He sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia and now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his transition and his message to his family. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Faxin, on October 26, 2024.

Lay Practitioner Li Zhongting speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I never imagined that I could feel as carefree and liberated as I do right now. My entire body feels incredibly light, as if a heavy burden that I had carried for lifetimes has finally been lifted. Today is the day I decided to fully embrace my arrival in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. When I first arrived in this magnificent realm, I saw the Buddha. I prostrated before Him with the deepest respect and reverence. I even made sure to wear a suit, as I wanted to show my utmost respect to the Buddha, and He simply smiled at me, a smile that never seemed to fade.

A Weightless Freedom in the Pure Land

Right now, I feel a sense of ease that is beyond words. In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, everything is exactly as you wish it to be. If I want to be among the trees, I am there instantly. If I wish to touch the cool, refreshing water of a stream, I can do so the very moment the thought arises. Think about it—I am truly the most fortunate being. My life here is infinitely better than any day I ever spent in the human world.

Since arriving in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have been completely freed from the attachments of my past. I no longer suffer from the physical ailments that once plagued my body, nor do I have to endure the roller coaster of positive and negative emotions that defined my human existence. My entire being is radiant and bright, and because of this, everything I perceive is filled with goodness and purity.

The End of Samsara and Karmic Debt

I am so deeply grateful for the Causal Conditions of the Chao Du that allowed me to be saved. It is this grace that has enabled me to achieve liberation from the cycle of rebirth and to no longer be pursued by my . When I look back at those days when my spirit was suffering, I feel a shiver of fear. It was a time of settling the debts I had accumulated in the past—debts that had to be repaid, for there was no other way. But now, all of that is in the past. I am finally with the Buddha, and my heart is overflowing with immense gratitude.

My children, are you all doing well? I have been away from the human world for quite some time now. I know that each of you has your own path and your own challenges. Are you all living well? I want to tell you this: there is no need to compete, and there is no need to be calculating. If you can let go of these things, you will save yourselves so much unnecessary trouble, and you will find that life becomes much easier to bear.

A Message to My Descendants

In the reality of the modern world, I know that everyone is taught to think only of themselves. However, I truly hope that my descendants can be different. I hope you can strive to be people who are content and filled with gratitude. The world is often harsh, but your heart does not have to be.

Now that I have arrived in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I can tell you that it is truly wonderful here. It is my deepest wish that all of you will one day be able to come here as well. Please, nurture your heart, study the diligently, and have faith in the Buddha. The connections between people in the human world are only temporary; when the time comes for separation, we must part ways. I did not understand this when I was alive, but now, I understand it clearly.

The of Chanting Namo Amituofo

I hope that all of you can avoid unnecessary suffering. Please, open your hearts and follow the Buddha with sincerity. Right now, I am here, chanting Namo Amituofo, and I feel absolutely at peace and completely free.

Li Zhongting, with palms joined in respect."
