Rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss — Chen Xiaohua (Grandmother of Liu Yue'ai)

Lay Practitioner Liu Yue'ai:

Namo Amituofo, greetings to Practitioner Su. Disciple Liu Yue'ai has today officially arrived at your Buddha-land — the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

This is the home I have long yearned for while in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. I always knew of this place in my heart; when I was still in the human world, my impression was vague and not very clear. After learning of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss while in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I felt a deep longing and always wanted to arrive at the Buddha-land of Namo Amituofo sooner. Of course, while in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I benefited greatly from listening to sutras and hearing the Dharma, and life was already very good.

When people have a physical body, there are many things they truly cannot comprehend; it is only after losing the body and experiencing all this as a spirit that one realises the truth of many things is not as one previously thought.

People in the world are just like I was before, living this life in a daze, without any direction. Although I knew that one should do good deeds and not do bad deeds, speak good words and not speak bad words, I did not have a profound understanding of learning Buddhism or anything else. It was not until I entered the Western Land of Dharma Nature that I truly knew the compassion of the Buddha and understood everything about Buddhist education.

Today I am immensely grateful, and I am also grateful to my good grandson, Chen Xiaohua, for registering me for Chao Du. If it were not for this Chao Du, I would still be living a dazed and dark life in the underworld. Counting it up, it seems that decades have passed. This time is neither long nor short; if I had continued to live like that, I truly would not have known when it would end.

Now that I can arrive at the land of Namo Amituofo, I am very joyful in my heart, constantly smiling and reciting Namo Amituofo. I have realised that everything in life is illusory and false, and I know that only now have I begun to live a real life.

I am now reporting all this to everyone with a heart full of joy, and I hope that those who are connected by karmic affinity can see this interview and know that the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is truly a wonderful place. I have no afflictions here at all, living a free and easy life where I can immediately know whatever I wish to know.

I hope that my family in the world can learn Buddhism sooner, especially by studying the Buddhist education from the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia; this is more important than any other learning. I watch people in the world desperately chasing, longing to obtain everything better sooner, but in the end, after death, they discover that they truly cannot take anything with them.

I see this very clearly and understand it well here, and I hope I can convey this good news to everyone sooner, letting everyone know that there is such a way out after death, which is to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Of course, my ability to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss today is not by my own power, but by the power of the Buddha and the compassionate salvation of the Buddha. It is only because I still possessed some Buddhist affinity that I am able to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss today.

Finally, I sincerely hope that my family, and my good grandson Chen Xiaohua who performed the Chao Du for me, will be more diligent in your practice on the Buddha's path and understand that this body is not easily obtained.

I no longer have a body now, and there are many things I want to do but cannot, just like when I was in the underworld, living a lonely and helpless life. The world of light today makes me feel that everything is truly real and beautiful. I also hope that more people in this world can learn the Buddha’s teachings, and I believe this can certainly be achieved.

Because I am here watching the progress of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, which is very rapid; under the leadership of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, everyone is becoming more and more diligent, and they are longing for the day when the temple doors open and the Namo Amitabha Buddhist Hall is established.

We are here watching all the progress of the temple, and we know that when this day comes, it will certainly bring many benefits to the people of the world. When the world can have Buddhist education, and children are also nurtured in the good teachings of the Buddha from a young age, then many human beings and spirit realm beings will be saved.

I sincerely hope that this day will come soon, and I bless everyone from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
