Technology Within Technology: The Ancient Demon's Perspective
An Interview with Magic Rong, an Ancient Demon of 7,960 Trillion Years
Recorded at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia
This is a record of an interview with Magic Rong, an ancient demon who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the . This account reflects upon his existence spanning approximately 7,960 trillion years. Recorded by the chief writer, Venerable HaiZe, on February 17, 2025.
Magic Rong speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. It is a profound honour to be granted the opportunity to speak with the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre once again. To be perfectly honest, our conversation yesterday felt a little rushed; there are many aspects of my experience that deserve a much more detailed explanation.
Yesterday, I shared the process of my salvation and my departure from the demon realms of the Realm. Truly, the events that transpire within the vastness of the Dharma Realm cannot be captured in a mere word or two. This is why I have such immense respect for the Buddhist concept of 'Emptiness'. When we speak of 'Emptiness', it encompasses everything, yet it is so cool and refreshing—it appears to be nothing at all. Because it is empty, it is simultaneously everything. If you wish to see, everything is revealed before you; if you do not wish to see, then nothing is perceived. This is the nature of Emptiness. It is absolutely marvellous! This is precisely how an awakened being perceives reality.
Seeing Beyond the Physical
Consider this: the human eye cannot perceive air molecules. You use microscopes manufactured by human hands to observe the elements within those molecules, and you have even given them names like oxygen or carbon dioxide. However, if an awakened being chooses to observe closely, their eyes can directly perceive the air molecules and the space contained within them. Within that space, there is yet more space, and within that space, there are various beings existing. It is truly incredible.
The Dharma Realm functions in exactly the same way. In fact, it is not just the Dharma Realm; the entire expanse of the void is like this. Everywhere is filled with air, but within that air lies a great mystery. There are countless spaces and beings residing within it—space within space, and within those spaces, even more beings. I, Magic Rong, am one such being. There are countless beings just like me! In the space where I resided, the air molecules were not occupied by just one being; there were two, three, or even more. I was attached to a specific element, and some elements have many beings clinging to them. The air molecules and spaces formed in this way are all unique. This is merely one example of the complexity of existence.
The Penetrating Power of Buddha-light
The space I occupied in the Dharma Realm was incredibly deep. The fact that I remained undiscovered for over three thousand trillion years proves that finding such a place is no simple task. I was hidden in the deepest reaches of the Dharma Realm, within the air molecules of a dark, desolate space. Yet, even this place could be pierced by the Buddha-light brought forth by Practitioner Su. Can human science achieve such a feat? Can human technology penetrate the very fabric of space to reach into the heart of a molecule and deliver the demonic beings trapped within?
Buddha-light is intended for the salvation of all beings. We, the demons of the Dharma Realm, have been saved by this light countless times, in massive numbers. Just how deep can this Buddha-light penetrate? Based on my own experience, the depth and breadth of the light’s reach depend entirely on the capacity of the practitioner's heart and the depth of their vows. If a person has a small mind and lacks a profound vow, the light they emit will be extremely faint and appear dark. This is precisely why the more ancient a demon is, the darker, deeper, and more brilliant the light on their body appears. Buddha-light and demon-light are two starkly contrasting forces. Buddha-light is incomparably bright. It is understandable that the Buddha saves beings without boundaries or discrimination. The truth is that the penetrating power of Buddha-light is not limited by time, space, or any boundary. Viewed in this light, it is not so strange that I was discovered. The most extraordinary thing is that there is a Buddha! Only with a Buddha can such things be accomplished. The Buddha’s mind-capacity and for saving beings will never change.
The Ultimate Technology
When I was a 'little demon', the Buddha who cared for me—Namo Amituofo—told me that there are infinite Buddhas existing throughout the Dharma Realm. Now, 7,960 trillion years later, I have encountered them. Here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, there is truly a Buddha present, which is why so many demons can be saved. Furthermore, it is not just the demons of Earth who are being delivered; demons from the far reaches of the Dharma Realm, the universe, and even the Milky Way are being saved. We are now staying in the Western Dharma-Nature Land. This is not just something visible during the ; even on ordinary days, one can see Practitioner Su constantly travelling to the Dharma Realm to perform , continuously emitting light, and tirelessly saving demons. Each time the light is emitted, it shines further and deeper, penetrating into even more profound spaces.
