The Confession of a Primordial Demon: Controlling the Digital Age
An Interview with Mo Luo Li, a Demon of Seven Billion-Billion-Trillion Years
Recorded at the Western Dharma-Nature Land on March 22, 2026
This is a record of an interview with Mo Luo Li, a primordial demon who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the . This account reflects upon his existence spanning seven billion-billion-trillion years and his influence over the Divine Land for the past five millennia. Recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on March 22, 2026.
Mo Luo Li speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. At this very moment, I am sitting peacefully on a lotus seat within the Western -Nature Land. Strangely enough, my favourite thing to do now is to attend the Dharma assemblies and listen to Practitioner Su share the teachings of Namo Amituofo and Teacher Xia Lianju. I am also deeply fascinated by the accounts of the Chao Du work being performed for the people of mainland China—that is what interests me most of all.
When people speak of the 'Divine Land'—the Shenzhou—it sounds as if the Chinese people have simply mythologised their own territory. But let me tell you, the term 'Divine Land' is not an exaggeration in the slightest. To the physical eye, this land appears to be just an ordinary corner of the Earth, a large nation among many. However, the things that occur here, hidden from human sight, are incredibly complex and ever-changing. From the perspective of us demon crowds, everything is crystal clear. The activity of the spiritual realms here is exceptionally high—far more intense than in other nations. Naturally, this means the number of demons present is also staggering, far exceeding that of smaller countries.
The Lure of Human Civilization
A nation that has developed a rich cultural history spanning at least five thousand years naturally sees human activity that is equally enduring. Humans are the primary factor that attracts us demons. If a land were silent, devoid of life and human traces, there would be very few demons there. But when a place evolves a vibrant, multifaceted civilization—with sophisticated language, rapid technological advancement, and a booming economy—these are the very things that draw us in. What we demons love most is to control people. If human thoughts are in sync with our own, we have the means to exert control. When a society reaches a certain level of development, human thoughts become more complex and varied, and that is precisely where we demons love to congregate. I, Mo Luo Li, was drawn to this land specifically because of the rich and colourful culture of the Divine Land.
I am a powerful, primordial demon—a being of the Dharma Realm with a history of seven billion-billion-trillion years. I have seen and experienced so much. Why did this tiny planet, Earth, capture my attention? Because I have roamed the Dharma Realm for an eternity, and it is rare to encounter a world that possesses both physical bodies and such highly developed, complex thought and culture. Though Earth is small, it is complete in every way—like the saying goes, 'the sparrow may be small, but it has all the vital organs.' I arrived here about five or six thousand years ago, roughly coinciding with the dawn of Chinese history. I say 'modern history' because while humans have lived here for five millennia, it was after this five-thousand-year watershed that culture truly flourished, with tribes gathering and kingdoms forming. I arrived just in time to witness the entire history of China unfold.
A Web of Control Across Provinces
It is quite remarkable, really. Over these years, I have stumbled my way across every single province of the Divine Land. My footprint is not limited to just one area; as the borders of China shifted, expanded, and consolidated through countless wars and territorial changes, I followed. I have travelled as far as the modern-day Persian Gulf. Back then, I had no concept of 'nations'; I only knew that the place I was 'guarding' was the Divine Land. I say 'guarding'—that is a polite way of putting it. I should say that the people I controlled were located within the Divine Land. I explored those distant regions to see if there were other subjects I could control or places that might interest me, but the answer was no. The people and cultures there were not in sync with me, and perhaps our karmic connection was not deep enough, so I did not stay.
I soon returned to the heart of the Divine Land, which serves as the headquarters for my demon palace. If you look at the map today, my headquarters is located in the very centre of China: Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province. An old demon of my age does not just have one palace; I have established a presence in every province, large or small. I have stationed demon managers in each region, leading teams of local demons to 'guard' the palace and control the people of that area. It is a rather clever method of governance, is it not? People in a specific region understand their own local thoughts and behaviours best, and it is the same for those who become demons. For instance, if a person from Sichuan dies and becomes a demon, they understand Sichuan best, so they remain in the Sichuan demon palace to continue guarding and controlling the people there. It is all quite logical, in a twisted way.
The Terrifying Truth of Our Influence
Of course, as I say this now, it sounds rather strange. Yes, all of this is completely contrary to the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. But back then, knowing nothing of the Buddha’s teachings and having no understanding of the Truth, I actually viewed this as perfect and reasonable. It seemed only natural that humans should be controlled by demons, and that spirits should naturally become demons to rule over mankind. Thinking back on it now, it is absolutely terrifying! Absolutely terrifying!
To be honest, I am a demon with a very modern mindset; I am always able to keep up with the times. Even though Chinese history spans five thousand years, I have always been able to quickly grasp the interests, hobbies, and tastes of the younger generation. I know exactly what is trending, and I target them accordingly. I prefer to control young people and children; it is what I am best at. My 'demon children and grandchildren' and I are the same—we operate mostly in schools and on the internet, as that is where the youth are most frequently found.
