Mahatma Gandhi in the Western Pure Land

This is a record of an interview with Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon his life and his journey to the Pure Land. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa Ru, on May 12, 2026.

Mahatma Gandhi speaks:

“I have been in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss for over a decade now. It was more than ten years ago that Practitioner Su brought me to the Buddha hall and guided me into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This experience truly broadened my horizons. I had never imagined that there could be such powerful religious figures and beings from the spiritual realms who possessed the methods to save souls from across the globe. At the time of my passing, I did not have a complete or thorough understanding of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss or the nature of the spiritual realms.

After I died, I was still suffering in a realm that I hold upon. No one knew then that I was still trapped in that final moment of my passing, enduring the agony of the gunshot wound that ended my life.”

The Unfinished Mission

“Although I endured various forms of suffering throughout my life, the greatest pain I felt was knowing that my mission remained unfinished at the moment of my death.

I still had my body—it was still strong and capable—and there was so much more I could have contributed.

The environment and society at that time had not yet fully stabilised. The people’s hearts were filled with uncertainty, and they lacked a true goal to follow.

I was regarded as a spiritual leader, and I knew that this was not a position for arrogance, but a heavy responsibility towards society and the people.

Faced with the religious conflicts of that era, I believed I could have continued to help the people of India and Pakistan, shielding them from the threats of war and saving them from death and religious persecution.

But my life was limited; it had to end in such a manner, which was never part of my vision.

In the nation of India, there have been deep-seated inequalities and ethnic tensions since ancient times. Ever since India fell under British rule, the Indian people were naturally relegated to a lower status.”

The Struggle for Basic Respect

“My heart was set on helping the people of India truly stand tall, to be filled with confidence in their own nation, and to restore the basic respect they deserved.

At that time, India was generally suppressed by the British government and ignored. The important government positions were held by the British, while Indians were treated as second-class citizens.

In terms of religious belief, the Hinduism and Islam practised by Indians were also viewed as inferior compared to the Christianity of the British. Most British people looked upon Indians as a lower class of people, believing they were only fit to provide cheap labour and could not be treated as true citizens of a country.

Consequently, Indians at that time had few opportunities to enter politics or the central government; they were forced to accept second-class status, second-class treatment, education, and living conditions.

My participation in various social movements and protests was not intended to incite ethnic conflict, but to help people establish a fundamental concept of equality. In India, the concept of inequality was far too severe, so the pursuit of equality became the theme of my entire life.”

Defining True Equality

“What I mean by equality is the ‘equality of all beings’. Part of the reason I advocated for a non-meat diet was my belief that there is no hierarchy among lives; we should not assume that humans are superior to animals and thus have the right to consume them.

My advocacy for celibacy stemmed from the severe gender inequality in India. The crux of this issue was the desire between men and women, which led to a lack of respect for women.

Celibacy could effectively promote gender equality. I took a vow of celibacy in my middle age, using this concrete action to advocate for equality between the sexes. Celibacy and faithfulness to one’s partner were fundamental demands for equality.

Furthermore, my advocacy for abstinence from alcohol and fasting was a plea for equality across different classes and economic strata.

Although my work and economic capacity were superior to those of the majority of India’s impoverished population, I still believed that people should empathise with one another, reduce unnecessary luxuries, and break the barriers of wealth inequality.

Therefore, I took the initiative to abstain from alcohol, fast, and even wear very simple clothing. These ascetic-like behaviours were meant to help people understand that those of different wealth levels are all equal.

Deep within the human heart, the great soul is not defined by status, position, gender, religion, nation, or race. Everyone’s soul is truly magnificent; the Truth exists within all of our souls.

This is the core spirit I arrived at after years of contemplation. To promote this concept and to alleviate the many social problems in India, I actively propagated these ideas.”

The Limitations of Worldly Reform

“The greatest and most severe problems in India at that time, regardless of the aspect or field, largely stemmed from various concepts of inequality.

If these concepts could be eliminated, allowing people to be truly equal and enabling different ethnic groups, religions, and genders to share a consistent consensus and perspective, then the social problems of India at that time would have been greatly reduced.

I also knew that this would go against many who held vested interests and would create opposition from various groups and those in power. However, helping the Indian people was what I was most passionate about.

I was only one person. It was extremely difficult to change the vast population, the government, and the regime of that time with my own strength and body.

With no one who could truly help me, I believed that engaging in various non-cooperation movements and hunger strikes was the only way to quickly make the people aware of these issues and to secretly support the concept of equality.

However, this equality referred to worldly matters—material wealth, status, personality, gender, and religion.  At the level of the soul’s essence, everyone is already equal, and there is no need to distinguish between them.

