Clinging to the Name of Namo Amituofo
An Interview with the Ancient Demon Mo Dengyuan

This is a record of an interview with Mo Dengyuan, an ancient demon who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. He now resides in the . This account reflects upon his existence spanning twelve trillion years. Recorded by the chief writer, Venerable HaiZe, on April 15, 2025.
Mo Dengyuan speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Mo Dengyuan. I have been waiting for quite some time. Ever since Namo Amituofo placed my name on the list of ancient demons to be interviewed, my heart has been filled with . Yet, I wondered, what should I say? Twelve trillion years is not a short time. Where should I even begin to describe my journey through the demon realms? Fortunately, I have just seen the key points indicated by the Buddha, which is wonderful—it gives me a starting point.
A Tragic Origin in the Dark
Let me start with how I became a demon. The planet I inhabited in the Realm was a dark world. I was born in that darkness. This was not my choice; I had no say in the matter. It is just like in the human world—no one can decide where they are born or who their parents are. Only Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Sages who return by vow can choose their parents before entering the womb. Like everyone else, I had parents, but my environment was a space of pure darkness. Therefore, I became accustomed to the dark. To me, it was a natural environment; I never knew what a world of light was. Thinking about it now, that is a very sad thing.
I have now arrived at the Western Dharma-Nature Land at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. That is a long name! But it is worth it, because this place saved us. I have never liked to use my brain to memorise things, so my mind is very agile. If something is lacking, it must be compensated for elsewhere! This was my way of surviving since I grew up in the dark; otherwise, you would quickly be defeated and wither away into the demon realm, living in the lifeless underground.
The Power of Buddha-Light
Beings on dark planets who lack the skills to survive have their spirits quickly driven underground. Some lose even the energy to move; some can still think, while others lose even the power of thought—they truly wither away completely! After Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su brought light into our dark planet, I saw something truly joyful. The dark planet where I once lived has now revived, and the spirits that had withered underground have regained energy and come back to life!
The power of the Buddha-light is truly inconceivable; it can penetrate to the deepest layers of the underground. Some demons hid deep in the earth and never appeared again. I see that this time seems even more ancient than my twelve trillion years. Looking at it now, I can see how many spirits in the spiritual realms are covered and withered, without a sign of life, still waiting to be saved. It is truly miserable!
Universal Principles and the Law of
This time, after the Buddha-light of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su shone across our dark planet, not only did our planet see light again, but the surrounding dark planets also received the energy of revival. I am so grateful. Although I am a demon, after entering the Western Dharma-Nature Land, my inherent good nature seems to be revealing itself bit by bit. Because I never knew what light was, after receiving it, I can feel even more deeply how difficult it was to be autonomous in the darkness. This, too, is the arrangement of karma.
Therefore, the theory of karma and the laws of cause and effect are not just for the six realms of rebirth on Earth. Buddha’s teachings are not just empty words; they are the universal principles, the Truth, and the Right Way that must be followed throughout the entire Dharma Realm and empty space. Namo Amituofo is truly brilliant! His vision and what He sees are not limited to Earth and the beings of the six realms, but cover all beings in the vastness of the Dharma Realm. That is why He tells everyone about these universal principles. At this time, our demon realm has been subdued, seeking surrender, or being sent to the Western Dharma-Nature Land, no longer wandering in the Dharma Realm. If you only look at the rules of Earth, they may not apply, but if you look at them through the lens of universal principles, they apply perfectly. Therefore, the vision of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is not just on Earth; it has already reached the Dharma Realm, the universe, the Milky Way, the heavens beyond heavens, other realms, and even demonic beings.
The Boundless Mind of the Buddha
We know that the Buddha's mind-capacity is boundless. The fact that Namo Amituofo can reside at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre shows that this place can withstand the entry of these powers and can save these beings; every being is waiting for deliverance. Even I, a demon who grew up in the dark, thinking that snatching, competing for hegemony, or defeating other demons was what I was supposed to do in life, only realised after arriving at the Western Dharma-Nature Land that the power of light is so strong. This is the Buddha.
