Ma Yun, a renowned entrepreneur, sought deliverance through the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. Having experienced a profound shift in his physical health and spiritual outlook, he now resides in a state of renewed clarity and purpose. This interview was recorded on September 3, 2018, by the chief writer, Haipin.
Ma Yun speaks:
". I am Ma Yun. As I went for my morning run today, I felt the cool breeze gently brushing against my face, and I was overcome by a sense of pure delight. It has been such a long time since I possessed this level of physical stamina and mental clarity. I have been observing the changes in my body bit by bit, and it is truly remarkable. The persistent aches and pains that used to plague me everywhere have simply vanished. For years, ever since I began working in the technology sector and spending countless hours in front of a computer, my eyes have felt dry, strained, and tired. But today, they feel exceptionally bright and clear. Even the smallest flowers and blades of grass by the roadside, or the tiny insects hidden deep within the foliage, are visible to me with such sharp detail as I run past. It is as if my entire perspective on the world has been renewed."
"After returning home and quickly freshening up, I finished my breakfast and began preparing for an important international video conference scheduled for this morning. During this meeting, I intend to take the opportunity to mention the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and explain how it differs from ordinary temples. My colleagues are well aware that I have never been one to focus on any specific religious faith, so when I bring this up, I am certain that they will all be wide-eyed with surprise. It is a significant shift for me, but one that I feel compelled to share because of the genuine transformation I have experienced."
"I plan to leverage the strength of my own team to help my subordinates understand the operations of the temple through our internal networks and website. By doing this, when I eventually launch more comprehensive collaborative activities with the temple, any noise or interference from misunderstanding will be reduced to an absolute minimum. I want them to see the value in what we are doing, not just as a project, but as a meaningful contribution to the world."
"Beyond my personal efforts, I truly hope to gain the support of our shareholders so that we can combine the company's resources to help build the temple. There is immense power in unity. This is a monumental project for China, and it represents a unique, world-renowned practice that can directly guide beings to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. We must work to transform this temple from a vision in the void into a tangible reality, truly establishing the banner of the 'Pure Land School Headquarters' here in the human world. As I think about this, I cannot help but smile to myself. This will undoubtedly be the most meaningful endeavour of my life."
"We can call upon the vast masses through the internet to join us in building this temple together. Every single tile laid is a field of merit, and every brick placed can provide for our descendants. This is because this is the authentic bodhimanda of Namo Amituofo; it is truly extraordinary! It is such a joyous thing to be a part of. Fellow practitioners, it is coming soon! It is almost here! Just wait a little longer! Namo Amituofo."