It is just a pity that I did not fully understand these principles at the time.

Although I knew how to promote the concept of equality, I overlooked a key point: the Buddhist teaching of escaping the cycle of rebirth.

While I had perused the sutras of Buddhism and Hinduism, I was too dismissive of the Buddhist concept of ‘escaping the six realms of rebirth’. Consequently, the principles and teachings I promoted were all based on the limited, phenomenal things of this world, and I used these to propagate my ideas.”

The Necessity of Escaping Samsara

“However, this approach was not truly the ultimate method. The fundamental reason is that even if one achieves equal treatment in the human world, even if the systems and laws are relatively equal, and even if different ethnic groups, peoples, and religions have equal room for development, this still does not fundamentally solve the problem of human suffering—the cycle of birth, ageing, sickness, and death.

Even if India became independent from Britain, and even if religious equality and multiculturalism were gradually accepted by the Indian people, not a single person had ‘escaped the six realms of rebirth’.

The importance of escaping the six realms of rebirth lies in the fact that all things in this universe operate according to fixed laws;  it is a state of flow within the Law of Cause, Condition, and Effect. Pursuing equality in worldly phenomena is merely a manifestation of ‘equality in appearance’ brought about by the flow of .

It is like a fleeting equality that slowly forms gaps again. To achieve true equality, one must not seek this superficial equality; one must first escape this limited world.

In India, natural and man-made disasters occur frequently. Possessing wealth for a moment does not mean one can possess it eternally.

If one does not understand the principles of doing good and accumulating merit, does not understand how to escape the six realms of rebirth, and does not understand the Law of Cause, Condition, and Effect, even if one briefly gains wealth, one can return to poverty amidst impermanence.

When life ends, one is reincarnated within the six realms, and whether one will be poor or rich is unknown.

Power, fame, wealth, talent, and so on—all are like this.

Therefore, pursuing equality in worldly affairs, such as gender equality or religious equality, cannot truly end the various sufferings of the human world.

Just as India gained independence from the British system and began to restore its right to self-governance, it allowed the Indian people to restore their status in the nation. But the subsequent religious problems and the massive migration of people led to even more profound consequences.

These were all manifestations of the natural laws of cause and effect within impermanence; they were proofs of the operation of karma. In fact, a human life is very short, and the human body is very fragile.

I often practised asceticism and travelled across the land throughout my life. However, these methods could not truly bring people real liberation.”

The Pure Nature of the Soul

“Escaping the six realms of rebirth is one of the most classic and core concepts of Buddhism. If one cannot ultimately escape the six realms of rebirth, then everything in this world is just a flash in the pan. It belongs to the Law of Cause, Condition, and Effect, which no one can control.

It is just that at the time, I did not pay attention to this key point; I only hoped to awaken people to their own positioning and their understanding of value in society through practical and various public activities.

Decades after I passed away, Practitioner Su helped me escape that space where I was confined, and subsequently, I arrived at the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I carefully observed every blade of grass, every tree, every flower, and every bird.

In essence, they are all exactly the same. On Earth, people distinguish between humans and animals or plants, but for the beings in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, this is not the case.

Everything I see is an equal spirit; all possess an equal Buddha-nature and are exactly the same existence.

Therefore, just by looking at the ‘Buddha-nature’, or the fact that everyone in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss looks exactly the same, one can know that all beings and spirits are equal Buddhas.

This Buddha is the manifestation of the purest and most virtuous aspect deep within one’s own soul. There is no attachment to the many external appearances and things; instead, they coexist in the world in a peaceful and equal manner.

In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, many souls have accepted the Buddha’s education and transformation, manifesting the brightest side of their own souls.

This is the Truth commonly understood by people of other religions, and it is the existence that is truly like a god, representing the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path. This is the reality of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss: every spirit is a Buddha-spirit, possessing profound Buddha-heart and Buddha-vows.

This is the true perspective of oneness, the very essence of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. In this Buddha-land, within the very cells of the Buddha, everything one sees, hears, touches, tastes, and perceives is a manifestation of this Buddha-heart and Buddha-spirit.

If you could all immigrate to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss to study, I am certain you would gain a much more thorough understanding of the praise I now offer for this Pure Land.”

The Lingering Shadows of Division

“From the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have observed that India, throughout its long history of development, has been severely influenced by various religions and the cultural conditioning of British colonial rule. Even in the modern era, despite the rise of in many areas, India remains trapped in a state of severe fragmentation. Whether it is the divide between rich and poor, the friction between religions, or the imbalance of the caste system, these issues persist.

At the time, although I strove to eliminate these problems and hoped that people would take them seriously, I was met only with torture and interrogation. Even today, these phenomena remain. This proves that even if one uses political means or protests to awaken people to these realities, the effect remains limited.”