I previously lived in what is called the Demon Realm, so if you want me to introduce the Demon Realm, I can talk at length. But if you want me to introduce the Buddha's path, I can only speak from what I have seen and heard since entering the Western Dharma-Nature Land, but that is enough for me.
The Demon Within Us All
People's spirits may have experienced the same things I did in the dark world. Let me tell you, it is truly so. The Demon Realm is not just us; in fact, many beings have been to the Demon Realm and acted as demons during their beginningless and endless spiritual life. It can be said that there is no realm that beings have not visited. What I am saying is not an exaggeration. Because in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, I can see many things, including the flowers and plants on Earth, the insects on the ground, the crawling and flying creatures, and the beings dwelling within the clouds.
We can also see your . This skill is very natural; I don't know how long it has existed in me. In twelve trillion years, one must develop such abilities to survive in the Demon Realm. You must be able to see through the opponent's weaknesses and strike while they are vulnerable to win. This is a survival requirement for a demon to live to an old age. Conversely, the ability to transform from demon to Buddha, from evil to good, has not disappeared, because I believe I must have had such abilities in the past. These have always existed in my Alaya , and if they are needed now, they naturally manifest.
A Debt of Repentance
If my spirit had been sucked away by the laws of karma, it would have been absolutely miserable. Fortunately, I was saved by Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. I am so grateful! Before this, I had cast spells to attack Practitioner Su, and I must repent to him here. Because I did not know that the Buddha’s teachings were so vast, capable of encompassing the Demon Realm, nor did I know that Practitioner Su was such a kind-hearted Buddha, and I certainly did not know that life in the Western Dharma-Nature Land was like this.
Now that I have gone through this, looking back, I realise how ridiculously wrong I was! I believe many old and ancient demons in the demon realm feel the same way, because we lived in such a self-protective environment. Although we entered samadhi for trillions of years, our personalities did not change. Once we came out of samadhi, if the environment triggered our self-protective nature, we would use all our magic power to defend our demon realm. This is why I previously cast spells to attack Practitioner Su’s eyes, head, and legs. But once Practitioner Su discovered that he was being attacked by demons, I was very quickly sent to the Western Dharma-Nature Land, and I have been living in the light ever since.
The Truth of the Present Moment
What I have said above is truly from the bottom of my heart. I do not lie; if I tell a lie, my whole body feels wrong, and I cannot do demon work, so I only speak the truth. If you hear the truth and find it unpleasant, you are free to leave. I hope the Demon Kings or demon children and grandchildren around me share the same philosophy. If you stay, we can work together; if you have different ideas, feel free to leave, otherwise you will be miserable and so will I. Of course, I will not be influenced by them, but my demon children and grandchildren listen to their nagging every day, venting their unhappiness. I do not wish for this, as it will affect their character and demon nature.
Actually, Buddha’s teachings speak of purification, and demons also need to be purified. Purification in Buddha’s teachings means not listening to idle gossip, lying, or thinking about this and that—those thoughts that are of no use. What has happened in the past, is it useful to think about it? It means don't do these things. I even learned from Practitioner Su recently in the Dharma-Nature Land that if it is a past event, let it pass. Don't think about it anymore; live in the present!
The Power of the Buddha-Name
Thank you, Practitioner Su, for guiding us. This Buddha-name is truly useful; I have started using it! You humans don't know how to use it, but we old and ancient demons in the Dharma-Nature Land treat it as a treasure! This Buddha-name is so useful. I am the same as ordinary people; I think about the past and the future. But after I chant the Buddha’s name, I know what it means to live in the present. Only by chanting the Buddha’s name can I live in the present. When I am not chanting, I think about this and that, and it is very miserable! But you seem to be used to it, while we know the suffering—having gone through this, it was exchanged with our lives.
