This is a record of an interview with Mo Shi Chu, an ancient demon who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the . This account reflects upon his existence spanning 891.6 billion years across various planetary cycles. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa Ru, on March 15, 2026.

Mo Shi Chu speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. You can tell from my name that I have been deeply rooted in the Earth for a very long time, earning my living here. This is not my first time experiencing the cycle of 'formation, abiding, destruction, and emptiness.' Long ago, even in the previous civilization, I was already surviving on this planet. Back then, I was just an ordinary person, a being in the human world.

I never imagined I would join the demon realm, yet I have stayed for 891.6 billion years. The era I lived in was much like the current Earth—'the -ending age' is a very fitting description. Humans were self-centred, obsessed with satisfying their own desires and survival instincts, competing and attacking each other. This planet is a beautiful blue now, but in my distant past, it was more of an orange-red. It slowly shifted to blue-green, and now it is blue. These changes are just natural cycles of formation and destruction.

The Eternal Guardian of the Middle Kingdom

No matter which era or cycle I am in, I have always controlled the region known as 'China.' It might seem abstract to you—how could different planets have the same country? But every planet has its corresponding positions, a natural result of the laws of and cause and effect. The same location naturally carries the same identity. I suppose I am a demon who does not forget his roots, which is why I call myself 'Mo Shi Chu'—the Beginning of the Demon. My home planet was invaded by foreign demon forces, and I lost my life in that war.

I kept my heart set on guarding my home, this region of China. The intense hatred I felt for the destruction of my country drove me into the demon realm. I constantly remind myself to remember the original appearance of my home and to take revenge on the foreign forces and any demons or humans who destroy it. I have guarded this region for 891.6 billion years. Every time, I stand watch until the entire planet is destroyed. Whether the invaders are demons or humans, I, in my form as an ancient demon, along with my demon children and grandchildren, show no mercy to anyone who hinders the development or prosperity of China.

A Legacy of Power and Protection

I still remember the glory of my nation in those early days. That brilliance, that arrogance, that untouchable posture—that is the image I must protect. Usually, China remains in a state of very stable development. Whether or not the Buddha’s teachings are present, the nation always knows how to protect itself and compete, ensuring it never falls into a position of weakness. During several existential crises, other nations have attempted to invade China. I have always led China to counter-invade, eventually achieving a position of global dominance. This is the glorious achievement that I, Mo Shi Chu, am most proud of.

This China is the world's most elite, most brilliant, and most untouchable nation. I have succeeded time and again in making the entire planet, and even the entire universe, recognise the strength and prosperity of China. To guard this land strictly, I and my demon children and grandchildren built our demon palace in the space directly above China. It is a very deep, vast space within the spiritual realms and the demon realm.

The Architecture of Control

If you look at the map of China on Earth today, our demon palace is at least ten to a hundred times larger. Because the size of the Earth varies with each cycle, I built my palace to be massive, ensuring it can always completely cover the entire Chinese region from above. The organization of the demon palace is strict and divided into several departments to execute our will—what modern people would call military, economic, cultural, and ethnic affairs. We know these are the fundamental requirements for a nation's prosperity. Military power means having a formidable force to defend against foreign invaders and attacks from other parts of the universe.

We do not just strengthen China's military power in the human world; we also fortify the demon palace to defend against attacks from other demon realms, demon crowds, and the spiritual realms. This is the powerful strategic planning we have invested in our palace's design. We pour massive amounts of demon power into creating a palace with powerful defensive and counter-attack mechanisms. When we are attacked, we can react instantly. The demon palace can release a vast amount of demon power in a split second to destroy any enemy attempting to invade.

In terms of economic strategy, in the human world, the economy represents various resources, and humans are accustomed to using money as a medium of exchange. We understand this well. In our economic operations, we seize various raw resources and attract new development projects and technological innovations to keep the economy running stably. This is one of our key operational focuses.

In the demon realm, 'economy' is defined as energy and demon power. How to effectively control human hearts, making them align with our demon nature and demon actions, and continuously supplying energy to the demon palace—this is the lifeblood of our economic control. Therefore, we do not allow any Chinese person to engage in behaviour that separates them from the demon realm, as that would lead to a disruption in our supply of demon power. This is a strategic resource that must be secured at all costs.

Cultural Identity as a Weapon

Culturally, the human world represents the humanities, arts, and ideologies of a people and a nation. Only by possessing a strong and rich cultural foundation can a nation avoid being easily swayed or transformed by the cultures of other tribes or countries. To build such a foundation, one must possess a strong sense of identity and deep pride in one's own culture. With such an intense character, they can resist interference from foreign tribes and firmly follow our development guidelines without being controlled by other demon realms or demon clans.