The Root of the Problem: A Lack of True Education

“I can understand how these generational concepts are passed down.

On one hand, it comes from the education provided by family and relatives; on the other, it stems from the complex values instilled by schools and society. These fundamental problems exist because there is no unified, complete curriculum or Buddhist education for people to learn from.

If we could promote and explain these truths in India, letting the children of India know the true principles by which the universe operates and understand the actual Truth—even if such principles seem abstract and profound—it would change everything.

The current state of affairs exists precisely because true Buddhist education has not been promoted.”

The Key to Harmony

“Although I studied Buddhism during my life, I never realised that it contained such profound insights into the concept of equality. I never imagined that the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss was the true key to resolving conflicts of race, culture, and wealth.

This is not just about helping people immigrate to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss after they pass away to enjoy incomparable equality and oneness. More importantly, it means that while we are still in this world, we can build a human Buddha-land.

We can set the goal for people of different races, religious beliefs, cultures, and genders to build a Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss here in the human world. By helping everyone learn and understand the concept of oneness as early as possible, we can reduce conflicts between different groups and decrease the unequal treatment caused by discrimination.”

Beyond Protest: The Power of the Heart

“These acts of discrimination are, in truth, pointless provocations of conflict. At the time, I did not understand this principle.

To protect the interests of the masses and ensure everyone enjoys equal treatment, one must promote Buddhist education in the world. Only when people truly learn this great can they make fundamental changes from the heart, from the deepest depths of their being, rather than trying to awaken people through struggle or protest.

Of course, my actions, including the non-cooperation movements and fasting, did indeed draw people’s attention.

However, with my own strength, I could not provide the masses with complete follow-up education or give them the correct goals for their life’s development after drawing their attention.

I could only point out the problems and make people aware of their severity.”

The Trap of Superficial Virtue

“Even if people understood the problems on a conscious level, their subsequent development could hardly follow the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path. The core obstacle is that for most people, their understanding of virtue remains limited to empty slogans, and they lack a thorough practical guide for how to implement it in real life.

Furthermore, in the tasks of spiritual growth and overcoming inner desires, without the guidance of Buddhist education, it is difficult to grasp a truly thorough and transparent solution.

This causes practice and improvement to remain on the surface.

The status quo often evolves into relying on forced willpower or various external means to constrain one’s behaviour. This approach, which treats the symptoms but not the root cause, can never reach or truly transform the thoughts and the root of one’s ideas deep within the heart.”

The True Meaning of Practice

“Among the many concepts I promoted—vegetarianism, abstinence from alcohol, honesty, integrity, virtue, and self-restraint—all were intended to help people avoid creating karma and to prevent them from harming others or society for the sake of personal gain and individual desire.

These concepts reflected the many social and psychological problems of that time. Indeed, people generally acted out of selfish desire, leading to many extreme and irrational behaviours, even causing harm to other groups, which is one of the reasons for conflict.

Although I promoted these important concepts and practices through my own personal verification, they ultimately remained methods of practice within the human world.

These methods can indeed reduce the creation of karma by human beings and significantly lower one’s desires, but this is not the ultimate Buddha’s teachings.

After studying in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I finally understood that a true breakthrough in practice does not rely solely on external norms and guidelines, but on changing one’s latent habits and character traits from the depths of the heart.”

The Path to

“The most important key is to truly develop the heart to think for others, to put others first, and to achieve a state of no-self and selflessness. Without this foundation, even if one is forced to follow various guidelines, one cannot truly overcome the many desires and messy thoughts deep within the heart.

The fundamental reason is this: if it is not done with a sincere heart for others, these formal guidelines are merely requirements imposed on the external appearance. Only by re-vowing from the root and sincerely wanting to help others can one make a transformation from the heart.

Looking back on my journey, I was also sincerely giving for others, conducting hunger strikes and various activities to help people.

Although my heart was set on this, I neglected to manifest this fact clearly. I proposed slogans of virtue such as non-violence, patience, integrity, honesty, and self-restraint, but these were not the most fundamental keys.

The true key is this: when a person makes various efforts for others with a sincere heart, they will naturally possess all the aforementioned conditions. These virtues should not be deliberately crafted, slogans of self-demand, or shackles and imposed upon oneself. These qualities are the true situation that naturally flows out during the process of striving for others from one’s own heart.

Only in this way is it possible to truly overcome one’s desires and the test of this so-called demon nature.”

A Life of Responsibility

“I promoted many activities during my life, which made me a well-known figure in India, even regarded by the masses as a spiritual leader. Therefore, I knew my responsibility was heavy, but I did not actually pursue this fame. Compared to empty fame, such a status is meaningless if it cannot bring essential improvements to the lives of the people.