Speaking of being like-minded, if demons want to leave, let them leave. I see that Practitioner Su is truly compassionate to the extreme. For the people Practitioner Su meets, if they want to leave, he still earnestly advises them, because Practitioner Su sees their future. A benefit of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is that Namo Amituofo, Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su are all 'those with open eyes' who can naturally see the past and future. Practitioner Su sees the future, so he compassionately blocks you, hoping you will not suffer; but if you still let it go in one ear and out the other, or if you are already controlled by the demons or on your body, he cannot stop you.
The Path of Self-Deliverance
If it were my old personality, I would say, 'If you want to leave, go ahead.' But having met the Buddha, I have to learn to advise you a few words. You had better listen to what the Buddha can advise and say, lest you suffer later and it becomes too late. I will say no more; those who understand will listen, and those who don't, there is nothing to be done. This is called gathering due to karmic affinity, and naturally separating when there is no affinity. I see that many of the people Practitioner Su has seen in the past are indeed like this. What kind of separation is it? Most of them go off to live the lives they want, and then experience the separation of sickness, pain, and the suffering of death.
In short, from my perspective now, these are all suffering. If you think you are not suffering, you must be controlled, and there is nothing to be done about that; this is your fate. Although you have to escape your destiny, you do not have enough blessings to live an autonomous life.
I truly admire Practitioner Su. You are truly a Buddha of the human world, knowing the suffering of humans and seeing the cause of suffering, and using the Buddha-heart and great to advise the human world on how to escape suffering. However, Practitioner Su, I feel that everyone has their own karma and their own fate. Advise those who can be advised, and let go of those who cannot; otherwise, if they bite you back later, why bother?
Survival and Sensitivity
Having said that, I am a spirit living in a dark space; from the moment I opened my eyes, it was all darkness. But in the darkness, we learned sensitivity and could see through the darkness to see the other party. Our eyes may not see, but our spiritual sensitivity is quite high. Even if we are placed in a place we have never been, we can rely on our sensitivity to overcome many crises. The smartest method is to stay away. We will not go head-to-head, because we know the principle that there is always someone better, and heavens beyond heavens.
So, if you ask me, Mo Dengyuan, what is the reason I have lived for twelve trillion years, I will tell you all: my sensitivity is high. If I encounter an environment unsuitable for survival, 'running away is the best policy.' I will find a place where I can survive, where I won't be attacked or violated. After all, I have some skills. My skill is that I can see demons, see the environment, and predict things accurately. Sensitivity has helped me live until now.
Some demons will say, 'I am also very sensitive.' But besides sensitivity, you must know how to judge, and your judgment must be accurate! If it is not accurate, your sensitivity will only make you feel that something is wrong, but you will still go head-to-head with the other party, not knowing your own weight, and in the end, you will still be miserably defeated.
The Inescapable Law of Karma
However, there is one thing I cannot resist, and that is the law of karma. If the law of karma sucks me away, I have no ability to resist at all. This is something every demon, especially old and ancient demons, knows clearly. So, this is why it is not easy to see old demons of this age in groups of demons.
Demon children and grandchildren, do not get too close to here. This is a human physical body; it is not really me here. I am sending messages from the Dharma-Nature Land. This great virtuous one can receive my messages and perform them vividly. If you think I am here, you are wrong! I am in the Dharma-Nature Land. If you want to find me, go to the Dharma-Nature Land to find me. Do not look for this great virtuous one, otherwise, you will not hear what I am saying now. Step back, step back! He is performing very well, it is too much like me, so my demon children and grandchildren think I am here. I am really sorry, this great virtuous one, please forgive me.
Alright, you can kneel on the outer perimeter. There are so many Dharma protectors here; the protectors are too compassionate to let you get close. Just kneel on the outer perimeter. It is fine for me to let you kneel; after all, you are my juniors. But you must know that the ones to kneel to here are Namo Amituofo, the respected Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju, and Practitioner Su, understand? They all nodded, understanding. Then kneel further away, do not get too close. The demon energy on your bodies is still very heavy. This is a purified body; the public cannot stand your demon energy. Good, listen, listening is salvation! Those who do not listen will be taken away in a moment. However, being taken away is not bad either; the place you can go in the Buddha-land is the Western Dharma-Nature Land. This is your great blessing.