Therefore, I have every reason to believe that if I, a demon of 7,960 trillion years, have been discovered, then in the future, demons of eight thousand trillion, nine thousand trillion, or even ten thousand trillion years will have their spaces opened and be discovered as well. This implies that the age of the Dharma Realm and the void is far greater than we can imagine. The 'demon age' of these beings serves as evidence that the Dharma Realm is even deeper and more ancient. And what of the Buddha? The Buddha’s age must surely be no less than that of the demons. Namo Amituofo has an immeasurable lifespan! This is the Buddhist education I have received here in the Western Dharma-Nature Land.
In the sutras, we learn of kalpas and of numbers that are 'incalculable'. This is the absolute truth. How can one explain it clearly? For instance, if one day Practitioner Su opens the space of a demon who is ten thousand trillion years old, what measure could we possibly use to describe the age of beings even deeper and further back than that? I do not know. Perhaps we should simply describe it as an 'incalculable' age. One thing is certain: if people allow their minds to be limited by what their physical eyes see, believing that their current environment is all there is, it would be a great tragedy. There are far too many spaces invisible to the naked eye! The 'demon eye' can see much further and wider than the human eye, and the 'Buddha eye' is even more extraordinary. I had little opportunity to interact with humans before, as most of my activities were within the Dharma Realm. But this time, I have come to the Western Dharma-Nature Land at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, and I am able to share the same space with Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. It is truly a unique experience. It turns out that a world with a Buddha is a world of light.
In the space where I, an elemental demon, resided, it was pitch black. Yet, when the Buddha-light of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su entered, it became filled with brilliance. Thus, the Buddha’s light can dissolve the demonic light on the bodies of ancient and old demons. It is no wonder that when old and ancient demons are touched by Buddha-light, regardless of their age, they feel their strength fading, yet their hearts become peaceful. This is a natural phenomenon brought about by the Buddha-light.
The most special aspect I mentioned earlier is that a human body can be cultivated to the point of , allowing the person to emit Buddha-light just like a Buddha. This is something technology can never achieve! In these past few days, I have observed the technological products used in the human world—mobile phones, computers, and various modern electrical appliances. These are creations of the human mind, widely accepted and indispensable to modern life. They are what you call 'technology'. So, I must ask: can human technology manufacture Buddha-light? Can it allow everyone to use Buddha-light? This is where technology fails. Since it cannot manufacture Buddha-light, it means that penetrating space and subduing demonic beings is not something humans can achieve on their own. Are these acts not, therefore, the 'technology within technology'? Moreover, the demons being subdued are not merely little demons of a few hundred or thousand years, nor are they just 'demon children and grandchildren'; they are ancient demons of trillions of years, even 'ancestral demons' of hundreds or thousands of trillions of years! 'Ancestor' is a common term in the demon realm. Essentially, this already transcends anything human technology can accomplish.
Take Practitioner Su as an example. Wherever he goes, it is not just the Buddha-light on his body that illuminates the area; Namo Amituofo and the Buddha-light accompany him, shining upon everyone. I believe this is what is meant by 'all Buddhas walk the same path'. Only when Practitioner Su’s heart is in sync with the heart of Namo Amituofo can he act in accordance with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
The Buddha-heart and the demonic heart are fundamentally different; they are two extremes. A demon, in this context, refers to a spirit without a body—a spirit with a very strong personality that enters the demon realm. Perhaps in their life, they encountered a demon who led them into the demon realm. If this happens, it is likely because they had a past-life causal connection with that demon; otherwise, the demon could not have moved them. Furthermore, Buddha-light manifests naturally; it can never be manufactured by human effort. How does it manifest naturally? It manifests from the heart. Just as the demon-light comes from the demon’s heart—the deeper and more aggressive the heart, the more destructive the energy obtained. The more spectacular the destruction, the more abundant the energy. Everything I did in the past was of this nature! Small matters were left to the little demons.
