The Great Mission of Chanting Namo Amituofo Around the Earth

The Necessity of Great Wisdom and Compassion

Those who undertake great missions in this world must possess profound wisdom, a vast mind-capacity, and a heart overflowing with compassion. Only by aligning these qualities can one walk the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way without deviation. When one possesses such good roots, one will naturally receive support from all directions, leading to positive transformations. In these challenging times, Practitioner Su has realised his true nature and is responding to the needs of the world. He observes that the moral standards of society are in decline, and the hearts of people are no longer as pure as they once were. We see many strange phenomena manifesting today, ranging from large-scale environmental mutations to the subtle changes in the behaviour and character of individuals and families. Furthermore, the excessive reliance on and misuse of modern technology have created a situation where most people, and even many practitioners, feel powerless to change the greater environment. They can only make small adjustments within their limited circumstances and capabilities. It is essential that our thoughts and actions remain free from deviation; otherwise, we will simply be marking time or drifting further away, ultimately suffering harm rather than receiving benefit. Practitioners, in particular, must be extremely cautious, for even a slight deviation in one's thoughts can lead to the retribution of the hells.

The Root of Our Global Illness

Those who are selfish, narrow-minded, and focused only on short-term gains can only see their own immediate interests. In contrast, those who are selfless, possess a vast mind-capacity, and maintain a long-term vision are the only ones capable of perceiving the fundamental problems facing our universe, our Earth, and our environment. They are the ones who can address these issues at their very root. Only the Buddhas, those who have realised their true nature, and the truly wise possess this capability. Today, our Earth and the hearts of its people are ill. The physical body of the Earth itself is suffering, forcing the nations and peoples of the world to pay a heavy price to confront these pathological problems. Consider the current pandemic: air travel has been suspended, and nations have become isolated from one another. This has caused significant damage to national economies, tourism, and countless other sectors, yet the world remains largely helpless. This is the reality of our current situation.

A Global Resonance of Namo Amituofo

When Practitioner Su performs the work of Chao Du through his Dharma Body, he perceives that the Earth has shifted from its proper orbit. He understands that these strange phenomena are deeply connected to this orbital deviation. With his clear insight, Practitioner Su knows that the most fundamental way to counteract evil thoughts is to generate thoughts of Goodness. The root of the human heart is currently damaged, and entire nations have deviated from the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Because people think evil, speak evil, and do evil, they attract evil events and the current pandemic. Therefore, under the blessings of the Buddha, Practitioner Su has done his utmost to work with his salvation team to spread the message of growing roots of goodness and achieving the fruit of Bodhi within the hearts of all people. He hopes to help the people of the Earth generate kind hearts and good thoughts, allowing the Earth to return to its proper orbit.

It is through this effort that we have been able to invite the following beings to participate in a twenty-four-hour, uninterrupted cycle of chanting the name of Namo Amituofo, orbiting the Earth: Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, the Pure and Vast Ocean of Beings, the ancestral masters and venerable masters, and countless spirits who have been saved by Practitioner Su and reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. The Buddha-name is chanted with the utmost sincerity from the heart of every participant. It is uniform, resonant, and spreads across every corner of the Earth, reaching into the vastness of the Dharma Realm. Our collective intention is to use the great vow, the great Goodness, and the great majestic power of Namo Amituofo to transform the Earth's state of deviation. We hope to return the Earth to its proper rotation and restore its magnetic field to a state of positive energy, thereby changing the current circumstances that are beyond human power to alter.

The Magnificent Power of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre

The entire scene of this chanting is magnificent and deeply moving. Never before have we witnessed a situation where the great Bodhisattvas of the Western Pure Land and so many virtuous beings have been invited to assist in such a grand and vast manner. It is truly inconceivable. This is only possible because Namo Amituofo truly abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, a bodhimanda of the True Teachings. Such magnificent conduct is a testament to this fact. As Practitioner Su has stated, this pandemic and the droughts in Australia can only be resolved by Namo Amituofo. Although Practitioner Su has repeatedly appealed for this during his lectures, people often lack the fortune to believe, or find it difficult to believe, and he has yet to receive a response from the leaders of various nations. While the pandemic remains unresolved and air travel has not yet fully recovered, we are currently using this method, starting from the transformation of invisible spirits. Practitioner Su often reminds and admonishes the public, especially the venerable masters and virtuous ones at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, that we must rely on ourselves rather than others. In this matter, Practitioner Su has provided the best example through his own conduct and teachings. By using his own self-power and great compassionate power to lead everyone, he has earned the praise of Skanda Bodhisattva, the Dharma-protecting Bodhisattvas, the ancestral masters, and even the members of the salvation team. This is why everyone is so dedicated and wholehearted in their chanting and participation.

A Call to Awaken and Serve

During the Thrice Yearning Ceremony yesterday, the sound of the Buddha-name, which was already orbiting the Earth, was joined by the voices of the venerable masters and virtuous ones at the temple. Through Practitioner Su's visualisation and guidance, this grand sound was infused with many pure and compassionate vows. The Buddha-name and the Buddha-power emitted from this collective effort provided an opportunity for all the venerable masters and virtuous ones to join in this magnificent event of helping the Earth return to its proper rotation. The merit of this is immeasurable. This is the current state of Practitioner Su's work of Chao Du through his Dharma Body.

Even now, Practitioner Su continues to invite and resolve the conflicts of the attached spirits that he has been working to save over the past twenty or thirty years—spirits that have not yet gone to the Western Pure Land. He has accumulated so many of these beings, particularly in his head, back, and left leg, and his body has suffered visible harm. Yet, this has not in the slightest affected his mission to save the world and its beings. If this heart were not the Buddha-heart, it would be difficult to carry out such a task. The venerable masters and virtuous ones at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, having witnessed and experienced this process, should be even more determined to step forward alongside Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. The future of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre requires everyone to let go of personal issues, break through the difficulties in their practice, and realise their true nature as soon as possible. With practical action, we must work hand in hand to save more beings, helping them leave suffering behind and find rebirth in the Western Pure Land. Namo Amituofo.
