The Arrival of the Drunken Immortal

On the tenth of September, 2017, during the , the spirit of the poet Li Bai appeared to offer his guidance. He arrived like the nectar of wisdom, dancing in a state of joyful, stumbling grace. As the drunken immortal, he approached with a heart of constant, blissful purity. He spoke of how he forgets , guided only by the rhythm of his poetry, where every word is a precious gem reflecting his intoxicated, pure nature. He waited in a state of ease, , and purity, declaring that in this space, there was only he, Taibai.

Karmic Affinities Across Time

One might ask why he chose to appear today. He explained that it is because of the karmic affinity we shared in the past. Through the shared appreciation of wine and poetry, we once knew and cherished one another. He expressed his deep admiration for the calm and composure displayed in the current practice. To depart without a word is a form of true freedom; to be unattached and carefree is the mark of a great person who is not stained by the dust of the world.

Reclaiming the Inner Treasure

He observed the practitioner in her current life, noting her existence as a pure Bhikshuni. He offered a vital insight: if one could truly see the depth of their past cultivation, they would realise that complex emotions are not worth a single moment of attachment. He urged the practitioner to seek out and reclaim the treasures hidden within her true nature. Do not let these precious qualities remain hidden or wrapped in layers of delusion. It is a great pity when one's inner radiance is not allowed to shine forth, for it is not worth being dim or sorrowful when one possesses such potential.

The Path of True Practice and Genuine Release

True practice is not a burden; it is the unfolding of the self from within and the genuine release of all that hinders us. When one practises in this way, they can move through life with ease, finding a joy that never tires. This is the path of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. He concluded with a powerful exhortation: exert your great strength to save the world and save all beings from suffering. This message was recorded by the chief writer, Buddha's disciple Shi Fajing.
