This is a record of an interview with a Primordial Demon known as the Demon False Head, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the . This account reflects upon his existence spanning nine hundred trillion years and his attempt to attack Practitioner Su. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa, on October 7, 2024.

Demon False Head speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. In the immeasurable and boundless Realm, every single being possesses a unique temperament. I have seen this very clearly throughout my long existence in the Dharma Realm. I, the Demon False Head, have always been a straightforward being. I do not like to beat around the bush, and I have always held those who scheme and plot in contempt.

I entered the Demon Realm long ago because of my intense personality. I have always been one to champion the underdog, and I am easily offended by what I perceive as injustice. When I see something I dislike, I show no mercy. My personality is one that fears nothing—not heaven, nor earth. Because of this, I led my demon children and grandchildren to charge into various territories, conquering many lands along the way.

A Palace of Trophies

When I felt satisfied with my conquests, I would retreat to the rear, watching my demon children and grandchildren develop their own power. I spent my time indulging in pleasures within my demon palace. Every piece of furniture and decoration in my palace was chosen according to my own peculiar tastes. I have always been fascinated by the skeletal structure of things, particularly the raw, bony feel of fish bones. Consequently, my entire palace was filled with a vast collection of bones of all shapes and sizes, which I had scavenged from various planets. Each bone was a testament to my military achievements.

Whenever I picked up a bone to examine it, I could recount its origin—which planet it came from and how much time I had spent conquering it. Each bone still retained the distinct scent and magnetic field of its home planet. Having spent nine hundred trillion years in the Dharma Realm, I have witnessed countless events. I once led demon crowds to charge into every corner of the realm; I understood the movements of the Dharma Realm better than anyone. Therefore, whenever a major event occurred, I was the first to notice.

The Light That Pierced the Darkness

Every so often, my demon children and grandchildren would report the situation in the Dharma Realm to me. Although I am technically in a state of semi-retirement, I have a habit of wanting to control everything. It is a flaw I have never been able to shake. Several of my demon children and grandchildren had come to me, claiming that a brilliant light had appeared in the Dharma Realm. This light pierced through the entire realm, illuminating every space it touched, and the energy was so constant that the spaces themselves began to glow. Many of my demon children and grandchildren even remarked that only someone with profound cultivation could achieve such a state. To think that even my own demon children and grandchildren were praising this power!

I heard that the leader of this force was called Practitioner Su. Seeing the word 'Buddha' in his title, it was clear he was a being of the Buddha, and thus, he must be incompatible with us demons. Since ancient times, it has been said that 'Buddha and demon cannot coexist.' I heard that this power was sweeping through various places, and that a significant number of demons had already been 'saved.' The phrase 'saved' sounded incredibly grating to my ears. We demons possess profound demonic power; why would we ever need to rely on a Buddha? I could not understand, nor could I accept, what those demons who had been saved—or who had surrendered—were thinking.

The Decision to Attack

Thinking about this, I felt I could not sit idly by. Even if Practitioner Su’s power was great, he must have weaknesses. If I attacked his weak points, I did not believe he could continue to run rampant through the Dharma Realm. Since Practitioner Su’s power was so formidable, I decided to show him 'respect' by leading a massive demon army to attack him. By my count, I brought demon crowds from twenty-five Earths.

I heard that Practitioner Su resided on Earth, surrounded by a massive golden light—the very light that was shining into the Dharma Realm. After understanding this, I decided that my primary goal would be to completely cover this golden light. I intended to transform this golden light into darkness, replacing it with the dark light of the demon. If I could succeed in this, I would become the one who could speak with authority throughout the Dharma Realm. Since becoming a demon, I have seen many realms, and although I have had my share of successes and failures, I approached this mission with absolute confidence.

The Failed Siege

I instilled this same confidence in my demon children and grandchildren. I told them that if we succeeded, we would gain vast new territories to divide among ourselves. They would even have the chance to rise from being mere demon children and grandchildren to becoming Demon Kings. Hearing this, every one of them became eager to prove themselves. Once prepared, we marched in force toward the place where Practitioner Su resided. As we approached, we saw the golden light and felt the energy it radiated. I commanded my demon children and grandchildren to use our demonic power to smother it.

When we began to unleash our power, attempting to forcefully cover the golden light, we discovered that the moment our demonic energy touched the light, it either rebounded or simply vanished. We had intended to blanket the entire area in darkness, but our efforts were completely ineffective. I found this result impossible to accept. To me, this was a crisis I had never encountered before, and I knew I had to make an immediate decision on our next move.