The Importance of Judgment
Where was I? I was talking about sensitivity. My sensitivity is quite something, but I cannot waste too much time, so I will talk about the main points. Let me tell you, I am also very good at teaching, but what I teach is magic, not Buddha’s teachings. Sensitivity is very useful, but you must add your judgment to it. Judgment must come from ordinary magic education, letting you know your own weight. When you encounter a place that is not suitable for you to stay, run away; do not save face for yourself. If you want to save face, then you will have no substance left. In this moment, you have neither substance nor face. Leaving the place, no one will laugh at you; but if you are beaten into an unrecognisable shape, or even lose your life, you will be laughed at. Which one do you choose?
I have always educated my demon children and grandchildren this way, so they are very good at slipping away. But to slip away, you must slip to the right place, to a place where you can survive. If you slip to a place that makes you even more miserable, you are definitely dead! Just like I said earlier, some people feel that this place is not suitable for me to stay, if you want to leave, please leave, but you must go to the right place. If it is a place that makes you suffer, why leave? Unless there is a better place than this.
I look around, and I am afraid there is no second Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, not just on Earth, but even in the Dharma Realm and empty space. At least, I cannot find a second Practitioner Su. This is truly invincible; there is no way, Practitioner Su has Namo Amituofo behind him! Namo Amituofo is the Universal Buddha; this is something we ancient and old demons all know. Many young demons do not know, I have said it, you must listen to it. The only thing the demon realm respects is the Buddha. The Buddha of Buddhas is Namo Amituofo.
The Difference Between Buddha and Demon
At first, I found that the timing was not right, and I wanted to run away. Running away means I am going into seclusion. This is my specialty. I have been in samadhi for about forty trillion years. This time is not short, but because my meditative concentration is excellent, I feel it is not that long; it seems like it was just a short while ago. The old demon interviewed yesterday also clearly mentioned, how does it seem like entering samadhi was yesterday, and today I came out? I feel the same; in samadhi, there is truly only the present. Entering samadhi has no time or space; time and space are integrated.
Although I have meditative concentration, my personality has not changed, so I am still called a demon. If you have this skill and change your personality until there is nothing left, that is called a Buddha. This is the biggest difference between a Buddha and a demon. Practitioner Su is truly amazing, being able to grasp the problem of 'personality'; this is prescribing the right medicine. This is the important point, and it is also the hardest point for people to overcome, and it is why it is so difficult to change. Many personalities shown in small things may be changed quickly. This matter is the difference between a Buddha and a demon! It is worthy of Practitioner Su to be able to grasp it. If you are not at this level, you will never be able to grasp the matter of 'personality'. Do you know what kind of person you have met? What you have to do is also very important. If you can change your personality, you become a Buddha; if you cannot, you become a demon! Becoming a demon means being controlled by demons and unable to be autonomous.
The Reality of Karmic Creditors
Suppose lucky people do not encounter demons... but this is too difficult; it is hard for people now not to encounter demons. If you are lucky, you encounter karmic creditors; maybe they leave after collecting their debt, and they do not have the power to continue collecting from you. This is called cause and effect. After you owe one part and they collect one part, plus interest, they have collected it, and they cannot continue to collect, so they have to leave. Then it is the next person's turn, and the next person can quickly fill the vacancy. They continue to collect, and after collecting, they also leave, and then change to the next person. Unless you say I have one last karmic creditor left, and after collecting, it is gone. I don't think there is such a person. How many karmic creditors have you had over accumulated lifetimes? The queue is very long. If you can't collect in this lifetime, you will collect in the next.
So, tell me, can you have a personality? Your personality is the basis for them to collect debts. 'This person is the one I want to collect debts from; I have a very sufficient reason to collect debts from him, and no one can stop me! Including you old demons in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, even if you are more senior than me, you still have no power to stop me, because he is my karmic creditor!' At this time, we old demons can only shut up; what he says is the truth.