However, there are many things demons cannot do. For example, a demon cannot transform demon-light into Buddha-light, but the Buddha can use Buddha-light to neutralise demon-light and subdue demonic beings. I believe no demon could refute this, as it is the natural reaction every demon has when encountering Buddha-light. The reason is that the compassion, tolerance, and mind-capacity within Buddha-light are exactly what demonic beings lack. This is also one of the natural principles, truths, and right ways. Furthermore, based on what I have seen in the Western Dharma-Nature Land regarding Practitioner Su’s delivery of demonic beings, it is extremely rapid and covers a vast range. He can cover the entire scope of the demons he intends to subdue in a single moment. If he wishes to go from the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to the Dharma Realm to subdue demons, he arrives instantly. This is called 'thought power'. This thought power is a form of energy. The speed of this energy is immense. Depending on the practitioner’s skills, the distance this energy can reach varies. For instance, little demons and old demons have different capabilities. A little demon can only reach places they can conceive of, while ancient and old demons can reach much further and deeper. Because their hearts and thoughts differ, the reach of their thought power differs. Buddha’s teachings speak of the heart; this is simply the different energy emitted by different hearts."
Namo Amituofo.
In this sense, the Dharma Realm has no boundaries; it is integrated and one with the void. Reaching the Dharma Realm often involves traversing numerous spaces and star systems, yet this happens in an instant, right in the present moment. This present moment can also penetrate the very space occupied by demons who have existed for over seven thousand trillion years.
The Ultimate Technology of the Dharma
In this place, can technology immediately manufacture light that travels as far as one desires? For instance, can it instantly produce light capable of reaching the Dharma Realm? It seems humanity has not yet attained such capability. In reality, this is a natural ability. It does not rely on external sources; it relies on practice and purification. Humans naturally possess this ability within themselves—what a truly accessible gift! If one believes in this, the believer is worthy of the time and energy Practitioner Su spends on education and cultivation. However, those who do not believe, such as the demonic crowds, are the very ones who need Practitioner Su to educate and explain things to them so they can turn toward belief and perhaps become followers.
The Buddha’s teachings and are the technology of all technologies! It is not limited to just this or that. When you complete one stage, you naturally move into the next, and this next stage is certainly more magnificent than the first.
The Inconceivable Power of Chao Du
I would like to add that terms like Chao Du, Buddha-light, and technology are things I only learned here. For example, the ability of Dharma Body Chao Du to save beings with whom they have karmic affinity is absolutely true. For beings with karmic affinity, even if separated by three thousand trillion or ten thousand trillion years—no matter how much time has passed—there is no need for any physical instruments, products, or technology. None of it is required. As long as one sees the other, one naturally knows there is a karmic connection. How profound is this! Can human technology achieve such a thing? Yet, through practice and purification, one can elevate the human spirit to this level. This is the hope that the Buddha’s teachings bring to people, and it has been verified through Practitioner Su. It is no simple feat. And for an ancient demon to speak of it, it is even more extraordinary.
This matter differs from the general progression of the Buddha’s teachings. We also know that many people and practitioners adopt an attitude of keeping a respectful distance from demonic beings—hoping never to encounter them, and if they do, just accepting it, trying their best not to be interfered with. But honestly, speaking from the perspective of demon nature, if one encounters a practitioner, it is very difficult not to interfere! This is because what a practitioner intends to do and what demonic beings intend to do are completely different. One seeks to destroy and interfere, preventing progress in practice; the other strives to transform and practice diligently, avoiding interference from demons. Under such circumstances, to struggle and emerge victorious, overcoming the disturbances of the demonic crowds and elevating one's body and spirit, is, truthfully, no easy task.
The Power of Faith and the Path of Practitioner Su
We now understand that for Practitioner Su, there is no such thing as easy or difficult; there is only what should be done and what should not. What must be done is done directly; what should not be done is neither thought about, nor performed, nor spoken of, nor looked at. This is indeed a highly profound method of practice. However, the current capacity of people makes it difficult for them to believe that this can be done. Because they themselves do not understand the Buddha’s teachings and do not even believe in the Buddha, they are unable to derive strength from faith in the Buddha.
This is related to the depth of one's faith. Just as when Fa Rong was a little demon, he believed he had encountered the Buddha without any doubt. Only after seven thousand nine hundred and sixty trillion years could the Buddha save the little demon of the past, who is now Fa Rong. Therefore, Practitioner Su’s ability today to perform Dharma Body Chao Du and subdue the demonic crowds—after the demons have come to understand Practitioner Su further—leads us to a conclusion: it is because Practitioner Su believes in the Buddha, believes in Namo Amituofo, that it is possible to receive the power of Namo Amituofo. Only then can Namo Amituofo help Practitioner Su fulfill the vow to save the demons. This is our perspective as ancient and old demons: this is why Practitioner Su is able to subdue the demonic crowds and why the demons come to seek refuge.
