On the fourteenth day of the the Life-Heart, Living a New Life seminar and held in Yilan, offered profound guidance on the nature of our spiritual journey. This discourse serves as a gentle reminder of the essential clarity required for one to truly advance upon the path of the Buddha.
To cultivate the heart is to cultivate clarity. When you practise without the heart, you remain in darkness, devoid of clarity. True practice is not a mere external ritual; it is a profound process of self-creation that must originate from the depths of the heart. When you truly know the One—the singular focus on the path to the of Ultimate Bliss—you will naturally know how to act in accordance with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
Practice is the act of walking upon the path of purity. Though the world may appear easy to traverse, it is perpetually clouded by the dust of delusion. When you allow worldly desires to stain the heart, you are merely inviting your own disturbances. You must learn to discern between the fleeting distractions of this world and the eternal, serene stillness of your original nature. By maintaining a pure heart, you ensure that every action remains in perfect alignment with the teachings of Namo Amituofo.
Practice is the harmonious union of knowing and acting; it is the diligent, persistent work of cultivating your own inner clarity. To cultivate the heart and become an awakened being is a sacred task that you alone must undertake. No other being can walk this path on your behalf. Follow Me, and you shall discover the true, right, and pure path that leads directly to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amituofo.
