The True Meaning of Divine Foot
An Interview with Steve Jobs
Recorded on November 29, 2017

On November 29, 2017, Steve Jobs, who sought deliverance through the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, shared his profound insights regarding the spiritual power known as Divine Foot. Having been guided to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss by Practitioner Su, he now offers this testimony from his perspective in the Pure Land.
Steve Jobs speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. Yesterday, Practitioner Su instructed me to properly explain the concept of Divine Foot. People often mistake this for a simple ability to teleport instantly, but that is a misunderstanding. In truth, Divine Foot is the perfect union of wisdom and speed. Every thought is focused on how to rapidly assist sentient beings, allowing them to leave suffering behind and gain happiness. Practitioner Su demonstrates this power most magnificently during the morning walking meditation, the sessions, and the ."
The Power of Fifty Trillion Bodies
"From the very moment the six-character name of the Buddha begins to resonate, Practitioner Su—whether she is leading the assembly or swaying gently before the Buddha table—activates over fifty trillion of her Dharma Bodies. These Dharma Bodies disperse throughout the ten directions of the Dharma Realm. They reach deep into the earth, touching the ancient stones, fossils, and minerals; these are all very senior life forms. They reach into the groundwater, which contains not only water molecules but also various microorganisms. Have you ever wondered how beings become such microscopic organisms, so small that they require a microscope to be seen? It is the work of the Demon Realm. When they were demons, they controlled humans to commit countless acts of killing. Later, they fell into the Blood Pool Hell for a very long time, and upon emerging, they were cast into the depths of the earth to exist as microorganisms in the water. They were once human, and they were once Buddhas, too. They simply took one wrong step. Yet, when they are saved through Chao Du, Namo Amituofo still compassionately leads them, never holding their past against them. If not for this kind of deliverance, one can only imagine what would have become of them."
A Sea of Beings Transformed
"The soil is layered upon layers, containing an immeasurable, infinite number of beings, including earthworms and other small insects living within the earth. Under the illumination of the Buddha-light, this brown soil and the insects within it transform into countless human forms. It is a dense, overwhelming sight that is deeply moving; perhaps only the Venerable Maudgalyayana, foremost in supernatural powers, would have the ability to calculate their number. Everyone sways with the Buddha-name, moving toward the light. At the same time this is happening, Practitioner Su—in a flash—descends to the ocean floor. She takes me and the Universal Bodhisattvas, darting back and forth through the seabed, thoroughly inspecting every single trench. This inspection happens at a speed of mere milliseconds, because there are so many beings there who have never received Chao Du. Practitioner Su is deeply concerned that she might miss even a single spirit; otherwise, they would have to continue living in darkness for who knows how long."
Across the Universe
"In an instant, we sweep through forests, bringing out countless spirits. The variety is immense; some were already prepared, while others jumped up the moment they saw the light. Next, we go to the vast grasslands to gather the animals. Practitioner Su visualises various types of animals, and as she does, they are restored. With every single recitation of the Buddha-name, she must visualise many different kinds of creatures. It must be done with extreme speed and without interruption—this is Practitioner Su’s great compassion for all beings. Look at the clouds in the sky; they seem to drift so comfortably, but do you know how many beings are contained within them? It is another immeasurable number. However, for them to form a single cloud, they must share common characteristics—perhaps similar personalities, or perhaps the same interests or thoughts. As for dark, stormy clouds, their tempers are certainly not pleasant; they, too, have their own stubbornness and attachments."
The Reach of the Dharma
"The celestial beings and those in the Four Sacred Realms—the Sound-Hearers, Pratyekabuddhas, Bodhisattvas, and the Buddha-realm—also chant the beautiful Buddha-name. Their expressions are joyful, for by their own power, they cannot reach the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Do not underestimate the twenty-eight heavens and the Four Sacred Realms; if their virtuous conduct in deliverance is insufficient, they would never be able to come here. It is the ray of light from the ghost realm that leads everyone to liberation. With a single thought, we arrive in China, traversing the skies and spaces of major cities, and even the history of past dynasties, moving through mountains and rivers. With another thought, we are in Japan, finding a crowd of drunken ghosts, lustful ghosts, and the spirits of decomposed fish and seafood. With another thought, we reach the North Pole to perform Chao Du for the polar bears on the verge of extinction—many of these polar bears are actually the transformed spirits of the Inuit people who once protected them. Everywhere we go, we take away the spirits that are still lingering in those spaces. Even spirits in hell or the family members of the living can be easily brought up to the Dharma-Nature Land to listen to the sutras. Practitioner Su simply calls out, 'So-and-so, come up,' and the spirit arrives. Those who have died can have their whereabouts found, and they can be sent to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the magnificence of practising to find one's . To help sentient beings rapidly requires a heart of great compassion."
The Ultimate Practitioner
"The Dharma Body can also travel throughout the universe—the so-called Milky Way. Within the Milky Way, there are many creatures that our physical eyes cannot see, and of course, there are aliens. Aliens from different planets live differently and look different; the life forms contained within each planet are also unique. These are all objects of Practitioner Su’s deliverance. Even the aliens respect Practitioner Su; they often send spacecraft to explore or even have their entire planet come to seek Spiritual Deliverance."
"Looking at her human body, Practitioner Su’s walking is truly Divine Foot in action. At seventy-three years old, even young people have to jog to keep up with her. With the broken body I had during my life, if I were walking beside Practitioner Su, I certainly would not have been able to keep pace. Practitioner Su is the best spokesperson for successful practice."