The Universal Principle of Deliverance
So, how is Practitioner Su able to perform Chao Du and subdue demonic beings of seven thousand nine hundred and sixty trillion years? The first important reason is faith in the Buddha. Furthermore, how can one save demonic beings? It is because Practitioner Su no longer has an ego. This ego, filled with self-interest and selfishness, can never escape the cycle of rebirth. We see human reincarnation, but for demonic beings, the scope of reincarnation is too small—it is confined to the six realms of existence. It is merely within this space of the worldly realm, doing this one moment and that the next, with the heart leading the spirit, doing whatever it desires.
As for demonic beings, honestly speaking, their hearts of evil and stubbornness are far stronger than those of humans! Therefore, what they do is nothing but harm; there is not a single good deed. Demonic beings in the Dharma Realm are very active because the Dharma Realm is vast and has many planets. Thus, the demonic deeds they commit cause damage far greater than those of demons in smaller spaces, and the they receive is, as one can imagine, absolutely more terrifying than they are. This is why, when we ancient demons encountered the Buddha manifesting this time, many of us could not wait to seek refuge. Because we recognize the Buddha and believe in the Buddha, we now have the opportunity to receive education in the Buddha’s teachings in the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
Technology Within Technology
The Twelve Lights radiating from Practitioner Su are very famous in the Demon Realm. These Twelve Lights are a key reason for the ability to subdue demons. I believe human technology cannot manufacture the Twelve Lights because they are rays of light emitted from the Buddha-heart. Human technology can produce various medical products, but it cannot manufacture a Buddha-heart; that can only be cultivated through education in the Buddha’s teachings. This is what we call the technology within technology.
In fact, any example of the Buddha’s teachings can surpass technology. Fa Rong has already mentioned a few, but let me continue. In terms of distance, from Earth to the Dharma Realm, using the fastest transportation, how long would it take to arrive? I have seen people use light-years to describe distance, or some transportation to the heavenly realms or the sky—how long would it take to reach the Dharma Realm, how many light-years? I do not know the scientists' answer, nor do I need to explore it.
The point I want to make is that for Practitioner Su, or for practitioners with deep skills, or even for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, for a spirit to travel from this Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to the Dharma Realm takes only an instant! Even to reach the dark depths of the Dharma Realm, or the air of the Dharma Realm, or spaces deeper and deeper within, it can be reached in an instant, in a single thought. May I ask if human technology can do this? Yet the Buddha’s teachings can. This is the technology within technology—realized through thought power and the power of vows. It is an ability that can be attained simply by believing in the Buddha, learning from the Buddha, and practicing.
Inconceivable Manifestations
This conclusion is what I, Fa Rong, have reached over these past few days in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. Wherever the Buddha-light shines, the beings there have a chance to be saved. As I mentioned yesterday, when I returned to my demonic forces, I saw that the number of my demon kings, sons, and grandsons was greater than the range seen above the sky of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. They were layered one upon another—I could not even count how many layers—layer upon layer, so many demon kings, sons, and grandsons. Practitioner Su’s immeasurable, boundless, and infinite manifestations were holding the hands of the demonic beings one by one, and in that instant, they arrived at the Western Land of Dharma Nature. This shows that Practitioner Su can manifest immeasurable, countless manifestations! Moreover, they can instantly travel from the Dharma Realm to the Western Land of Dharma Nature on Earth. This is Earth, not the Dharma Realm. May I ask if human technology can achieve such ability and speed? This is what we call the technology within technology.
Furthermore, I saw countless demon sons and grandsons entering the Western Land of Dharma Nature, and the Dharma-Nature Land remained just as vast; it was not filled up, including myself, who is also in the Dharma-Nature Land at this moment. Such a fact of Dharma-nature is magnificent; it has no limitations of scope. This has already transcended the range of what humans can imagine, so this matter is truly inconceivable. Can technology create the Western Land of Dharma Nature? This, too, is the technology within technology.