The Digital Hunting Ground
I have controlled the Chinese people for so many years, and I understand the thoughts of the younger generation very well. But I must be honest: the youth of the last few decades—and especially the last ten years—are the easiest to control out of everyone I have encountered in five thousand years. Why is that? Because in ancient times, children were taught to be dutiful. Most children were exposed to the teachings of sages from a young age; they understood the philosophy of Confucius and Mencius and the basic moral foundations of being a human. It was genuinely difficult for me to get a grip on them.
Even the children of farmers or commoners, who lived simple lives and worked the fields or fished, had few complex emotions or desires. They lived diligent, honest lives, married, had children, and passed away. We could not strike hard against such children. Throughout history, there were very few young people we could truly control—mostly the spoiled children of wealthy families or those with influential parents. Even then, we had to wait for them to show even the slightest moral deviation before we could seize an opportunity. It was nothing like controlling the children of today.
Now, look at the world, and look at China. Every child has a computer or a smartphone. So many children and teenagers spend their time browsing the internet, social media, and various games. These are the perfect places for us demons to congregate. They do not realise that while these platforms may look practical, they are actually causing immense damage to their thoughts, cultural cultivation, and even their personal ego and selfishness.
The internet world develops at a breakneck speed, and everything is in constant flux. The faster things move, the more we demons love to control them. Children and teenagers today have thoughts that are faster and more chaotic than ever. They are driven by selfishness, putting their own interests above all else. Under the influence of such thinking, they pour all their energy into the internet. For us demons, taking advantage of this vulnerability is simply too easy. In the past, if we could easily control one out of ten children, today, I would say more than nine out of ten are easily within our grasp. The contrast is staggering. I am telling you the absolute truth!
This is a vicious cycle. The internet world attracts many demons to explore it, and many of us simply stay there, wandering the vast digital space and creating opportunities for these young people to linger on our pages. The longer they stay, the deeper they are controlled. When a child is controlled, many demons who love the internet also enter their bodies, manipulating them to click on various websites to satisfy their fleeting cravings and desires."
Namo Amituofo.
Therefore, the demons already present in the internet space, combined with the demons that cater to the children's craving for pleasure, work together from both inside and out. Can you blame any child for wanting to wander through the world of the internet? To say they wouldn't like it is impossible! Both sides are in perfect sync, working in tandem, with the inner and outer worlds reflecting one another. Controlling them is, quite frankly, far too easy for us.
The Art of Reading the
Furthermore, what we demons excel at most is reading the information stored within the Alaya of children and teenagers. We are incredibly fast. When many children are present, we can scan the traces and seeds planted in their Alaya consciousness in every aspect with a single glance. This allows us to quickly identify their deepest interests and hobbies, which we then use to exert our control over them.
Most children have a profound interest in computer technology and mobile phones, which allows us to easily seize upon their weaknesses. Even in the absence of the internet, mobile phones, or tablets, the obsession with the online world and various memories and delusions will involuntarily surface in their minds. This is precisely why children today so frequently enter these digital spaces.
The Shock of Realisation
When Practitioner Su used the term entering the space, I was truly shaken. I had never realised that the primary culprits behind children entering these spaces were actually us demons—especially the internet demons, technology demons, and mobile phone demons.
Having said so much, I must finally mention the person I, Moluoli, have come to admire most in recent days: Practitioner Su of the human world. I have spoken at length, yet I have not even had the chance to introduce Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su properly.
The Great Vow of Deliverance
The reason I, Moluoli, am now in this dignified and pure Western Land of Dharma Nature is entirely due to the Great Vow of Practitioner Su. He attained Buddhahood in the human world, and together with Namo Amituofo, he uses his countless manifestations and the Twelve Lights of to conduct vast Chao Du across the entire land of China.
This so-called Chao Du is the act of radiating immense light, bringing all beings who have karmic affinity—and all those willing to enter the light—directly into that radiance, leading them to this incredibly precious Buddha-land. Of course, many beings, in their confusion and ignorance of the situation, are also brought here. Whether one is sent here or not depends on one's own Causal Conditions and . Yet, Practitioner Su does not abandon a single soul. He continuously radiates light across every province, county, town, and even every street, planting Vajra Seeds in every inch of the land of China. Such an earth-shattering feat is something I, Moluoli, never even imagined could happen.
From Demon Palace to Pure Land
I have stayed here for such a long time, thinking I had seen everything and experienced everything, and that nothing could possibly shock me. Yet, not long ago—perhaps a day or two, I cannot even be sure—in a very short span of time, while I was in my demon palace in Wuhan, I was suddenly swept away by this light and brought to the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Looking back, my demon palace was gone, and my demon children and grandchildren were gone too. They did not disappear; they had actually come to the Western Land of Dharma Nature along with me. As for the demon palace, it was simply razed to the ground, leaving not a single trace behind. I felt absolutely no regret or frustration over this. I know that light has always symbolised the beautiful, the Good, and the pure. Although I lived in the Demon Realm, I was still a demon who harboured a longing for the light. Even though there was never light in the world of demons, I knew that light was good and virtuous. Perhaps this was due to my karmic affinity from past lives, which allowed me such a deep understanding and feeling. That is why I have adapted so well here and am progressing so rapidly.