Even though the British agreed to India’s independence and my ideas were widely disseminated and accepted, in actual execution, people did not successfully overcome their many inner desires.

Even though they knew the principles I personally demonstrated were meant for them to learn such virtues, when faced with tests, people still could not overcome their own desires.

Facing conflicts between different groups, wealth, and religions, people still chose to pursue their own interests and the priority interests of their groups. In fact, such goals provided no real help to people; everyone lacked a true direction in life.”

The Clarity of the Pure Land

“Therefore, I feel quite lamentable. Could adopting such methods of protest—non-cooperation and fasting—really help everyone improve the problems of group and religious conflict at that time?

This was one of the many tests in my life. Among these tests, I believe they were all part of a process that helped me see the suffering of the human world step by step. In the course of my life’s growth, I came into contact with diverse groups, religions, and cultures, and I learned about the differences between different groups.

However, after reading a vast amount of religious texts and the sutras of various religions, I slowly realised that these gaps were only superficial and not real. I was determined to eliminate these conflicts and conducted a series of experiments to prove my philosophy.

It is a pity that people always regarded me as a political tool, a political means, and a political spiritual leader, and did not truly understand the real meaning I wanted to convey.

The fundamental reason for all this still lies in the fact that when faced with many ideas, no matter how good or correct the ideas are, people still cannot overcome their own desires.

At the time, I did not understand why this was the case, but later, after arriving in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, looking at the people of India, I realised they did not understand the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path, and I suddenly understood completely.

The selfishness and self-centeredness of people actually come from the problems of postnatal education. If there were education that could teach people true selflessness, purity, and goodness, then these selfish thoughts and concepts would not appear.

This education does not just come from schools or books, but in the process of everyone’s growth, everything one sees with the eyes, hears with the ears, and encounters is education.

Therefore, the importance of environment and education is reflected in whether a person can eventually succeed in overcoming their own desires, and how serious a level of selfishness and ego a person will develop.

These processes proceed naturally within the Law of Cause, Condition, and Effect, but at the time, I was indeed trying to improve this situation. The reason I failed to effectively solve these problems was that, in reality, there are many Spiritual Attachments.

At the time, I thought there was only one spirit in a person’s body, but after arriving in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, with a pure and clean heart and eyes, I could see clearly that all people on this earth are filled with immeasurable and boundless, countless Spiritual Attachments.”

“At the moment of birth, while these spirits exist, they do not yet influence the operation of the Primary Spirit—the soul that truly belongs to . However, once a person encounters erroneous concepts or allows incorrect thoughts and desires to arise in their heart, they awaken the beings within their body who share those same desires and concepts. These beings then further reinforce and amplify such selfishness and desire, causing a person’s character and ego to become increasingly intense until it reaches a point where it is difficult to change.

Beyond the spirits within our bodies, beings from the spiritual realms and the external world also control humans, causing them to possess even stronger personalities and selfishness.

These external beings, who possess extremely strong characters, are known as ‘Demonic Beings’. They rely on the selfish and powerful personalities of humans to extract energy from them.

When a person’s character resonates with these external spirits or Demonic Beings, they can even go a step further to control the person’s body and extract energy from it.”

The Web of Influence

“Therefore, there are vast, immeasurable, and boundless Demonic Beings waiting for the right moment to induce people to have negative thoughts, selfishness, or attachments to things.

These character traits are the directions in which the Demonic Beings can exert their influence; they are the results of the Demonic Beings using these traits to control people, working in ‘internal and external coordination’ with the beings already residing within the body.

This also explains why, as people grow older, they remain unable to overcome their own character and habits, even after coming into contact with correct concepts and methods of change.

No matter how many religions or Dharma methods one practices—whether through spiritual cultivation, yoga, or various Hindu methods—one ultimately fails to break through the obstacles in their practice and cannot overcome their own desires.”

The Root of the Problem

“The fundamental reason lies in the fact that they did not receive the correct education from childhood. Even if many desires are suppressed on the surface, they are not truly severed within the heart. In a state where one is constantly controlled by internal spirits and external Demonic Beings, most of the time, individuals are unable to be the masters of their own lives. They cannot truly use virtue and moral foundations to restrain their selfishness and desires. The reason I can see this so clearly now is that I am observing the beings of the human world from the perspective of a ‘spirit’ in the

Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss

The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a world that is extremely clean, pure, and filled with virtue and infinite beauty.

Here, there are no selfish thoughts and no desires; there is only pure spiritual self-elevation, which allows for a more thorough observation of the suffering of sentient beings.