The Power of the Twelve Lights
Regarding the Twelve Lights, I can explain further. I heard you chanting the names of the Twelve Lights: Buddha of Immeasurable Light, Buddha of Boundless Light, Buddha of Unimpeded Light, Buddha of Incomparable Light, Light of Wisdom, Light of Constant Illumination, Light of Purity, Light of , Light of Liberation, Light of Peace and Stability, Light Surpassing the Sun and Moon, and Light of Inconceivability. The spirit or power covered by the names of these Twelve Lights is exactly what demonic beings lack. Not a single demonic being can fulfill the conditions of the Twelve Lights. And these Twelve Lights, now, as seen by Fa Rong, are conditions that Practitioner Su possesses—not to mention Namo Amituofo. Because the name of every light is an epithet of Namo Amituofo. This is what I have learned here these past few days, and now I can verify that it is indeed so. Otherwise, why would the demon palaces be leveled wherever the Twelve Lights sweep? Why could not a single demonic being resist and instead be sent to the Western Land of Dharma Nature? These things are also the technology within technology, are they not?
I see the state of spirits in the Western Land of Dharma Nature at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre; it is not just the human world, but the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre as well—the space is filled with spirits! There is not a single gap in space; it is all spirits. It is just a matter of whether one can see them or not. Those with deep skills and opened eyes can see spirits; those with shallow skills whose eyes have not yet opened cannot see them, but that does not mean spirits do not exist. This situation is on par with our Dharma Realm. Human physical eyes do not see them, so they think it is empty and that there is nothing there. In fact, it is full of spirits. Every spirit has a personality, and they have different personalities. It is just like the fourfold assembly of disciples; each one has their own personality, and their personalities are not the same. For the people outside the temple, it is even more so.
Let me tell everyone again: on the vast lawns of the temple, every blade of grass and every flower has a personality! Every tree, every stone, and every piece of soil has a personality! And their personalities are all different; they all have the eight consciousnesses and fifty-one mental factors. It turns out that this is the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. Because this is not just happening at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre; the Dharma Realm is the same! The demons in the Dharma Realm are immeasurable, boundless, and countless. According to my experience of seven thousand nine hundred and sixty trillion years, no two demons have the same personality. Namo Amituofo.
"In this sense, there are no two beings in the entire universe with the exact same personality. It is a terrifying thought. While they are not identical, there are similarities. This makes things much easier for the demon crowds. What the demon crowds crave is energy. Regardless of the space or the time—whether it is an Earth demon, a Primordial Demon, a cosmic demon, a Milky Way demon, a demon from beyond the heavens, a demon from another realm, or any other demonic being—every single one of them requires a source of survival, which is energy. Not one of them can do without it! Even for beings like us who have entered samadhi for such a long time, we still require a very, very minute amount of energy. It is naturally present in the air, which is why we can survive, almost to the point of needing nothing at all, yet there is still that tiny, lingering need. That is why you can see that a demon's hair will still grow, albeit very slowly, and a demon's light will still persist."
The Transformation of Personality
"Therefore, I have now realised one thing: what the Buddha’s teachings say—that every sentient being possesses Buddha-nature and a true self—is something I hear every single day in the Western Land of Dharma Nature. I understand it now. Every being has a personality, and every being has the eight consciousnesses and the fifty-one mental factors. If you change your personality—if you change it until you have no personality at all—then you have transformed those eight consciousnesses and fifty-one mental factors into the Wisdom of a Buddha. At that point, that being has become a Buddha; that is what it means for the true self to manifest.
"So that is how it works! This has truly given me an opportunity to gain this insight. Therefore, if any being wishes to become a Buddha, the effort required is simply to change their personality until they have no personality left, and then they can become a Buddha!"
The Illusion of the Demon Nature
"It is the same for us demon crowds. Now that we are in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, we all feel that there is nothing to get angry about. We have become much kinder, and we are often smiling. This indicates that our personalities are gradually being smoothed out, with no opportunity to manifest. However, I have realised something else. Even though we demon crowds do not manifest our personalities in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, it does not mean those personalities are gone. It is just like the great virtuous being from the spiritual realms that you have been interviewing recently. Even though they are in a place as wonderful as the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, where their personality has no chance to manifest, the moment they return to the human world, their personality returns. This shows that they have not yet realised their true nature; it is merely the environment that creates different temperaments.
