Recorded on 7 May 2017 at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre
The Healing Power of the Sacred Name
On the morning of 7 May 2017, the disciple Shi Faxi respectfully invited Namo Amituofo to provide guidance. During the morning practice, Practitioner Su had perceived a compassionate message from Namo Amituofo. The message conveyed that the six-syllable name—Namo Amituofo—possesses the power to enable all beings in the fourfold assembly to visualise their detaching from their physical bodies. As , mind, and spirit relax, this practice facilitates profound healing. We humbly request that Namo Amituofo provide His compassionate teachings on this matter.
The Compassionate Response of the Buddha
It is truly wondrous that the Buddha responds to the needs of the world, working tirelessly to save infinite suffering beings. The current era is different from the past, and traditional methods of cultivation are often difficult for people to follow. Therefore, this new approach is even more vital and can be spread more widely. This practice serves to heal the suffering within the heart, heal the illnesses within the body, provide a cure for sickness, and bring an end to physical ailments.
The capacity to welcome and save suffering spirits is immeasurable and boundless. The time is urgent, and the conditions are pressing; I hope my children will awaken early. This method is provided to help you find peace of mind. All the countless beings who come here can be saved.
The Wisdom of Practitioner Su
Practitioner Su possesses the wisdom to perform in a skilful way, allowing beings to leave their suffering behind and find in their hearts. In truth, the suffering of beings lies in the long-standing attachments of the mind. When the mind attains peace and stability, suffering naturally ceases.

Its power is inconceivable, creating a peaceful and auspicious magnetic field that brings the body and mind into a state of tranquil stillness. When you chant the name with , joy, and , your body, mind, and spirit open up. How could there be any suffering left?

Once you cut off the causes and leave them behind, the illness will naturally vanish. What is the prescription? It is the Buddha-name.
The Mission of the Temple
This magnificent event is manifesting in the world to awaken many children. The practitioner must provide actual proof and demonstrate the reality of this practice to benefit those who come and to promote it further. The promotion of this method is not for oneself, but to spread the light. When you promote it without any thought of self, the merit becomes immeasurable. It is a matter of doing your utmost to perform Chao Du, transcending all obstacles and the vines of suffering that appear before you.
The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre has an urgent need to perform Chao Du for a vast number of beings, allowing conditions to ripen. By perfecting these conditions, the temple will flourish. The primary duty of the temple at this time is to perform Chao Du for all beings in the Dharma realm of emptiness, allowing their conditions to open and spread throughout the ten directions. The future magnificence of this temple will be beyond measure, unlike anything ever seen in the human world. How could one encounter such conditions in the human world if not for the Western Pure Land?
A single recitation of the six-syllable name can perform Chao Du for the fifty trillion cells of the body. This number is merely a representation; in truth, the number is immeasurable. It vibrates through every inch of your flesh and every piece of your bone, allowing immeasurable good roots to emerge. If you have no good thoughts, stop your evil thoughts; if you have no evil thoughts, arise thoughts of compassion. Align your heart and vows with the Buddha to save the greater whole. The media is needed to spread this to the ten directions. First, we must have an important method of promotion, and only by taking steady steps can we be secure.
The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia will have an inconceivable future. All of you hold important positions. You must be mindful and never become lax. If you protect and uphold this with all your heart, the merit will be immeasurable. Sentient beings will be widely saved, and the Buddha’s teachings will be transmitted anew.
