The Struggle for Clarity and Deliverance

This interview features the spirit of Ma Yun, who sought spiritual deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. This testimony was recorded on September 16, 2018, by the chief writer, Venerable HaiZe, documenting Ma Yun's ongoing journey toward liberation and the challenges of maintaining spiritual purity while navigating the complexities of the ghost realm.

Ma Yun speaks:

"Today is the weekly Sunday Thrice Yearning Ceremonies at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Although we gather at approximately three o'clock in the morning—a time that should be shrouded in darkness—those with awakened eyes see only the all-encompassing radiance of the Buddha. Within this brilliant light, countless sentient beings have already arrived, gathering to participate in today's Thrice Yearning Ceremonies, all seeking deliverance and rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Among them are many beings from outer space and other planets. To the average person, this might seem utterly inconceivable, perhaps even impossible to comprehend. Yet, for us, this is simply what we witness and participate in alongside Practitioner Su every single day."

The Power of Deliverance

"Naturally, many of these spirits are delivered by Practitioner Su even before the break of dawn. Depending on whether these beings have chanted the Buddha's name and made the vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, they are guided by Practitioner Su to either the Western Pure Land or the realms of humans and heavens. This is already infinitely better than remaining trapped in the ghost realm! Therefore, any being who chants the name of Namo Amituofo and possesses the sincere vow to reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss can, through the assistance of Practitioner Su's vows and power, combined with the guidance of Namo Amituofo, successfully achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Such an opportunity is impossible to find anywhere else; in the entire universe, only Practitioner Su possesses this level of skill."

A True Bodhimanda

"The magnetic field at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is fundamentally different from any other place. It is graced by the presence of Buddha or Bodhisattva, and surrounded by the Dragon and Heaven Dharma Protectors. This is a true bodhimanda for practice. If one truly wishes to practise and realise one's true nature, one should enter this place to learn the path of purification."

The Speed of Spiritual Pollution

"Today, my three souls have emerged together, carrying back a full measure of energy, hoping to preserve the impressions of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre for as long as possible. However, looking at the past two days, it seems that as soon as the physical body wakes up and makes contact with the outside world, the mind begins to churn. Thoughts arise, and one task follows another in an endless sequence. The Body, Speech, and Mind are in constant motion, unable to find a moment of stillness. In an instant, I am polluted once again! The speed of this pollution is absolutely terrifying. Although my three souls receive energy and education here every day, and the fifty trillion cells of my body are purified under the Buddha’s light of Great Master Ouyi, as long as stubborn or attached spirits remain within me, I am unable to be the master of my own being. I am covered up, and I am occupied."

"Practitioner Su, I must continue to work harder. I will not give up."