Now, as I sit upon my lotus seat, my heart is filled with gratitude. I also know that my future destination will surely be an even better place: the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss—a Buddha-land that is even more radiant and pure.
A Heavy Burden of Sins
Yet, looking back at everything that has happened in the land of China, I cannot help but feel deeply moved. The negative I have created is so profound. My demon palaces spanned every province in China; many have already been razed by Practitioner Su, while many more have yet to be discovered by him. Regardless, I must strive even harder to counsel my demon children and grandchildren to take the initiative and surrender to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Center.
I do not know how to repay the sins I have committed over these thousands of years, but I suspect that the sins of these past few millennia are not even as heavy as those I have created in the last ten or twenty years.
The world of the internet is no joke. Once a person becomes addicted and unable to extricate themselves, the influence it has on the lives of children and teenagers is profound and immense.
The Control of Souls
Practitioner Su often says during his Dharma talks that the children of today are not truly themselves. Of course, with the existence of us internet demons, technology demons, and mobile phone demons, which child could possibly escape such a trap? Even if they are not addicted, we will still lead them into it. Even if they only use it without being obsessed, the influence created is already immense. They will enter the space, their souls locked away, entirely under my control—the control of Moluoli.
Unless it is in a very remote village or mountain area where there is absolutely no internet, the children there have pure characters and bright eyes, which is truly different from children raised in the city. Unfortunately, with the rapid economic development in mainland China, such places are few and far between. If you were to ask me, Moluoli, to find such a place, I could not name one off the top of my head.
I believe such children must exist; they are the best candidates for what Practitioner Su calls an awakened being. If they were free from this thick layer of internet technology pollution, combined with their upright character and kind, honest nature, then achieving the state of an awakened being would truly be an easy matter.
A Plea for Redemption
Alas, as I, Moluoli, look back on everything that has occurred, I truly feel nothing but repenting, repenting, and more repenting. Saying more words of repenting seems futile, as if it has no real effect. The wood is already carved into a boat; there is truly little I can do now. I sincerely hope that Practitioner Su can give me a chance to change my ways and move toward Goodness.
I am telling my story to advise all the demons in the world, as well as my demon children and grandchildren in mainland China: please, stop controlling people. Whether it is a large-scale or small-scale control, the laws of karma and cause and effect are burdens you can never fully carry. So many children have been ruined by a single thought of our evil. As a member of a vast demon group and an old demon of the technology world, I have a great responsibility to rectify all of this.
A New Path Forward
Now that I have been reborn, there is so much I want to do: first, I want to continuously transmit thoughts of Goodness to the children. Second, I want to do many things that demons would not do, things that only a Buddha would do. Regarding such matters, I can only speak out as a being of the spiritual realms and as a leader of the Demon Realm. Perhaps people will be more likely to believe and understand, as I have been quite direct and there is nothing difficult to grasp.
I will honestly confess what I must repent for: we control the internet world, not only by manipulating people to produce pleasure but also by controlling all the information content within it. This information content will not disappear in the internet world; it will continue to exist in the human world. As long as this stuff continues to exist, whether it be ten, a hundred, a thousand, or even ten thousand years from now, if it is still there, my sins will truly be impossible to wash away. Even if I were to wash them in the waters of the Yellow River and the Yangtze River, I fear my sins would still remain.
Final Reflections
Well, I, Moluoli, will stop here for today. I see that time is running short. I had better share my final thoughts on arriving at the Western Land of Dharma Nature. I will speak quickly, lest the Dharma assembly begins and I fail to deliver this manuscript to Practitioner Su, which would be a disaster.
Watching Practitioner Su conduct the Chao Du using the Twelve Lights of Amitabha Buddha from the Western Land of Dharma Nature, my demon children and grandchildren and I were moved to tears; we were deeply touched. As the demon palaces were destroyed one by one, we applauded vigorously and chanted the Buddha's name loudly to express our congratulations. This is completely different from our previous temperament. In the past, we worked hard to build demon palaces and celebrated with for the completion of each one. Yet this time, we found ourselves feeling happy on the Western Land of Dharma Nature for the destruction of those very palaces.
Haha, this sounds truly contradictory, but this is the nature of the two sides of the same coin between Buddha and demon. I was a demon before, and although I am still called Moluoli, my heart is now that of a demon who shares the same heart and vows as the Buddha. The speed of purification here is truly astonishing. Once the Buddha-light shines upon us, our hearts can immediately turn from evil to Goodness, from delusion to . This is the power brought by Namo Amituofo and the bestowed upon us by Practitioner Su.
My demon children and grandchildren and I have been continuously bowing and paying homage to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. We are grateful for your salvation. We can finally stop our life in the Demon Realm, stop creating all these sins, and turn over a new leaf to do something for the people of the world. Well, time is indeed very tight today, so I will stop here. Thank you all.