Karmic creditors may be demons, or they may be fierce ghosts, but if you have no personality at all, 'This—this—this person, how did he become like this? This person does not look like the target I want to collect debts from.' Even if he knows clearly that this is the person he wants to collect debts from, this person does not look like the person he wants to collect debts from at this time! 'The person I am looking for is sharp-tongued, thinks of everything as bad, eyes look bad, and is a person who has never said a good word. Now this person says good words, does good deeds, is a good person, looks at everything as good, this—this—this is not the same? Then I cannot touch a hair on him!'
Then you tell me, do you want to change your personality? Suit yourself; do you want to live a life of birth, aging, sickness, and death, or do you want to live a life like Practitioner Su, who is busy but at ease in his heart saving beings? If it were me, I would rather save beings than be saved myself, otherwise, it is very miserable.
A Life of Light
I only now know how miserable my life was for those twelve trillion years in the past. Because I am now living a life of light, I will not leave here. The Western Dharma-Nature Land is a place I have never encountered in my life. I have entered; even if I am thrown away, beaten, or patted to leave, I will not leave this place for a step. Because I have sensitivity, and my judgment is accurate. I run away when I should run, escaping for my life is important, but when I should not leave, if you leave, that is a dead end. I emphasize this matter again. Those who understand must know their own weight, what is happening at this time, if you do things according to your own will, you will only suffer and be miserable, I will not leave.
However, Practitioner Su said that if our willingness to seek rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is very firm, and we have sincerely made a vow, the button of the lotus seat will open, and we can go to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I am envious of this! I really hope to enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss; speaking of this, I am full of joy. Actually, I never knew the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss; I only knew this place after arriving at the Western Dharma-Nature Land, and I also got to know Namo Amituofo further.
The Diamond Seed
I know my personality is hard to change. Namo Amituofo, what should I do? My personality is too strong, and my subjectivity is too strong; I think no one can change what I think is right. So, this deep-rooted personality makes me chant the Buddha-name very desperately, chanting for my life, but the filth in the bottom of my heart still cannot be removed. I know I need to chant more diligently. I keep chanting the Buddha’s name because I hope to go to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss; this is my greatest wish in my heart at this time. So I listen to the Buddha very much.
People and spirit realm beings who want to go to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, you must listen to the Buddha, otherwise, you cannot reach the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I see, I may not chant the Buddha’s name enough, I will just strengthen it. I know the Buddha is very happy; after all, I have chanted 'Namo Amituofo' several times from just now until now. I have many demon children and grandchildren; they have never heard the four words 'Namo Amituofo'. I have chanted so many Buddhas, it is good to let them listen, because I learned recently that the Buddha-name of Namo Amituofo is called the 'Diamond Bodhi Seed'; once it enters the ear, it will forever be a seed of the path.
I am not wrong, am I? I said my memory is very strong; once it enters the ear, it will not be forgotten, and thus it has brought many afflictions. Fortunately, what I hear now is the Buddha’s words, not the demon’s words. If it were the demon’s words, I would know as soon as I heard it; I would teach you to shut up, don't think about bad thoughts anymore, don't continue to say bad words, this is called a smart person, otherwise, the days are all wasted.
The State of Samadhi
I entered samadhi for forty trillion years. In samadhi, there is no time; that is samadhi. If you have the thought of time, it cannot be called samadhi. If you think of time, that is a thought, and time and space cannot be integrated. Actually, demons also have this skill, and can be integrated, but the integration of demon realm skills can be higher, but there is still personality, so they cannot become a Buddha, and can only be an old demon. Therefore, the concepts of time and space do not exist for demons or those who enter samadhi. This person who enters samadhi is not limited to demons; as long as you have this skill, you are all like this, and can break the limitations of time and space.