We have put a great deal of effort into this aspect of the human world, providing them with rich cultural content. Whether it is ancient poetry and literature or the combination of modern Chinese culture with contemporary trends, we integrate technological development to ensure that various platforms are filled with derivative film, television, and educational materials developed from Chinese culture. This gives the Chinese people many opportunities to deeply study their profound cultural heritage, thereby strengthening their identification with our demon crowds.

As for the ethnic aspect, that is even simpler. Our focus is on deepening their identification with their own ethnic group, making them believe they belong to one big family—and that we in the demon realm are part of it. We identify with each other, believing that everyone belongs to the demon crowds, belonging to this vast family of the demon palace. By doing so, we consolidate our survival as a group and build a powerful national that cannot be disturbed or violated by foreign enemies.

This is the key to -identification of our vast demon children and grandchildren. With these four elements—national consciousness, culture, military, and economy—our demon palace never lacks resources. I have built the palace to a level that 'magnificent' cannot even begin to describe; it is a massive control headquarters. It contains many layers of space and very meticulous departmental classifications. The interior of the palace is not only golden and magnificent, but it also houses numerous training and educational institutions to train our demon children and grandchildren and new members, allowing them to quickly familiarise themselves with our demon legion and the operations of the demon palace."

In modern times, although China has endured the trials of various foreign powers and the encroachment of surrounding nations, the strength of China is not something that others or other demon palaces can easily shake. We responded rapidly, utilising various technological developments to station our talented personnel across the globe. Very quickly, we grasped the key to establishing a foothold in the new era, and in less than a few years, we saw China standing firmly at the pinnacle of the world. In particular, in areas such as technology, military, economy, education, and culture, we could be said to be at the world's summit. This is sufficient to show that China's prosperity and strength are not something anyone can shake. This is also a point of great confidence for me, Mo Shi-chu.

The Illusion of Invincibility

Regarding the changes in the spiritual realms, the most significant recent event is the of the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm performed by Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. I had been notified of this situation several years ago. However, for our massive Chinese demon palace group, and for my own team, how could this minor event possibly threaten me?

Our entire demon palace is situated in a very deep space within the Demon Realm, which is not something anyone can easily breach. Even if they were to breach it, relying on our powerful military, economic, cultural, and national strengths, combined with our profound foundation of demonic power, any opponent—no matter how strong—who entered this space would only be destined for destruction. The facts have also proven that even though Practitioner Su and his team have visited China several times, they never successfully entered the space we occupy.

A False Sense of Security

As for Practitioner Su moving on to other places to perform Chao Du for the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm, what does that have to do with me? In any case, other demon realms have their own territories. My goal as Mo Shi-chu is to ensure that the Chinese region remains an unshakable and impregnable existence. Seeing Practitioner Su shift his focus, I proudly told my demon children and grandchildren: Even the top-tier team of Practitioner Su, while carrying the power of to perform Chao Du for the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm, has not yet succeeded in entering our demon survival space. Everyone can have more confidence in themselves and believe in our military strength; there is no need to boost the morale of others while diminishing our own prestige.

Later, I heard rumours that Practitioner Su and his team were destroying immeasurable and boundless demon palaces throughout the Milky Way and the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm. It was said that under the illumination of the Twelve Lights, these palaces were destroyed. I laughed out loud upon hearing this, thinking that those demon palaces were truly careless! Such important fortresses, yet they were unwilling to invest significant demonic resources, instead always thinking of grandstanding and building magnificent, ornate palaces without focusing on practicality. When combat power is insufficient and defences are lacking, encountering external enemies will inevitably reveal their true form, presenting a weak and powerless situation. The demon palace I constructed is different. We do not just focus on image; we truly value prosperity, strength, and utility. In this regard, we have put in immense effort, drawing wisdom and experience from different eras and environments to strengthen and improve our palace, which is why we have such a massive organisation and team today, along with a powerful military structure and system. Could such a demon palace structure be destroyed in an instant, or even be left without a shred of resistance?

The Inconceivable Power of Buddha-Light

Alas, that is exactly what happened. Speaking of this, I am somewhat speechless. 'This cannot be,' I kept repeating in my heart. This massive demon palace was indeed... although not in a single instant, it was truly swept away within a few seconds. Even the deepest spaces and structures did not survive, and not even my own private, ancient demon space was spared. Haha, thinking of this, I can only smile helplessly.

