Truth. Do not look at the differences between beings and allow wrong views to arise. Such views destroy the correct principles and cause you to lose your desire for true learning.
The true teacher makes no distinctions. Regardless of who you are, you must maintain Right and join together in the Right Practice. All learning must return to your true self. Integrate this with your wisdom-heart. Therefore, follow the path of truth and learn with the same sincerity.

The Buddha’s teachings are found only within the heart; follow the right path to learn well. The Buddha’s teachings are found only in awakening; follow the truth to learn well. This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Faxi.