Practising in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss helps one cultivate a ‘true heart’—a heart that genuinely comes from within, a heart that is willing to help others, and is even willing to sacrifice oneself for others while ignoring one’s own .

 We call this the ‘Buddha-heart’.”

The Heart of Truth

“This is also the truth mentioned in various religions; such a heart is the ‘Heart of Truth’. Truth is God. In many religions, God is an existence that guides people toward the righteous path and a world of light, and is regarded as the supreme object of common reverence. However, the true God does not come from a fictional or imagined supreme existence, but originates from the depths of every person’s heart.

When everyone can truly let go of , overcome their own desires, and resolve to live for others; when people can be friendly and inclusive of the various inequalities, gaps, and religious differences in the world; when they can embrace everyone’s personality and help others in the purest and most virtuous way—this true heart is the true God in the world, and it is also God in the hearts of people. This power permeates the unchanging principles of the universe; therefore, it can be called the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path, the truth of the world, or the virtue and morality that people understand.

In Buddhism, this is called ‘Buddha’. When the Buddha’s teachings say that ‘everyone is a Buddha’, it refers to the fact that everyone possesses this morality and truth within their heart, which is what we call the ‘true self’.”

The Obscured Self

“Everyone has a true self, but it has been obscured.

Because of incorrect education later in life, people are deluded by the illusory scenes of the world, giving rise to many evil thoughts and selfish ideas, which causes the God within the heart to be obscured and unable to manifest.

If one can accept Buddhist education, learn virtue and the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path, one can naturally find the truth again and recover the soul that belongs to God.

This divinity has always existed in everyone’s heart. It is the supreme spiritual power and the key to truly mastering everything and subsequently transforming and changing one’s own karma.

In fact, these many principles are explained in different religions, though the clarity of these explanations varies slightly. It was only after I arrived in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and studied under Namo Amituofo that I truly understood these most profound principles.

Looking back, it turns out that the doctrines and philosophies of various religions are not as shallow as ordinary people understand them to be, nor are they merely spiritual guidelines formulated for the short-term achievements of a single lifetime in the human world.”

The Essence of Religion

“The true core value of the Buddha’s teachings lies in spiritual elevation and the practice and learning of that soul and spiritual power which can truly sacrifice oneself for others.

This is the true essence of all religions. However, I must also admit that without the clear and thorough teaching and explanation of Namo Amituofo, even to this day, I would likely still have only a superficial understanding of the core and principles of all these religions.

When I was in the human world, my understanding of these religions was limited to how to translate these abstract concepts into practical methods for people to follow or into a spiritual guide that could be adhered to.

But regarding true spiritual elevation and the core spirit of sacrificing oneself for others, I did not have much insight. And as for the extremely complex nature of the spirits within the body, as well as the interference from external , I knew nothing of these things. Namo Amituofo, however, has explained these facts and truths very clearly, which makes me feel immense admiration and respect.

But I also understand that since I can clearly and plainly see these facts and truths in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, Namo Amituofo, who built the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, can naturally understand the truth of this universe even more thoroughly, as well as the true secrets of the soul within every person.”

A Beacon in the Darkness

“Right now, Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are vigorously promoting this Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path in the human world, which is also an education that promotes virtue and improves the human heart. Such a thing is exactly what my true goal was initially, and it has even reached a realm I could never have attained. This is because saving the beings of the human world is only one of the tasks Namo Amituofo has come to this world for. Most importantly, it is to help the spirits wandering in this human world—souls with nowhere to go—so that they have a home. Practitioner Su vigorously performs for various spiritual realms, helping them, and numerous spirits are able to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, ending their lives of drifting through space.

This is something that has truly not happened for thousands of years.

Thousands of years ago, when Shakyamuni Buddha was born in India, there was indeed such a penetrating understanding, and there was a very deep knowledge of the spirit realms, the human world, and the beings of all realms.

He also helped the beings of the human world and the spirit realms, enabling them to open their wisdom and escape the sea of suffering. However, later on, as the Buddha’s teachings declined and various religions rose and fell, they actually gradually forgot the core essence of religion and this true way of saving people and spirits.

It was not until modern times, when Practitioner Su began to perform Chao Du for the beings of all realms on Earth and led Namo Amituofo to guide the beings of the spirit realms, that the core essence of the Buddha’s teachings was revealed once again, and the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path, the so-called truth, and the essence of the true God were truly manifested.

This makes me feel very respectful, and I also know that such an opportunity is very hard to come by.”

The Role of the Practitioner

“From what I have learned so far, regardless of which true God, truth, or Buddha it is, if there is no corresponding agent in the human world on Earth, then the God or Buddha cannot remain in the world to help people.