But because of this, I now feel a sense of stability. I do not know if it is because I am in the Dharma-Nature Land, with the Buddha-light continuously shining upon us, or if I have suddenly become more open-minded; I do not understand it myself. I should say that I have already done my absolute best. Having built such a powerful and solid demon palace to protect the nation I have cherished for so long, only to end up in this state, I have no regrets. Faced with such powerful force—the —the entire demon palace vanished in a matter of seconds. The vast area occupied by the demon palace was illuminated by a Buddha-light that was even more expansive, deeper, and more all-encompassing. Ah! These Twelve Lights—hearing about them a hundred times is not as good as seeing them once! The power of this is truly not to be underestimated!

I saw the Buddha-light break through my layer of space, instantly determining the size of my entire demon palace, and then I saw countless manifestations rapidly spreading out, eventually covering the entire palace. The massive coverage and breakthrough caused the demon palace to rapidly disintegrate from the surface layer, until even the deepest spaces were swept clean, and all spaces were opened by the golden light. The demon palace, manifested by demonic power, simply disappeared into nothingness, leaving me not knowing how to react. The defensive counter-attack mechanisms that should have been activated did not move; they must have all failed the moment the Buddha-light shone upon them! With such powerful force, what kind of demon palace or demonic power could possibly resist?

A New Beginning in the Dharma-Nature Land

This reminds me of the natural disasters I encountered on Earth long ago. This is a natural disaster, is it not? To me, it is like the power of nature being incomparably vast, something humanity cannot resist; that is roughly the state of mind I am in. It has been a long time since I felt this way. Faced with such a stark disparity, and faced with such rapid and fierce—or rather, gentle—Buddha-light. How could this gentleness destroy the demon palace so quickly? This is truly inconceivable! Now that I am in the Dharma-Nature Land, all my demon children and grandchildren, the ancient demons, the old demons, and the key cadres have all been brought into the Dharma-Nature Land without a single one missing. It is as if my entire demon palace was transferred, and the team was transferred along with it; it looks quite amusing. I told them with a mental note: 'Since you are here, be at peace.' The saying 'the winner is the king, the loser is the bandit' is an unchanging truth since ancient times.

We have tried our best to compete, but victory and defeat are common occurrences for soldiers. Having met such a powerful opponent and been defeated, it is not actually a shameful loss. We were fully prepared and indeed dominated the Earth's demon realm space for over eight hundred billion years. Now, seeing more ancient demons and old demons in the Dharma-Nature Land who have lived even longer than I have, eight hundred billion years seems insignificant by comparison; however, for us, every bit of the painstaking effort we put into managing our demon palace was an experience we walked through with caution, and we will never easily disregard all of that.

However, this Buddha-light of such powerful energy not only destroyed our demon palace but also brought us into the Dharma-Nature Land, where it continues to shine upon us. We do not know if we will also be destroyed by it, but it seems there is no harm. Furthermore, we can feel that the intense personality and demon nature within our hearts are gradually disappearing. Ah, I understand now! It turns out that this demon nature in the heart is the true demon palace, and it is also under the influence of this Buddha-light; alas, I am powerless to resist it!

As I speak, I seem to have become even softer. This place is truly inconceivable! The Buddha-light here is so magnificent. I have actually started using the word 'magnificent'; it seems my transformation is faster than I imagined. As I accept this interview, the Dharma assembly continues, and I witness the various deep demon realm spaces in the Chinese region, as well as demon realms even deeper than my own, being breached one by one. This is truly incomparably magnificent and vast. I suppose that even if I had avoided this Chao Du, I might not have been spared the next one. I see that my demon children and grandchildren all agree, and the many ancient and old demons in the Dharma-Nature Land do not look like demons anymore. Perhaps we will become like them in the future; this might be a new transformation.

Since I cannot return to my initial state, the name 'Mo Shi-chu' and my persistence seem to have no place to be used. But there is an arrangement in the dark that will open a new journey, so let the present become a brand-new beginning. Perhaps I really should proceed to the next stage, but I hope I will not be as persistent as I was last time. After all, having roamed the demon realm for so long, the realisation I have gained is that all my grasping did not bring me peace or safety. Constantly attacking others, breaking through enemy lines, and consolidating my own power was actually a manifestation of my own insecurity. Deep down, I understand this. However, without using this method, I truly did not know how to find peace of mind; I thought about it over and over, and this was the only way. But now, through the illumination of the Buddha-light, I have another answer in my heart; let me learn more here, and perhaps my answer will become even clearer.

Let us leave it at that for now, hahaha.
