Rectifying Body and Mind

The dust of worldly affairs often settles deep within our hearts, clouding the clarity of our original nature. When we look at the connections we make in this life, we find that point after point, link after link, we are merely adding more layers of impurity to our . You may wonder why, as you walk through this human world, you so often feel that you cannot grasp the true meaning of existence. The reason is that your heart has long harboured too many thoughts that are not aligned with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Even a single, subtle, and incorrect thought can sprout into a complex web of attachments. Often, you do not even realise that you are following these wayward thoughts, yet you are already acting in ways that create further , causing your life to shift and change in ways that lead you further from the Truth.
Child, you must learn to recognise these non-virtuous thoughts for what they are. Do not allow them to take root at the wrong time, and certainly, do not allow yourself to be led astray by them. Your heart should be radiant at all times, filled with the natural ease, generosity, and of one who is truly free. Do not add any more negative, incorrect intentions to your mind. True happiness does not come from chasing external appearances or seeking satisfaction in the material world. Instead, it arises from the sincerity that dwells within your own heart.
I am in the of Ultimate Bliss, yet I am also right here, beside each of you. If your heart can become like the heart of the Buddha, then your actions will possess the same immense power as the Buddha’s. You must be willing to release the layers of shackles that bind your heart. I see that your hearts are filled with too much pain and suffering. If you are truly willing to be liberated, then you must let go of these burdens right now. In the grand scheme of the universe, worldly matters are ultimately empty. Be like a child who has nothing to worry about—be at ease, be happy, and be generous. You must have the mind-capacity to achieve your own liberation, for in doing so, you are not only saving yourself but also helping all other beings.
To return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, you must first learn how to grow. The power for this growth must be found within your own heart. Once your heart is nourished with this strength, you should be prepared to face reality. The heart of the human world is often an illusion, a facade of hypocrisy. You should face the truth directly. Become a true practitioner who knows how to use the heart effectively. You must learn to use your heart with total sincerity, yet remain unattached to the outcome. This is the art of using the heart without having a heart. Very soon, everything will become natural, and you will be able to find your true self and see your true nature. To heal yourself, you must first settle your mind and see yourself clearly. As long as there are still large and small problems lingering in your heart, you have not yet truly begun your practice. .