"But there is still a chance to realise one's true nature. One must continue to practice, refining the personality until it is gone, transformed into 'nothingness'—until not even a shadow can be found, until it is completely empty. Then, one becomes a Buddha! There is a chance to be like Practitioner Su: possessing a human body but having Buddha-nature, where the spirit can freely enter and exit the body, where Buddha-light naturally radiates from the body, and where the Buddha-name never ceases. The spirit can go wherever it wishes—to save sentient beings, to save demon crowds, or to return to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Is this something human technology can achieve? It is truly the technology of technologies."
A Miracle for Humanity
"Because Namo Amituofo abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, whenever Practitioner Su goes anywhere to deliver sentient beings, the Buddha naturally appears there to receive them and deliver them! This is truly a most extraordinary occurrence. I believe that in the human world, this is a monumental event. Yet, looking at the human world, people are unable to believe it, which instead allows the spiritual realms and our Demon Realm to receive immense benefits. And the fourfold assembly of disciples here can also receive the assistance of Namo Amituofo and the benefits of realising their true nature—that is, they can attain the same achievements as Practitioner Su. I, Mo Faron, am speaking this truth from the perspective of a third party.
"In fact, this truth has always existed at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre; it is, in essence, the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. All beings possess the true self and can all become Buddhas. In this sense, I too have the opportunity to become a Buddha! If I continue to stay in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, and if I even make the vow to enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, I will have the opportunity to become a Buddha."
The Salvation Team
"The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre has a very special group called the Salvation Team. I only realised after coming here that the members of this team are actually demon crowds who were previously subdued by Practitioner Su, and each of them has quite a significant background! Now, they have transformed their demon nature into Buddha-nature, and under the leadership of Practitioner Su, the Salvation Team saves sentient beings. The objects of their salvation are not limited to the human world; they also include beings from the Demon Realm and all other kinds of sentient beings. This is a truly unique group. I have seen it in the Western Land of Dharma Nature; there is no such group in the human world. This is a group from the spiritual realms.
"To be honest, being able to lead this group is certainly no simple matter. But Practitioner Su has done it. First, one must have virtue and vows. I have looked at five thousand years of Chinese history—although I did not experience it myself, I look back and ask: Why is it possible to invite Namo Amituofo from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss to Goombungee, Australia, on Earth? It is because what Practitioner Su does is exactly what the Buddha does! That is why Namo Amituofo has come here. It is truly not easy to believe this. However, this matter has already spread throughout our Demon Realm. Because we had never encountered a Buddha who used such methods to save so many demon crowds, we have now encountered it, and everyone has gone from not knowing the Buddha at all to gradually understanding what a Buddha is."
The Necessity of Buddhist Education
"In the days since I emerged from samadhi, the Buddhist education I have received in the Western Land of Dharma Nature has been truly unique.
"Practitioner Su has constantly told everyone that the human world lacks Buddhist education, which leads to people today being unable to be their own masters. They cannot use their own true self to master and use their bodies, allowing demon crowds, , and attached spirits to take control of their bodies instead. This causes people to grow old, fall ill, and die, leaving their spirits drifting everywhere, suffering. Indeed, this is the reality. If Buddhist education is spread by Practitioner Su, I believe many people will be able to be their own masters. But one must have the ability to achieve purification, to avoid attracting demon crowds, and to avoid being in sync with the demon heart. This requires education; it truly requires Buddhist education.
"Our Demon Realm also has its own education, which teaches the 'demon children and grandchildren' how to do evil, how to unleash demonic power, and how to use magic to harm others, leaving them unable to defend themselves so that we can gain the upper hand and win. Therefore, the life of a demon is one of winning and losing, of victory and defeat, of strength and weakness, of greatness and smallness.
"Now I know that many of us demon crowds, during these days of receiving the Buddhist education brought to us by Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su, have come to know the laws of and cause and effect. We understand that the Buddha and those who have realised their true nature are equal toward all beings. There is no winning or losing, no strength or weakness, no greatness or smallness, no victory or defeat, no high or low. It is precisely this concept of equality, this equal heart, and this infinite compassion, wisdom, and tolerance that allow the heart to radiate Buddha-light and the Twelve Lights. This light shines upon us demon crowds, leaving us with no power to resist, and we are sent to the Western Land of Dharma Nature.
