The Confession of Master Wei Chueh
The Seventh Letter of the Late Master Wei Chueh
Recorded on June 13, 2017
This account was recorded on June 13, 2017. The late Master Wei Chueh, who once served as the leader of the Chung Tai world, sought deliverance through the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. He now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and shares this message to reflect upon his past and offer guidance to his followers.
Master Wei Chueh speaks:
"To be self-righteous and think only of oneself makes it difficult to achieve anything. I am Wei Chueh, the former Grand Master of Chung Tai, the one who once led the Chung Tai world. Though I have passed away, I am still able to speak. In truth, I never imagined I would have such an opportunity to reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. When I was alive, deep down, I had a vague awareness that it would be difficult for me to reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, but I never spoke of it. The final stage of my life was spent in great pain. I could not express my true because my actions had already changed beyond recognition. However, those around me were all walking the same path as I was, so they could not perceive the true changes within me. I was no longer the original Wei Chueh. My transformation was so subtle that even I, at that time, could not feel it. In the end, I was no longer myself at all. My body had become a mere shell; my soul was no longer operating within it. The entity that replaced me—you certainly could not imagine it—was from the Demon Realm.
The Subtle Descent into Mara
The Demon Realm sounds terrifying, but in reality, it is not necessarily what you imagine. To not listen to the words of the Buddha is to be a demon. When my body began to collapse, that was a manifestation of my errors. In the deepest recesses of my heart, I harboured a secret that no one knew: jealousy. Do not be fooled by my quiet, silent exterior; in my heart, I was thinking things that were not fit to be spoken, for they were all negative thoughts. I was a Grand Master, yet my mind-capacity was not vast enough. Furthermore, I possessed such a vast territory—the Chung Tai world. Greed caused me to fail in everything, and I failed completely. I was greedy for far too many things. Because of this, I fell into the hells. If it were not for the of this place that saved me, I would still be there. The state I was in when I first arrived—I have already described it in my previous letters. These are all true words.
A Plea for the Chung Tai World
My request as Wei Chueh is not great; I only hope that everyone can believe that I, Wei Chueh, am now in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Now that I finally have the opportunity to descend and speak, I want the Chung Tai world to change. Look, even now, my old habits have not fully changed—I still referred to it as 'my' Chung Tai world. It is not mine; it belongs to the ten directions! For this subtle attachment alone, I must undergo retribution. Do the fourfold assembly of disciples understand this? Even the most minute behaviour or thought can be terrifying. If the Chung Tai world continues to refuse to face the words of Wei Chueh, what will become of its future?
The Urgency of the
If you are promoting incorrect ideas, you must know that these letters are truly authentic. You must understand that the messages from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss are the will of the Buddha; they are the Great Dharma. To obstruct the Dharma is a terrifying thing! Think thrice before you act. I, Wei Chueh, will continue to wait. Even the smallest force can achieve great merit. As long as you resolve to come and see me to verify all of this, change will no longer be a problem. I, Wei Chueh, await you."
