Lay Practitioner Hou Binyi:

Namo Amituofo. My name is Hou Binyi, and I have just arrived in the of Ultimate Bliss for one day. However, this is calculated by human days; in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, it feels as if only a moment has passed. Here, we chant Buddha's name or listen to sutras and hear the , and time passes exceptionally quickly. We are completely immersed in it, without a single stray thought, simply accepting the Buddha’s teachings of Namo Amituofo with our whole heart and mind.

My heart is now very open, which is a great difference from when I was in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Because I came up from hell, it truly took a long time in the Western Land of Dharma Nature to slowly purify myself and regain my original peaceful state. This is not an easy thing; after all, when I was in hell, it was truly too bitter, so bitter that I forgot everything, remembering only the suffering and pain, as if I could remember nothing else.

Now that I have arrived in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, because Namo Amituofo gives everyone equal supernatural powers, I have remembered everything. Not to mention the events of my past life, I can even see the events of my many lives clearly; this is the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

I am very grateful for the Buddha's , and grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for bringing us to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Without any past attachments, one can naturally let go of everything and merge into it. I will certainly continue my practice here. This is a world of no regression, where everyone practices diligently, and progress is very fast. If one can resolve to save beings, progress is even faster; this is how it is.

I am very grateful for the Buddha's compassion, and also very grateful to my wife for registering me for the Dharma Assembly. The Chao Du at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia is not an ordinary Chao Du. When Practitioner Su and his led my spirit out of hell, I was still trembling; now, having led me from the Western Land of Dharma Nature to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I am filled with Dharma and longing as I arrive in this new land. Everyone is like this, full of anticipation to arrive here and begin a new life of practice.

Speaking of the past, it is truly sentimental. In life, birth, aging, sickness, and death are all suffering, and I am no exception. I thought that when one reached the end of life, it was already very bitter, but I never expected that after death I would fall into hell to suffer retribution, with pain ten thousand times worse. I was ill for a long time, repeatedly, and could not be cured. I spent my old age in illness, and looking back, I feel full of gloom.

People in the world all hope to live a long life, and even more so to live to a hundred in good health; this is the dream of worldly people. Now that I have learned the true Buddha’s teachings and have arrived in the Buddha's land, it seems that everything I possessed in my physical body was truly too short-lived and too illusory; it was not real at all. It is a pity that people in the world always think that all this is real, which is why they are so attached and suffer so much. My family members are the same, spending day after day like this, thinking that living like this is fine. But if you do not let your spirit grow earlier, when this physical body dies, there will be nothing left, and you really will not know where you will go to suffer retribution!

I am considered lucky, having only suffered in hell for a little over a year. I saw many people in hell suffering retribution for a very, very long time, so long that they themselves did not know how many years had passed. And I only suffered retribution in hell for a little over a year; although I endured much torture, I eventually arrived in the Buddha's land, and my heart is full of gratitude. I hope my wife, while in the human world, will grasp the little time remaining, practise diligently, and chant Buddha's name more. Although you can ask Practitioner Su to lead you to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss after death, I still hope you can leave the world more peacefully. If you can rely on your own strength to chant Buddha's name and be reborn, that would be even better.

If that is not possible, you must still chant Buddha's name more; no matter what your physical condition is, you must chant Buddha's name more. I know your health is not very good either; I can see it clearly from the spiritual space. While you still have a breath left, chant Buddha's name more and bring more beings back to our Western home; that is the important thing.

Alright, I am waiting for you here. I hope you will chant Buddha's name earlier, practise diligently, and return to the West. I also advise all my family members and everyone who knows me not to have too much personality, habits, or afflictions while in the world. These things that you cannot take with you will cause you to create boundless ; besides illness, you will have to suffer retribution after death, which is very unworthy and painful.

If you can get to know the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre earlier, there is still hope. If you are old, then register for the Chao Du Dharma Assembly here; at least it guarantees that you will not fall into the evil realms after death and will no longer continue to cycle in the six realms of existence. Escaping the six realms of existence early is a very important matter. Moreover, Namo Amituofo is residing in the world, which is difficult to encounter in millions of years; everyone must grasp this.

Gratitude to Namo Amituofo, gratitude to Practitioner Su, gratitude to everyone!