"After saying this, I know that many 'demon children and grandchildren' in the Land of Dharma Nature are also listening. Do you understand now? This can be said to be the transformation of the education of the Demon Realm by the Buddhist education of the Buddha, a fusion of the Buddha’s teachings and magic. If there is anything you do not understand, continue to listen and you will understand. Practitioner Su understands and knows the demon crowds, and Namo Amituofo is even more omniscient and omnipotent; He knows the problems of the demon crowds and answers everyone's questions. This is what makes the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre different; it is quite special, is it not? Being able to save demons, answer the questions of demon crowds, and interview demon crowds to help them understand the laws of karma and cause and effect—tell me, is this something human technology can do? This is also the technology of technologies!"
The Reality of Karma
"It is no wonder that some practitioners do not believe these things, because they have never had the opportunity to encounter them, nor do they have the ability to do them. Among the fourfold assembly of disciples at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, who does not believe? Everyone has heard it, everyone has seen it, and they cannot help but believe! Things are just that natural.
"In fact, such education is extremely precious. You have all heard the words of an ancient demon from the Dharma Realm who has existed for seven thousand nine hundred and sixty trillion years. This is one hundred percent the truth. Whether you believe it or not is up to you. I believe it one hundred percent. That is my personality. What I have said represents my personality. To be honest, I have never spoken so many words at once. In our state of samadhi, how could we possibly stir up a single thought? Only in this safe environment, from just a moment ago until now, have I been able to speak so much. Usually, there is no opportunity, nor is it possible; I would not do such a thing.
"In this space, densely packed without even a tiny gap, in a state of spirits, to be honest, every thought and intention of every person is crystal clear to these beings. However, if they are in space and the space has not been opened up, they cannot come out. What does it matter if it is clear? Knowing is enough. And this matter of the laws of karma and cause and effect is a real existence; it is not only clear, but it is also recorded within one's own eight consciousnesses and fifty-one mental factors. Can one escape the laws of karma? One cannot. It is clearly recorded, no matter how much time has passed, including events from seven thousand nine hundred and sixty trillion years ago.
"Events that occurred seven thousand nine hundred and sixty trillion years ago are all recorded in these eight consciousnesses. Thinking about it, it is a terrifying thing. Everything we have done has been recorded by ourselves. In this sense, how can one escape the laws of karma? One cannot. It is only because we remain unmoved in samadhi that we do not stir these karmic causes. Once one emerges from samadhi, or loses one's meditative concentration, all of these will surface, and the karmic fruits are something one must endure oneself. This is truly a sight too tragic to behold; I dare not even think about it.
"Speaking of thoughts, there is one more thing I can share with everyone. In the Dharma Realm, spirits have no bodies; it is all about the relationships between spirits. However, what we have seen in the past few days at the Western Land of Dharma Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is much more complex! It is the relationship between spirits and bodies. Every spirit has its personality, and every body, every person, has their personality. Furthermore, a human body has many kinds of personalities because there are many spirits inside, and each spirit has its own personality."
"So, is this body truly owned by one person? No! You say it is one person, but we see it as a collection of many spirits; the body is merely a gathering place for them. From our perspective, the body is a meeting ground for spirits, and it is incredibly crowded. Many of these spirits come from the outside—what you call 'spiritual attachment.' The reason they enter the body is that the thoughts of this human host are identical or similar to the thoughts of the spirit. The spirit enters this body feeling absolutely delighted. This is the situation as we see it."
A Crowded House of Spirits
"Furthermore, it is often not just one spirit entering, but batches upon batches. Let me tell you all: sometimes, large groups of demon crowds enter at once. Some reside in the head, some in the ears, some in the eyes, some on the face, some on the shoulders, and others in the hands, feet, waist, thighs, and skin. Almost every part of the body, anywhere there is a pore, allows spirits to move in and out freely. This is the state of your bodies as we see it! Demons, just like other spirits, can move in and out of this body as they please."
"However, there are Dharma protectors here. Sometimes they block these spirits or demons from entering or leaving the body. But for some bodies, the Dharma protectors just stand by and watch, allowing the demons to come and go as they please, while others are blocked. Looking at it now, I realise it all comes down to the heart of the person inhabiting that body. This heart is far too complex; why not make it simpler?"
The Theft of Vital Energy
"Moreover, when we see demons or attached spirits entering and leaving, they are always joyous. They enter happily, inhale a massive amount of your vital energy, and then leave just as happily. The result? You see that person lying there motionless, or they faint, their eyes close, or they are prostrating to the Buddha and cannot wake up. It turns out their energy has been sucked away by these demons and attached spirits! This is something we see very clearly."
