The Fundamental Nature of Energy
The attributes of any energy, as well as the duration for which it remains effective, are determined by the molecular nature of the energy itself at the moment of its creation. This energy originates from the source that first produced it. Depending on that source, energy can be classified into several distinct categories:
- Good energy: Energy that fosters growth and harmony.
- Pure and benevolent energy: Energy that is untainted and inherently kind.
- Supreme, pure, and benevolent energy: The highest form of energy, which is perfectly clean and profoundly virtuous.
- Evil energy: Energy that is destructive, chaotic, or harmful to the practitioner.
The Interaction of Energy Within
If you absorb good energy, you effectively increase the presence of positive molecules within your body. This influx of goodness serves a vital purpose: it acts as a counterbalance, helping to neutralise and offset the negative or evil molecular energy that may have accumulated within you. When negative molecules are present, the good molecules you cultivate work to dissolve them. The critical question for every practitioner is: how long can these good molecules remain active and effective within your body?
The Consequences of Depletion
The duration of your energy's effectiveness is directly proportional to the quantity of good energy you maintain within your system. The more good energy you possess, the longer your period of vitality will last. However, if your energy reserves are nearing exhaustion and you fail to replenish them with new, good energy, your physical form will begin to degenerate. You will experience a gradual atrophy, eventually leading to the cessation of physical life.
This principle applies equally to the spirit. If a spiritual entity fails to maintain its energy, the soul itself will begin to degenerate and shrink. It will eventually fall into a state of stillness and inactivity. It is important to understand that this is not true death, for the spirit never dies. Instead, it becomes dormant, lacking the vitality and functionality required to progress or interact meaningfully with the world.
The Supreme Energy of Namo Amituofo
In contrast to worldly energies, the six-character sacred name of Namo Amituofo represents the ultimate, supreme, pure, and benevolent energy. It is the most refined and powerful force in the universe. The duration of this energy's effectiveness and the extent of the benefits of the you receive depend entirely on your own sincerity, the level of importance you place upon your practice, and the methods you employ.
Receiving the Ultimate Benefits
The more you place your faith in the Buddha, the more you will receive. This means truly believing in the words the Buddha has spoken, listening to His teachings, and following them without hesitation or a divided heart. When you practise with such unwavering devotion, you will inevitably receive the profound teachings, the great virtuous conduct, the vast Wisdom, and the immense of Namo Amituofo. This is the path to true liberation and the fulfilment of your spiritual journey.