This is because everything people experience, from daily life to the final birth, ageing, sickness, and death, is a natural operation within the Law of Cause, Condition, and Effect. This originates from the past of immeasurable eons ago and also concerns the future of immeasurable eons to come. In this process, the Buddha is the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path, and cannot interfere with people’s karma. Unless a great practitioner in the human world makes a vow, is willing to save sentient beings, and takes on the many sufferings and the clearing of karma on behalf of sentient beings, they cannot truly help people.

Only when such a heart has accepted heavy trials, truly has no self, is entirely for the sake of all beings, and is willing to sacrifice oneself and endure all kinds of suffering without any retreat—only in such a situation can one be called an agent of the Buddha, and only then can the Buddha, the truth, the righteous path, and the true God reside in the world.

At this time, I must also honestly report such good news to everyone: right now, the Teaching Master of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, Namo Amituofo, is residing at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia because Practitioner Su of the human world has made a vow to take on the suffering of sentient beings, has endured much torment without retreating, has no complaints, and is continuously saving sentient beings.

This is located in a remote area of Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.

However, because Namo Amituofo is residing here, it radiates incomparable light all day long.

For the beings of the spirit realms, it can be said to be a lighthouse in the dark ocean, a ray of light that saves everyone.

Many beings in the spirit realms already know about this and are waiting for the correct timing so that they can come to the temple to seek Chao Du, or be rescued by Practitioner Su’s salvation team.

Practitioner Su’s salvation team has been performing Chao Du in this world for over ten years.

Every time, Practitioner Su leads an immeasurable salvation team, as well as hundreds of billions of his own manifestations and Dharma Bodies, to travel to all parts of the world and the entire universe to perform Chao Du.

This Chao Du means inviting Namo Amituofo to shine light in various spaces, breaking the blockade of space, liberating the spirits within those spaces, and helping them enter the ‘’ at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. And this Western Dharma-Nature Land is a transit station for going to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss; it is a Dharma-Nature world formed naturally within the laws of karma by Practitioner Su’s vow. Namo Amituofo.”

“Within this world, the environment is filled with light, brilliance, and the ability to manifest whatever one desires. Once spirits enter this realm, they no longer need to suffer within the confines of space; instead, they can enjoy incomparable comfort and stability. Within the Western Dharma-Nature Land, one can listen to the teachings of Namo Amituofo and Great Master Xuanzang, as well as the Dharma talks given by Practitioner Su.

From these, one can learn the profound Buddha’s teachings and, after hearing the Dharma, come to understand the vital importance of seeking rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Upon hearing these truths, one can make the vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

At that moment, one can truly and thoroughly escape the cycle of rebirth and no longer need to endure suffering.”

The Ultimate Method of Deliverance

“After I understood these things, I became even more filled with admiration for Practitioner Su’s ability to save the world and deliver beings. After all, back in my time, I exhausted every ounce of my energy, yet I could not truly help people or spirits escape the cycle of rebirth. But now, Practitioner Su, acting as the agent for Namo Amituofo, is truly able to help human beings and spirits be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, thoroughly escaping the pain of the cycle of rebirth. This is truly the most ultimate and magnificent method.

The beauty of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is not merely that it is a world of ultimate equality and oneness, as I mentioned before, but that within it, one can truly be incomparably free and have all wishes fulfilled. Within that realm, one can truly eliminate all interference from Karmic Creditors and the invasion of selfish desires, allowing one to focus entirely on spiritual elevation—a level of practice that is difficult to achieve in the human world.

This is also the magnificent and dignified Buddha-land achieved only because Namo Amituofo made the Ultimate Vow, practiced for a long time, and accumulated merit and virtue.

It is a world achieved because Namo Amituofo has countless times taken on the suffering of beings on their behalf.”

The Purity of the Buddha-Heart

“Within this world, people can use their sincere hearts to accept the Buddha-heart, merging with it to elevate the purity of their own hearts and enhance that which truly considers the well-being of others and the elevation of spirits.

By elevating one’s compassion and spiritual level, one can more thoroughly understand the myriad phenomena of this world.

From emotions, fame, and career to various physiological needs, these are actually all illusions; they are the reasons why one’s spirituality remains murky and unable to be elevated.

In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, there is no illness, no pain, no limitation of lifespan, and no darkness—only infinite light.

If you wish to visit the entire world or the entire universe, you can arrive with just a single thought. All the food, clothing, treasures, and housing one might need are all provided and available; they appear when you want them and naturally vanish into the air when you no longer need them.

This is the meaning of incomparable magnificence and freedom.”