"We in the Western Land of Dharma Nature watch these things every single day. We think to ourselves: you fourfold assembly of disciples, Practitioner Su speaks of this truth every day, and we have understood it clearly—why is it that you still do not understand? You eat piles of food and consume so much nutrition every day, and you have to go to the restroom to handle the waste just to maintain this body. But who are you actually feeding with the energy you cultivate? It turns out it is being used by the attached spirits, the demon crowds, and the karmic creditors inside you! They are the ones who are full of spirit, brimming with vitality, and feeling absolutely delighted."
The Body as a Shell
"Forgive me! I am just speaking my mind about the situation I have observed here recently. This is not an easy thing to see in the Dharma Realm because we do not have physical bodies. The beings on the planets throughout the Dharma Realm are almost all in the state of spirits. Some, for instance, are in stones or rare water sources; there are spirits existing within them. They are not like humans, who have a physical body. In truth, the body is the same as a stone—it is just a shell! It is like a water molecule, just a shell. It is like an air molecule, also just a shell. But some of these shells are visible, some are invisible, some have form, and some are formless. This state of affairs pervades the entire Dharma Realm and empty space."
"Therefore, the human body draws our attention because it is a place where one can become a Buddha. I mentioned this earlier: it is true that every single being can become a Buddha. As long as one sheds their personality, transforms the eight consciousnesses and the fifty-one mental factors, the true self is revealed, and one can become a Buddha! Hearing this makes me incredibly happy. It means I also have the opportunity to become a Buddha, and it means I have the chance to carry the Buddha-light, just like the who calls me 'little demon.' It means I have the chance to save the beings I have harmed in the past."
A Scientific Frontier
"Let me tell you all something else very special! Every one of you in the fourfold assembly has a truly prominent and complex background! And this background is rooted in the Demon Realm. Of course, many also have backgrounds from the Buddha Realm, and those are not small either. It turns out that demon nature and Buddha-nature can exist simultaneously within this same body. This body is truly complex! It is a subject that is genuinely worthy of scientific research."
"May I ask, does science have a way to study the demon nature and Buddha-nature of this body? Is there a way to digitise demon nature and Buddha-nature? I know that human science demands numbers and concrete facts before it can believe in something. So, what methods could scientists use to study the demon nature and Buddha-nature of the human body? Could they analyse the eight consciousnesses and the fifty-one mental factors? Could they express the number of attached spirits, demon crowds, and karmic creditors inside each person's body in numerical terms?"
"This is truly a direction worth developing for scientists. I believe it would certainly broaden everyone's horizons. Furthermore, one could tell these scientists that this fact has existed since a very, very, very long time ago. It is just that, as things have evolved to this day, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre has the ability to interview demon crowds and reveal this situation. But, of course, the scientists have to be willing to believe it! If they do not believe it, that is fine too. The Truth is the Truth. It does not gain an extra measure of reality because a scientist believes in it, nor does it lose a measure of reality because they do not. This is what we call the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way."
The Ultimate Technology
"The words I have spoken today are for scientists to use as a reference. If they explore in this direction, it will lead to new discoveries in Earth's science and provide an opportunity for everyone to see that the Dharma is the ultimate 'high technology' through a scientific lens. I have only provided a few examples. We ourselves were subdued by the power of the Buddha’s teachings and the fact that the body is the ultimate 'high technology,' and only after being sent to the Western Land of Dharma Nature did I have the opportunity to say these things. If Practitioner Su had not appeared at this time, if the Twelve Lights of Amitabha Buddha had not appeared, or if Amitabha Buddha had not manifested at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, the 'Magic Rong' of today would still be just an element among the air molecules of the Dharma Realm, lost in a deep meditative state."
"Saying all this is enough. For 'Magic Rong' to speak so many words in one breath is truly no simple feat. At the very least, in over three thousand trillion years, I have never done such a thing. But in these past two days, I have spoken many words, so I can consider that I have not failed the request of Amitabha Buddha, who specifically asked for Magic Rong to speak. Of course, if there is anything I can do to be of service, please instruct me."
"So, let us stop here for today."
"Magic Rong"
"Namo Amituofo."
