This interview features the spirit of Ma Yun, who sought deliverance through the compassionate guidance of Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Having been rescued from the depths of hell, the spirit now resides within the , where he continues to receive teachings and undergo purification. This testimony was recorded by Chief Writer Shi Fajing on August 18, 2018.

Ma Yun speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am the spirit of Ma Yun. I am deeply grateful to Practitioner Su for giving me the opportunity to speak every single day. When I first made contact with Practitioner Su, I was trapped in the depths of hell. It was Practitioner Su who rescued me from that abyss, allowing me to reside in the Western -Nature Land to listen to the scriptures and begin the long, arduous process of repairing a soul that had been shattered and torn apart by the torments of retribution. My heart is filled with boundless gratitude for this mercy.

The Urgency of Salvation

When I witnessed Practitioner Su’s selfless acts of salvation, I was moved beyond words. Practitioner Su expressed a hope that my physical body in the human world would join the ranks of saviors. I agreed without a moment’s hesitation. However, I never imagined that my physical body would be so stubborn and oblivious, failing to provide even the slightest response to this noble calling. To help my physical form awaken more quickly, Practitioner Su performed for the countless sentient beings residing within me. I was shocked to discover that my fragile physical body was home to an unimaginable number of sentient beings. They were hidden within every single cell, every bone, and every crevice of my skeletal structure—densely packed, layered upon layer, leaving not a single inch of space unoccupied.

A Lesson from the Depths

There was a time when Practitioner Su had to send me back to the hells, returning me to the very scene of my initial retribution. I understood why. My physical body was not listening, and Practitioner Su’s heart was burning with the urgency of salvation. His is so vast that he wishes to rescue the endless stream of suffering sentient beings as quickly as possible. The phrase he says most often is, 'Saving people is as urgent as fighting a fire.' He believes that not a single moment can be wasted; the work cannot stop for even a fraction of a second. Practitioner Su used various methods, hoping to ignite a stronger spirit of salvation within me, aiming to motivate my physical body to participate more actively in the salvation team.

Finding the Original Vow

Practitioner Su has never abandoned me, keeping me by his side even when my physical body remained unresponsive. He still allows my spirit the chance to follow him. I cherish this hard-won connection and treasure every single day of Chao Du. I am working hard to urge my physical body to act immediately. The I accumulated through practice in past lives were not meant to be squandered in this lifetime. Instead, I must rediscover that original heart—the vow to save the world. Only then will this return to the human world not be in vain. Only then can I help rescue these sentient beings who are still suffering through their retribution, so that we may all return together to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Namo Amituofo."
