On the eighth day of the Taiwan, Hong Kong, and World Disaster Relief and Blessing Assembly, we gather to receive the profound guidance of Namo Amituofo. This is a time for deep introspection, a moment to pause and look within at the path we have walked thus far.

The Duality of Human Experience

How have you spent your life? As you stand at this present moment, how do you perceive your current state? Throughout the course of a lifetime, we encounter many events, yet it is often difficult to determine whether these experiences are truly good or bad. When we contemplate the vast span between birth and death, we must ask ourselves: what is the true measure of a life well-lived?

Birth brings with it both great and profound sorrow. Death, while a mystery that is difficult to encounter, is an inevitable destination that we will all eventually face. Within this cycle, the fear of life and death often lingers, refusing to fade away. We carry within us deep-seated anxieties and fears, and we often find ourselves unable to face the reality of our own existence. Impermanence is a constant companion that may arrive at any moment, yet we struggle to let go of our attachments to this transient world.

The Illusory Nature of the World

If you wish to know whether you have lived your life well, you must ask yourself if you truly understand the nature of your experiences. Everything you see is a mixture of the real and the illusory. All that you have experienced is like a dream, a bubble, or a fleeting shadow. We live within a space filled with fantasies and illusions, and because of this, even the things we believe we have gained cannot provide us with true peace of mind.

Our hearts often feel empty, and we find ourselves perpetually unable to feel satisfied. To possess a heart that knows the truth is to understand the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. You must ask yourself: what has your life taught you? What wisdom have you gathered from the encounters you have faced?

Taking Charge of Your Spiritual Destiny

Your life is your own to master. You are the one who must take charge of your journey. Today, Namo Amituofo offers these words to inspire your reflection. When you look at your life, remember that the initial causes you planted have led to the fruits you now experience. Are you awake to this reality? Are you clear about the path you are walking?

It is time to find your way back to your original, free, and luminous spirit. By turning from confusion to , you can transcend the cycle of rebirth and find the peace that you have been seeking. Let your practice be the foundation upon which you build your return to the of Ultimate Bliss.

Namo Amituofo.