A Message to My Fellow Indians

“When I was alive, I never imagined such a beautiful, perfect world existed. Yet, at this very moment, I sincerely wish to introduce the beauty of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss to people all over the world, especially to my fellow countrymen in India.

In modern times, the competition and pressure for survival have become increasingly obvious and severe, and desires have become even harder to control. This is all because people are too attached to everything in this world, believing that everything here is real, which leads to so many pursuits and situations that are difficult to let go of.

However, if one can recognise the beauty of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and know that there is a world more perfect than this Earth, one should let go of the attachments and pursuits of this world.

In fact, the righteous path and the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path of the universe, are the only ways to truly survive within the universe; the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a world created based on such core concepts.

The reason it is so perfect, allowing one to do as one wishes and be free without any constraints, is that it is a world naturally established and formed based on the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path.”

The Illusion of Worldly Conflict

“Looking back at people on Earth now, they are doing the exact opposite: paying a huge price for private desires and romantic relationships.

They launch wars for the sake of religious conflicts and opposition between different races, creating hatred and antagonism.

These are all manifestations of the fact that this world is not ultimate, and they are the results of the karma created by people in their past lives.

Therefore, everyone should actively learn Buddhist education, recognise Namo Amituofo and the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path, follow moral foundations in this world, and put them into practice by helping others, so as not to waste this life in vain.

The human body is extremely precious. Once one loses the human body, one is merely a spirit; and the number of spirits in this world is countless times greater than the number of humans, impossible to calculate.

From this, we can see how rare it is to obtain a human body. Most of the time, beings exist as spirits in various spaces, suffering many pains.

Without Buddhist education, the pursuits people have in the human world only lead to the outcome of entering these spaces to suffer at the end of their lives.”

The Necessity of Buddhist Education

“Therefore, learning the Buddha’s teachings is not only to help oneself, but also to enable the beings with whom one has karmic affinity—the closest ones like friends, family, and relatives—to escape the suffering of this world together and truly be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

This is the only way not to waste this life and the only truly meaningful approach.

The Buddha’s teachings once flourished in India and then gradually declined.

There is naturally the operation of Dharma-fortune in this, but regardless of the era, Buddhist education, the Universal Principle, the Truth and the Right Path, morality, and virtues are indispensable spiritual guides for people on this Earth.

Because without this correct direction, people will be at a loss and will only roll around in their karma. The result of creating more sins will only lead them to fall into various spaces at the end, or even enter the hells to undergo punishment.

Therefore, since we can now encounter Practitioner Su and Namo Amituofo residing in the world, and since they can help people on Earth re-learn the Buddha’s teachings during this period, I believe the whole world should seize this opportunity.

As an Indian, recognised by many as a Mahatma and seen as the Father of the Nation, I believe I have an obligation to introduce the importance of the Buddha’s teachings to the Indian people.”

A Universal Science

“I also hope everyone can understand that the Buddha’s teachings are very rare and difficult to encounter.

 It is not a religion, but a very profound, supreme science;

 it permeates all religions, all ethnic groups, and all factions. It has no language barriers or racial divisions;

it is the truth and the principle that all people living on Earth should follow together.

Only in this way can one truly improve one’s life and subsequently elevate one’s spirituality.

From the secular level to the spiritual level, the Buddha’s teachings cover all aspects.

India itself is the birthplace of the Buddha’s teachings and the country where Shakyamuni Buddha originally manifested in the world.

India is filled with many precious Buddhist artifacts, ruins, and temples; the Indian people should not be unfamiliar with the Buddha’s teachings, which also proves the deep Dharma affinity between India and the Buddha’s teachings.

This time, the Buddha’s teachings have been brought back to the world in a new form, overcoming the language barriers of thousands of years, and appearing in the world in a format that everyone can understand and read.

As the people of India, the birthplace of Buddhism, you should be even more active in contacting and learning them.”

Seizing the Opportunity

“If you are interested, you can first search for Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia online to get a preliminary understanding.

In the future, you can closely follow the latest news and developments of the temple. In the near future, you can even come to the temple to participate in group cultivation and truly learn the Buddha’s teachings that people in this world should learn.

This will not only help you but also help the beings and spirits with whom you have karmic affinity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss together.

Only in this way can you truly stay away from the torture of various sufferings in the world, not waste this short life, and become a person who contributes to the world.

For the Indian compatriots who have immigrated to all parts of the world, you actually have a very important mission.

You are people from the birthplace of the Buddha’s teachings and are also the inheritors of the Buddha’s teachings; the heavy responsibility you bear is to promote the Buddha’s teachings to all parts of the world.

In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I have seen that the Indian people have deep roots with the whole world, and there are many Indian compatriots spread across the globe; this is the best bridge for the Buddha’s teachings to connect with the world.

