The world we inhabit is vast and white, often shrouded in a thick, blinding mist. This mist represents the deep confusion that clouds our vision, preventing us from seeing the reality of our existence. We are like travellers lost in a dense fog, unable to discern the path ahead or the true nature of the world around us. This is the state of samsara, where the light of wisdom is obscured by the shadows of our own ignorance.
Deep within each of us, there remains the pure, untainted heart of an infant. It is a heart capable of profound clarity and love. However, in the relentless busyness of our daily lives, we become blind to this original nature. We allow ourselves to be swept away by the currents of the world, losing sight of our true purpose. People in this world find it incredibly difficult to transcend their emotions and attachments. We cling to these fleeting , mistaking them for reality, and in doing so, we bind ourselves ever tighter to the cycle of rebirth.
When will you finally let go of these heavy burdens and realise your true nature? It is not that you do not know the way; it is that the knots of your heart are difficult to untie. You have been told the truth many times, yet the habits of the mind are stubborn. Therefore, you must commit yourself to chanting the name of . You must keep the Buddha in your mind with every single breath, allowing the sacred name to wash away the dust of your attachments.
When you exert your own effort in your practice, the Buddha will surely offer His divine assistance. This is the beauty of the path. If your vows are matched by your actions, the power to reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss will naturally arise within you. Faith, Vows, and Practice must work in harmony. There will eventually come a day when your journey, guided by the light of Namo Amituofo, leads you directly into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Do not let this moment pass in vain; cherish your time and walk the path with a steadfast heart.
