The Journey of Chen Zijing to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss
An Interview with the Spirit of Chen Zijing

Chen Zijing speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Chen Zijing, and at this moment, my heart is overflowing with emotion—a thousand are surging within me all at once. All the worries and insecurities that once plagued me have been completely swept away. There is nothing left but infinite gratitude, and then, even more gratitude!
For quite some time, I have resided in the -Nature Land of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I have participated in many , watching as Practitioner Su invited many spirits of family members—those whose living relatives sought Chao Du—to the Dharma-Nature Land. I watched as Practitioner Su saved them, one by one.
Witnessing the Deliverance of Others
From my place in the Dharma-Nature Land, I could see them being called by name by Practitioner Su. They would arrive at the very front of the site of the ceremony, and then, amidst the chanting of the assembly, Practitioner Su would lead them into the golden light. But today, it was truly my turn to be the protagonist. I have been led by the of Practitioner Su into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. It is truly beyond my imagination that the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, which lies beyond that golden light, is so magnificent—and so incredibly close to the temple!
Today, there were nine of us led into the Western Land by Practitioner Su. With one of Practitioner Su’s manifestations, each of us was guided, and in the blink of an eye, we passed through the golden light and arrived here in the West. It felt as though I had only blinked, and the world before my eyes had transformed. What a bright, luminous, and beautiful world this is!
A Message of Gratitude to My Son-in-Law
Fandong, I want to thank you. I am so happy that you remembered to help your father-in-law with the Chao Du. No matter how your name may have changed, you remain the wonderful son-in-law in my heart. For these past days, I have been waiting. That is why, when the temple asked me if I wanted to go to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I did not immediately agree. My heart was waiting—waiting for you to come and send me off on this final journey. I want to tell you all: I have not died.
I was once a wandering spirit. One day, a beam of golden light brought me to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. I was saved by Practitioner Su, and I spent a wonderful time living in the Dharma-Nature Land of the temple. That is one of the reasons I did not want to leave the temple earlier. In the Dharma-Nature Land, there is no darkness, and we do not count the passing of days, so I do not even know how much time has passed. I would listen to Practitioner Su give Dharma talks, and now I chant Namo Amituofo along with everyone else. I would even recite a few lines of the sutras during the Dharma assembly. Such a beautiful life is something that no one in the human world could ever imagine. And now, to think that I have arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss—it is even brighter, more luminous, and more beautiful than the Dharma-Nature Land!
Facing the Truth of Impermanence
Fandong, no matter what your physical body may be going through now, remember that birth, old age, sickness, and death are simply the natural processes of life. Since you have encountered these things, you must face them with courage. You must believe that Namo Amituofo exists, and you must believe that Practitioner Su is truly saving everyone. Although the physical body may die, the spirit does not. It can be saved and delivered to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is your father-in-law’s personal experience.
Once again, I offer my deepest gratitude to Namo Amituofo, to Practitioner Su, and to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and everyone there. Most of all, I want to thank you, Fandong. Namo Amituofo."
