The Illusion of Ease

We often drift through our lives with a false sense of ease, believing that we are in control of our own destinies. We leave the doors of our hearts wide open to the world, yet in doing so, we become like puppets. We allow ourselves to be manipulated by external circumstances, unaware that we have surrendered our autonomy to the whims of fate. We do not realise the gravity of our situation, nor do we see the danger that lies in this state of spiritual slumber. People in this world are lost, sinking deep into the mire of samsara, driven by the relentless demands of the ego: I love, I desire, and I want.

The Chains of Attachment

Various temptations trap us firmly within this Saha world. These attachments act as heavy chains that bind us, preventing us from making any genuine progress on the path to . Whether it is romantic love, friendship, or the myriad of other emotions that tether us to the cycle of rebirth, these attachments act like ropes, binding us tightly and obstructing our forward momentum. We find ourselves caught in a constant struggle, pulled between the desire to move forward and the tendency to fall back into old habits. Consequently, we remain stuck, walking in place. Day after day passes, and each day looks exactly like the last, devoid of the transformation that comes from true practice.

The Urgency of Repentance

Like grains of sand falling through an hourglass, our precious time slips away into the irreversible ocean of history. We drift and sink, crying out in our confusion as we lose our way. Why do we refuse to listen to wise counseling? We must stop and look inward. We must face the layers of karmic causes stored deep within our own hearts. By confronting these layers one by one, true repentance begins. It is only through this process of honest self-reflection that we can begin to clear the obstacles that have held us back for so long.

Returning to the Pure Path

You must learn to treat your own spirit with . Do not allow yourself to be drawn back into —the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touches, and thoughts that distract us from our true nature. Cherish and grasp the present moment, for it is the only time in which you can truly practise. By letting go of the illusions that bind you, you can walk the path of pure goodness and purity toward the of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amituofo.