If you have the opportunity to see this interview manuscript and understand the importance of the Buddha’s teachings, you might as well take the initiative to contact and learn.

Once you understand the importance of the Buddha’s teachings, you will be the key to promoting them to more countries and people.

For the Indian people currently in Australia, if you feel a connection with me and also with the Buddha’s teachings, you might as well take the initiative to contact and get close to the temple.

On this land of Australia, your Dharma affinity with Namo Amituofo can be said to be incomparably deep. Compared to those far away in other countries who still have to face the test of visa problems, you are able to have long-term contact with the temple.

You really should seize this incomparably magnificent Dharma affinity. Besides learning the Buddha’s teachings and helping more people know them, you must also pass the Buddha’s teachings to your compatriots in India and people all over the world.

You will be the key to passing on the Buddha’s teachings to English-speaking countries.

Therefore, for those who feel a connection with the Buddha’s teachings, I hope you can commit yourselves wholeheartedly.

If you can feel the pain in life and know the inadequacies and imperfections of the human world, you might as well sincerely learn the Buddha’s teachings.

Even if you keep an experimental attitude, it is fine to make contact; try searching for Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia to understand. Even if it is just a few words, it will bring great help.

For many years, in order to introduce Namo Amituofo to the whole world, Practitioner Su has actively performed Chao Du for beings in various spaces, broken through the obstacles of various demon realms, and continuously delved into deeper demon realms, breaking through spaces that have existed for billion-billion-trillion years, only then being able to slowly expand the Dharma affinity to save all parts of the world.

At this time, the Dharma affinity in India is gradually maturing, and the interview with Gandhi is also a joyous sign of the opening of a Dharma affinity, which means that the vast number of Indian people have the opportunity to contact and learn the Buddha’s teachings.

 I am very happy about this development in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Relying on Practitioner Su to lead the salvation team to continue performing Chao Du, we can have the result that Indian people can be saved today;

but this still requires everyone’s cooperation and also relies on the Buddha’s from Namo Amituofo to truly turn around the collective karma of the Indian people.

 Namo Amituofo.”

“Practitioner Su shares a profound Dharma affinity with India.

Having been born in India many times throughout the cycles of rebirth, Practitioner Su’s sincere heart to save the people of India is a natural manifestation of that deep connection.

As for myself, I was once a practitioner within the Buddha’s gate, and I have also returned from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

However, without encountering the true Great Dharma, it is indeed difficult to achieve the kind of monumental accomplishments that Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su have realised today.”

A Shared Vow for the Indian People

“I have certainly forged a deep karmic affinity with the vast population of India.

Through this interview, I hope to awaken people to the true nature of their own lives. I hope that from these words, the people of India might finally wake up.

Please, do not let this precious Dharma affinity—which Namo Amituofo, Practitioner Su, and I have worked together to facilitate—slip through your fingers.

For the Buddha’s teachings to be promoted and spread throughout this world, every single step is met with immense challenges. Only through bold and powerful breakthroughs can we create the opportunity for the Buddha’s teachings to manifest before the eyes of the people. Therefore, I urge you all to cherish this rare opportunity and actively engage with the Buddha’s teachings.

I am deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for giving me, Gandhi, this chance to share my reflections with the people of India.”

The Courage to Break Through

“Although I have departed from the human world for many years and have gradually been forgotten by the younger generations, my spirit and my vow remain as steadfast as ever.

As long as there is even one person in this world who remembers Gandhi, I will transcend the limitations of time and space to provide guidance and assistance to the masses to the best of my ability.

For those who share a karmic affinity with me, those who are interested in the wisdom I once shared, or those who yearn to delve deeply into the profound mysteries of the Buddha’s teachings—if you feel curious about what I have shared today and wish to understand more, you are most welcome to personally visit Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia.

There, you will have the opportunity to connect with my heart and join me in exploring the true meaning of life.”

A Timeless Connection

“Although I am currently residing in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss and the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia are both places where Namo Amituofo truly dwells.

Therefore, there is no separation between them in terms of space.

Whenever my service is needed, I can arrive at the temple instantly from the Western

Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Through the transmission of heart-to-heart messages, I am able to help people resolve their doubts and untangle the knots within their hearts.

This is my duty, and it is my fundamental obligation.

Having received the grace of the Buddha and the salvation of Namo Amituofo, I have no way to repay such kindness other than by offering my humble efforts to help more people wake up from the nightmare of this suffering-filled worldly realm.

I am deeply grateful to the Fourfold Assembly of Disciples at the temple, and I am grateful to all those who share a karmic affinity with me.

I hope that one day, you will all come to the temple to meet with me.

Namo Amituofo.”
