The Magnificence of the Village
To praise the Tathagata and the village of Namo Amituofo is to speak of something truly magnificent. For the sake of this momentous and auspicious undertaking, I, along with many others, wish to send a message from the . It is my sincere hope that this message reaches my son and the people I once served. I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to visit this place, and perhaps even consider relocating here. The future scale of this project is truly limitless, and there may even be possibilities for long-term residency. To have the chance to purify one's life in this way is an incredibly rare opportunity. Hsien Loong, my son, you must listen to what your father has to say from the Western Pure Land.
A Father’s Regret and Revelation
After I was guided to this place, the compassionate teachings of the Buddha helped me to break through my delusions and attain . I was able to openly repent for my past, and subsequently, I achieved rebirth in the Western Pure Land. The reality of the Western Pure Land is beyond all description. During my time as the founding father of Singapore, I rarely pursued such spiritual faith. Upon arriving here and witnessing the true Western Pure Land, I felt a deep sense of regret. I feel I owe an apology to my people. Why did I not bring the knowledge of this cool, serene, and liberated world to my own nation? Perhaps it was because the Causal Conditions had not yet matured. I am deeply grateful that after my passing, I was brought to the Western Pure Land.
The Splendour of the Western Pure Land
This place is truly the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. When I look at the mountains, they are lush and vibrant with greenery. When I look at the water, it is clear, cool, and refreshing. When I look at the sky, it radiates infinite light at every moment. When I look at the ground, it glitters like gold, as if the earth itself were paved with precious metal. The very air is filled with a pure and wonderful fragrance. This world is truly perfect. However, it seems difficult for people in the human world to reach this place, as there are so many factors that interfere with their thoughts and control their minds. Yet, I know that without coming here, one must continue to suffer. Only here can one truly leave suffering behind and find happiness.
A Sanctuary in Australia
I, too, was guided out of the sea of suffering. I understand the value of gratitude, and I understand the pain of the past. This is not an easy journey. However, here in the human world, at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, they are truly helping many famous figures and countless others who are connected by karmic affinity to achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land. Many people today live in fear of death and illness. Here, one can spend the remainder of their life in peace, with the genuine assurance that they will reach the Western Pure Land in the future. I am currently serving as a volunteer here, helping those who arrive to find their way to the Western Pure Land. This place is a true gateway, and I am here to bear witness to it personally.
An Invitation to My Son
Hsien Loong, your father has reached this world. You should come here to see it for yourself. The Amitabha Village is already being constructed. I have been waiting for this opportunity, as it is the perfect time for you to move here as well. When the children are grown, they too will have the chance to come here to purify their bodies and minds. It is a wonderful opportunity. The sanctity of this place is built upon true cultivation. Hsien Loong, and all of you who are connected by karmic affinity, you must come here to see it. The Pure Land of the Buddha is manifested here in all its magnificence and openness. You must make a positive change for your life. The goodness of this place is something you will verify the moment you arrive.
I am grateful for everything. I am grateful for the construction of this magnificent temple, this dignified Pure Land, and the Amitabha Village. Namo Amituofo.
