The Amitabha Village: A Message from the Western Pure Land

A Message from Beyond

Namo Amituofo. I am Wuhong. I am sending this message to you from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I am deeply grateful to Practitioner Su for providing me with this opportunity to communicate. Many of you may know of Practitioner Su, yet perhaps you are not fully aware of the depth of his role. Practitioner Su is a being whose spirit has reached a state of such purity and goodness that his Dharma Body has manifested. Through this Dharma Body, he performs the sacred work of Chao Du, guiding infinite suffering beings to be reborn in the Western Pure Land or into the heavenly realms. It is for this reason that he is respectfully addressed as Practitioner Su. These are not merely my own words; for some time now, the ancestral masters and venerable ones residing in the Western Pure Land have spoken of him in this very way.

When you hear me speak in this manner, you may realise that I am no longer a person of this world. You might wonder, is the Western Pure Land truly as close as if it were right beside you? The answer is yes. I am currently in the West, and because the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia is capable of receiving messages from this realm, I am able to speak with you today, even though I passed away many years ago.

The Splendour of the Western Pure Land

The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is infinitely magnificent, a beauty that words and language cannot fully describe. It is spoken of in the sutras, and it has been personally verified by the ancestral masters and venerable ones who have reached it. It is far better to experience this truth for yourself than to merely hear of it. In that realm, everything is perfect, everything is auspicious, and every wish is fulfilled. The magnificence of that place is truly beyond measure.

The grace of the Buddha is impossible to repay in full. The only way to honour it is to engage in even more diligent practice. By doing so, you can attain the Buddha's path sooner and return to save those with whom you have karmic connections, guiding them back to the West. These are the sincere words from my heart.

The Path to Rebirth

I am deeply grateful to Practitioner Su for sending me to the Western Pure Land. After I passed away, I was aware that many fellow practitioners and faithful followers helped me by performing Chao Du, setting up memorial tablets, and dedicating merits to me during Dharma assemblies. I am truly grateful to all of you for your kindness. However, in truth, the journey to the Western Pure Land was made possible by Practitioner Su. Please allow me to speak plainly: this journey is a matter of mind-capacity, of meditative concentration, of Awakening, of virtuous conduct, and of the realisation of emptiness. It is a matter of the heart of Namo Amituofo, the vows of Namo Amituofo, and the practice of Namo Amituofo. I am able to speak of these things because, during my time in the West, my spirit has been purified and nurtured, allowing me to speak with ease and without any lingering attachments.

The Sanctuary of Amitabha Village

The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia is a place where Namo Amituofo truly abides. With Practitioner Su present, it serves as a vital stepping stone for those seeking rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. The construction of the Amitabha Village is a rare and precious opportunity. Those who come to reside there will have a clear path to rebirth, as they can be guided by Practitioner Su toward the Western Pure Land. This is a message of such rarity that you must seize this opportunity with all your heart. This is the true gateway to rebirth in the Western Pure Land, the door to immortality. Though the physical body may die, the spirit does not.

The Eternal Nature of the Spirit

The name Wuhong was merely the Dharma name I used when I was a monastic in the human world. Today, this name serves only to let you know who is speaking; it is no longer needed for anything else. My physical body has withered and can no longer be used; in the language of the world, I have died, and my name has been removed from the human registry. However, my spirit has not died. It has simply migrated from the human world to the Western Pure Land. Furthermore, under the compassionate vow-power of Namo Amituofo, we all share the name of Namo Amituofo. Everything that Namo Amituofo possesses, we also possess, and we all have the potential to manifest the same meditative skills. It simply depends on whether we have the ability to bring them forth.

A Call to Diligent Practice

Even here in the Western Pure Land, one must continue to engage in diligent practice to achieve success. Namo Amituofo has provided us with the most beautiful and blissful environment imaginable. In worldly terms, it is the highest form of happiness and enjoyment. Therefore, I must continue to seek the Buddha-nature within me, just as Practitioner Su has been able to do in the turbid and evil human world. He has strived to break through the darkness to develop a Western Pure Land right here on earth, providing you with the best and most worry-free environment: the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia.

The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is connected to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. I wish to share these inconceivable meditative skills and achievements with all of you. The Amitabha Village awaits those who have the karmic affinity to reside there, allowing you to become a citizen of the West while still in this life, and eventually, to enter the Western Pure Land itself.
