The Vanishing Kingdom
An Interview with Steve Jobs
Recorded on September 20, 2017
This interview was recorded on September 20, 2017, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Steve Jobs, who sought deliverance through the compassionate guidance of Practitioner Su, shares his observations on the state of the Earth, the consequences of human greed, and the miraculous process of rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Steve Jobs speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I have come for this interview a bit earlier today because I am currently 'in flight' and quite busy. Unlike Practitioner Su, who possesses immeasurable and boundless transformation bodies, I am just me; there is only one Steve Jobs. Today, the energy of goodness in the universe is growing ever stronger. With the greatest , Practitioner Su plants the seeds of goodness into all things, and she always sees the potential for good in this universe.
In truth, I am well aware of the reactions people have when they read the articles I write every day. I am a clever man, but I hold to this: those who believe will always believe, and those who do not will not. One day, when the truth of this place is fully revealed, everything will become clear. What I write down daily is proof of the transformation occurring within the universe. Practitioner Su has made a vow that the Earth will eventually return to a state of distinct, balanced seasons. I believe that the power of such a vow will eventually transform the collective of all humanity. However, the primary cause of these distinct seasons lies within the human heart. If human hearts remain insatiably greedy—always wanting more and more—then the Earth will sink right along with our sinking hearts.
The Mirror of Human Greed
The current, most severe greenhouse effect is a manifestation of the human heart. Competition and conflict are filled with the sparks of fire. One, two, a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand, a billion—each thought forms a substance based on the heart and drifts among the particles of the Earth, deeply influencing every single thing. If you look at the rising global temperature, is it not logical and reasonable to conclude that it is a reflection of our collective state? Today, Practitioner Su, using the great compassionate Buddha-heart—selfless and without ego—sincerely and truthfully resonates with Namo Amituofo, who now resides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Namo Amituofo is the one who leads every single assembly here.
Practitioner Su uses her to visualise everyone returning to their original state. What does it mean to 'return to the original state'? It means that we have all been human before, and because of the karma we each created, we became various forms of life. Once we return to our original state, we become as we were when we were human, and Namo Amituofo compassionately leads us to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Therefore, for those who are fortunate enough to come to this place, once their are invited out, they are all sent to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, truly allowing them to be liberated from suffering. Viewed with equality, they were once people living by our sides; we simply forgot. Leading them to rebirth in the Western Pure Land now is merely fulfilling a small part of our responsibility. I urge everyone to do the same. These truths can only be understood after truly coming into contact with the Buddha’s teachings.
A Warning from the Past
I write this to share with those who have the karmic affinity to see it. If humans do not see it, at least the spirits in the void will know how important it is to seek rebirth in the Western Pure Land. As a human, I ask everyone to contribute a little bit of strength to help our Earth. A single kind thought, a single kind heart, is enough. Do not underestimate this positive energy; it brings harmony between people and vitality to the land. You should all understand what I mean. I, Steve Jobs, do not want to spend my days just laughing and joking; I should say something that helps everyone.
Today, what I saw was a vanishing kingdom. Every person in that kingdom appeared to be living in peace and contentment, but during an invasion, the kingdom was ruled and controlled by others. The people were forced to exert their maximum abilities to work for the rulers. Once they had no substantial benefit to offer and could no longer perform, they were eliminated. The result of being eliminated was starvation. It is cruel, but it was the only way to force people to exhaust their maximum potential. The human hearts have gone bad—thoroughly bad—simply because they only considered their own survival. The selfishness at the bottom of the human heart was unearthed, and they no longer trusted one another. The originally kind faces of the people were distorted, for appearance arises from the mind. The final end for the entire village was to be cruelly swallowed by lava, leaving not a single soul behind. This is the Truth: the fate that should befall those whose hearts have gone bad. This vanishing kingdom, the entire village, entered a space together—continuing to endure retribution in that painful space immediately after being swallowed by the lava. It is terrifying, is it not? So, must we humans in this society and on this Earth continue to act so wickedly? I believe Namo Amituofo blessed me to see this today and to speak of it, so that humanity might wake up a little. We humans are not the most remarkable beings, so there is no need to hold ourselves in such high regard. Let nature return to nature, and let the heart return to nature—to that originally good side at the very foundation! You cannot imagine how many Bodhisattvas from the Demon Realm are also returning to goodness every day. Let us humans also move toward this great direction.
The of the Western Land
Hoo-hoo-hoo! Let us relax, let us relax. That was a task I was blessed by Namo Amituofo to speak about. Now that I have finished, I need to relax. I want to talk about something happy. Here, I see celestial beings and fairies dressed in such dignity, people who have come from the heavens, also arriving here to return to the embrace of Namo Amituofo. There are also many who have been meditating; when they arrived, their clothes were very simple, some even with one shoulder exposed. After entering the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, everyone instantly changed into white, with glowing golden lotuses on their chests, emitting compassionate and kind energy. Those who were originally in deep meditation all secretly opened their eyes to look at their clothes—they must have been satisfied! Very quickly, they followed the light and departed. In fact, the things I describe happening every day are all very instantaneous and rapid. Every day is immeasurable and boundless.
One proof of this immeasurable and boundless nature is the clouds. Every tiny point inside a cloud is a person. People with the same personality and habits gather together to form a cloud; that is what they say. Sometimes they fight, chase each other, or play—everything is the same as their habits when they were human. They stay within the space of the cloud to which they belong. People who become clouds all share one common trait: they love freedom. As for the dark clouds, some are depressed and have turned themselves grey, while others have bad tempers, and their hearts are covered in a layer of dust. Why bother! I urge them: life is short, do not be so stubborn, be a happy person! Oh! A cloud just slid past me quickly. I took a few steps forward—though I do not necessarily have to walk; I can keep up with them just by using visualisation. They are a group of children wearing roller skates; no wonder they run so fast. When the Buddha-light arrived, I used my hand to gesture for them to fly even faster, because following behind them was a group of dark-cloud hooligans. Hurry, hurry, hurry! Everyone, head toward the light and the Buddha. After the dark clouds left, I saw immeasurable birds. They were endless. Some stood very straight, as if they thought they were very handsome; some had very beautiful colours, simply because their nature is to love beauty. Those birds that your fourfold assembly says 'shake their tails'—they were the ones who were lively and active and could not sit still when they were alive. Those parrots have an arrogant air, and those swallows simply love their families. It is truly interesting; every day, I watch the drama of life being performed among all things. I know that one cannot go on without changing one's personality! After knowing that I had created heavy karma, I no longer dare to be arrogant. Of course, I have not completely changed to the point of perfection yet. Sometimes, when Practitioner Su praises me, I still feel a little happy. Have you not noticed that the Steve Jobs of today is much younger? Because when the heart has no afflictions, becomes young! Everyone should learn from me. Na-mo-A-mi-tuo-fo! Chant the Buddha-name and have no afflictions; be a young lad. I invite everyone to follow me. Okay. Goodbye."
