This is a record of an interview with Steve Jobs, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and reflects upon his life and the profound, often hidden, impact of his technological creations on the human spirit. This testimony was recorded by the chief writer, Shi Faxin, on August 12, 2017.

Steve Jobs speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. I am Steve Jobs. In the United States, we have long considered ourselves the leaders of the entire world. Every move we make, every policy we enact, and every trend we set is designed to lead the global current. With our immense influence, our military strength, and our economic reach, anything the United States chooses to promote is destined to become a massive commercial success. In this modern era, war is no longer fought solely with weapons; economic warfare has become a sophisticated form of reform. As the world's superpower, we have the power to dictate the agenda. Whatever we wish to push, whatever we wish to implement, is never a significant obstacle. Every move the world makes is, in essence, within our grasp.

The Vanity of the Apple Ecosystem

The products pioneered by Apple Inc. have naturally become the mainstream of the world. The iPhone, in particular, has been deeply embedded into the human heart. When a person holds an Apple phone, they feel as though they are clutching a high-end treasure. It is as if their very social status and personal quality have been elevated by the device. You see them everywhere—on the streets, on public transport—constantly swiping, swiping, swiping! But what are they actually swiping for? What vital information are they trying to master? In truth, there is nothing there. It is a manifestation of vanity and a profound sense of inner emptiness. This is the human mentality I tapped into when I created the iPhone. Every day at work, I was obsessed with one question: what new development could make humanity even more inseparable from their phones? Perhaps this was my own ambition, or perhaps it was something else entirely.

Demons Within the Network

Do you understand the nature of ghosts? There are ghosts within network technology, do you know that? They are everywhere, at every moment, existing to ensure that people become addicted and unable to extricate themselves. It is a form of technological poisoning. Today, one hundred per cent of humanity is suffering from this technological toxicity. Do you understand? You, the person reading this letter right now, have long been poisoned. You cannot leave your phone behind, can you? You have no way to live a life without the internet, do you? The ghosts, and even the demons, within this technology invade the human spirit bit by bit. They make people accustomed to this state, and before they even realise it, they are completely unable to live without it.

A Legacy of Addiction

To put it plainly, you are addicted to your phone. And I am not just referring to you; I am referring to the entirety of the human race. You might think this is not such a serious matter, but consider the children. Many have already lost their interest in exploring the natural world because of these devices. I have erased the innate talents of children, turning them into tech-addicts at such a tender age. I do not say this to frighten anyone; I am simply stating the truth of the current state of affairs. This is the reality that I, Steve Jobs, set into motion. The extent of my influence has reached every corner of humanity. The entire world is now lost within this digital web. Because I am the one who created it, even the most uncomfortable truths must be spoken by me. I am attempting to help everyone understand the severity of this situation.

The Call for Transformation

Look at Apple Inc. and examine our latest technologies and inventions. Consider their true impact on all of humanity. I am now counseling the company I dedicated my life to—the company I built—to undergo a transformation. As for how this transformation should take place, I must reflect deeply before offering my advice. I must find a way to make amends for everything I have created during my life as Steve Jobs.

Namo Amituofo."
