The Sacred Bridge to the
The is a profound and sacred event held at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. It serves as a bridge, allowing the light of Namo Amituofo to reach those who are lost in the cycle of rebirth. On the nineteenth of August, 2018, during the midday offering of the ceremony, Practitioner Su provided compassionate guidance to several spirits, helping them transcend their suffering and find rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Venerable HaiZe, witnessing this miraculous event, invited these spirits to share their experiences so that others might find faith in the path of the Buddha.
The spirits who were guided to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss on this day included Gu Chengyun, the former Chairman of Taiwan Cement; Guo Xingchang, the former Vice President of China Airlines; Zhong Canzeng, the father of Venerable Dinghong; Guan Jun, the grandfather of the fourfold assembly disciples; and Carmela, a domestic helper who served the Guan family. Each of these individuals, through the power of the Buddha and the guidance of Practitioner Su, was able to leave behind the burdens of their past lives and enter the realm of eternal peace.
The Compassionate Guidance of Practitioner Su
Gu Chengyun, the former Chairman of Taiwan Cement, shared his experience with deep gratitude. He recounted seeing his father, Gu Zhenfu, waiting for him in the distance. Overcome with , he moved forward, and with Practitioner Su holding his hand, he entered the Western Pure Land with ease. He expressed that with Practitioner Su present, the journey to the Western Pure Land is not difficult at all; it is right before one's eyes. He offered his heartfelt thanks to Practitioner Su and to all the virtuous members of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
Zhong Canzeng, the father of Venerable Dinghong, spoke with awe. He confirmed that the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is truly real. Under the guidance of Practitioner Su, he arrived in this magnificent place in what felt like only a fleeting moment. He found the experience to be truly inconceivable. He encouraged his son, Venerable Dinghong, noting that if he could continue to help others reach the Western Pure Land through these ceremonies, his life would be profoundly meaningful. He bowed in gratitude to Practitioner Su and all the Venerables and volunteers at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, chanting the name of Namo Amituofo.
A Dream Realised
Guo Xingchang, the former Vice President of China Airlines, expressed his immense joy. With the support of Practitioner Su and his two sons, Minjing, he successfully reached the Western Pure Land. He described stepping onto that sacred ground as the fulfilment of a long-held dream. He extended his deepest thanks to Practitioner Su, to Minjing, and to everyone at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre for their selfless assistance.
Guan Jun, the grandfather of the disciples Fawu, Faming, and Fali, addressed his grandchildren directly. He told them that because they were present, they could witness Practitioner Su guiding him to the Western Pure Land. He urged them to remember this moment forever, reminding them that regardless of the wealth or status one might pursue in life, this moment of liberation is the true goal of existence. He asked them to convey this message to Xingying and all their family members, expressing his profound gratitude to Namo Amituofo, Practitioner Su, and all the Venerables and volunteers.
The Universality of
Carmela, the domestic helper for the Guan family, shared a touching perspective. She admitted that she never expected someone of her humble status to be able to enter such a beautiful and magnificent place. She spoke of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss as a realm she had often heard spoken of, but never dared to imagine she would reach. She thanked Practitioner Su for guiding her there and expressed her gratitude to her two young masters, now known as Fawu and Faming.
She encouraged them to continue their practice, noting that the voice of her master, Faming, was even more beautiful when he chanted loudly. She compared it to the times when they were at home; if she did not answer when called, he would call out louder, and that same volume was perfect for the . This testimony, recorded by Venerable HaiZe, serves as a testament to the fact that the compassion of Namo Amituofo knows no bounds and that all beings, regardless of their station in life, can find their way home to the Western Pure Land.