Targeting the Throat

When our vanguard troops failed repeatedly, we decided to launch a direct assault on Practitioner Su himself. Thus, the demon crowds from twenty-five Earths locked their focus onto him. My demon children and grandchildren suggested, 'Old Demon, Practitioner Su has always been chanting the Buddha-name, using the sound of the Buddha-name to traverse the Dharma Realm and save the demon crowds. Since that is the case, why don't we attack Practitioner Su’s throat? If we stop him from chanting, let’s see what power he has left to transmit into the Dharma Realm.' I shouted loudly, 'A brilliant suggestion! It is decided. Attack his throat!' I wanted to see what other tricks he could pull.

Leading a massive force of darkness, we launched a direct and powerful interference against Practitioner Su’s throat. Every demon crowd involved used their maximum demonic power. As we attacked, we noticed that Practitioner Su was indeed finding it harder to produce sound, and he even began to cough. We were incredibly arrogant, believing our plan was nearing success. Beyond Practitioner Su, we also attacked the fourfold assembly of disciples he led, intending to wipe out this so-called power of the Buddha entirely. Attacking the fourfold assembly was, frankly, too simple. We saw that every one of Practitioner Su’s disciples carried a trace of demon nature. We only needed to tug at their thoughts, and their demon nature would immediately be drawn out. The fastest way was to make them harbour evil thoughts, to make them feel dissatisfied, to make them angry. These tiny threads of connection allowed us to keep a tight grip on the fourfold assembly, causing them to appear drowsy and unable to master their own minds. We wanted Practitioner Su to see them and feel a sense of frustration. Once Practitioner Su felt frustration, we would have him.

Transformation in the Golden Light

At the same time, the demon crowds from twenty-five Earths continued to intensify our attack on Practitioner Su. We kept at it, believing this was a magnificent start. But to our shock, in just a single instant, we were completely engulfed by the power of the golden light. Within that light, we had no time to struggle; our space was instantly transformed. When I regained , I was surrounded by golden light. My demon crowds from twenty-five Earths, along with those who had been attacking the fourfold assembly, had all been brought in. Within the golden light, I saw Namo Amituofo. The light of Namo Amituofo was vast and infinite. Only then did I realise the true reason our demonic power could not resist the golden light: it was created by the great and Ultimate Vow of Namo Amituofo. Practitioner Su’s vow power was aligned with that of Namo Amituofo, which is why this golden light existed.

After entering the Dharma-Nature Land, I was changed by the power of compassion. This compassionate force transformed the hardness in my temperament into softness, and it broadened my horizons in ways I had never imagined. I had never thought I would have the opportunity for such a transformation. On the Dharma-Nature Land, I witnessed Practitioner Su performing Chao Du. His permeated the Ten Directions of the Dharma Realm without the slightest obstruction, and wherever his vow power reached, everything was purified. The magnetic field after purification was truly magnificent, devoid of even a trace of evil.

A New Beginning

Because of the dissolution caused by this golden light, immeasurable and boundless spirits were liberated from their spaces. Practitioner Su’s Dharma Body moved with incredible speed, piercing through every crevice, illuminating countless demon palaces and demon dens, and saving an uncountable number of demon crowds. My own demon palace, filled with my fish-bone trophies, was also purified in the process. I saw the demon crowds, who had initially fled in resentment, eventually turn calm and peaceful. This was all the purification of the Buddha’s power. Throughout the Dharma Realm, ancient demons and primordial demons who had existed for such a long time were able to change because of these Causal Conditions. I saw that the scene of Chao Du transcended the distinctions of time and space, and I finally understood the Buddha’s compassion for all beings. I am so grateful to Practitioner Su for bringing this compassionate power into the Dharma Realm. Now, the entire Dharma Realm is changing.

Although Practitioner Su’s physical body still endures many attacks, and the power of those attacks is not insignificant, he continues to perform Chao Du without a single thought of self. Many demon crowds, seeing Practitioner Su’s great cultivation, have become willing to surrender. They realise that their past was too heavy and that they have no other path, so they have all come to surrender. I am so grateful for Practitioner Su’s heart for all beings. I am grateful for Namo Amituofo’s abiding presence and for his receiving beings. Now, the Dharma Realm is so bright. So many beings are filled with gratitude. Namo Amituofo."