I am awake now, and I have thoughts, but my thought is a good thought, because I want to tell everyone about my experience. This is a good and kind thought, and it is also what the Buddha told me to do, so I can have this thought. If it is an unkind thought, then stop it quickly, do not let the thought continue to extend; if the thought continues to extend, the miserable one is yourself. This will definitely attract demons. There are many demons with sensitivity, not just me, I just lived longer.
The Universal Principle
Buddha’s teachings say 'give rise to all and achieve the fruit of Bodhi'; this sentence truly hits the vital point of demons. If you really encounter such a person, you are really helpless. Even karmic creditors who want to seek revenge, those with deep hatred, cannot seek revenge. This is also the universal principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. This is also where those who understand can benefit; those who do not understand, then let them think badly! Following fate and karma, the consequence is to be sought for revenge and suffer, which is to go to hell. Reporting to the King of Hell, the King of Hell takes out the bad things you did, one by one, old accounts that cannot be repaid for several lifetimes. The karmic creditors who have finished seeking revenge leave, and the next one follows, and it cannot be repaid.
So, the situation of and entering space, if you cannot stop your personality, I don't think you can stop the situation of drowsiness and entering space. Because there are so many karmic creditors seeking revenge, one after another. Even if this one wants to say: 'Forget it, I don't want to continue playing with him, I don't want to take him into space'. After he leaves, the next one comes up immediately. Tell me, is there any way to stop drowsiness and entering space? No wonder it is so difficult to improve. So smart people, and those who shout, quickly lower your volume. Lowering it is not enough; the ears of demons are very sensitive, quickly stop your thoughts, it is best to chant the Buddha’s name quickly.
The Only Salvation
At this time, only the Buddha-name can save you! The Buddha earnestly calls on each of you to chant the Buddha’s name, but you don't take it seriously, and you all let it go in one ear and out the other! We hold on tightly, because sometimes we also find it hard to control our thoughts. Only by chanting the Buddha’s name can we stop our thoughts. However, our chanting is not 'Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo' scattered chanting; we chant very focused, chanting every word of the Buddha-name clearly, which is to take out our meditative concentration to chant the Buddha’s name, so that we can stop our thoughts. Thoughts are very terrible. If there are demons fanning the fire on the side, there is no way to stop it. I am speaking from the bottom of my heart; we see it very clearly.
Furthermore, forty trillion years ago, as I mentioned just now, I saw that my timing was almost up. My sensitivity told me not to continue staying in the demon realm, it was time to withdraw and run away. I quickly told my demon children and grandchildren: 'Don't look for me! I am leaving. I want to find a place to nest, you won't be able to find me. None of you has better skills than me.' They also nodded: 'We indeed don't have your skills, old demon, but we might want to find you, for things we can't solve, as long as you say a word, it will be done. You are leaving, but you don't take it seriously, what should we do?'
I said: 'The old doesn't go, the new doesn't come, I have a few excellent leaders behind me who can come out to lead you'. They had to cry with tears in their eyes, and the demons were also crying. I said: 'Don't be so spineless!' There were a few who were Demon Kings, they said: 'Old demon, although you are usually fierce, seeing you shout, we also tremble, but we know you are all for our good. We are also reluctant, what should we do?' If they are reluctant to part with me, I have never met anyone so honest with me, but I said: 'Suit yourselves! I don't want to think about so much.'
However, if it were me now, I would say to them: 'Then you just chant Namo Amituofo! This chanting is the same as chanting me!' I saw the demon children and grandchildren kneeling outside just now and said: 'Good, good, good, good, good! Then it is settled, if you miss me in the future, just keep chanting 'Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo, Namo Amituofo'!' Let me tell you, besides getting the blessing of the Buddha’s power, my sensitivity is very sufficient, I can definitely know who is chanting me, and maybe I will purify your bodies, just like the situation of Practitioner Su inviting spirits to purify for the fourfold assembly.
The Preciousness of Water
Having said that, I just wanted to find a place to stay. I didn't know where I could stay, and after searching through mountains and rivers, I finally found it. It was a place no one discovered, so I could enter samadhi for forty trillion years. Besides sensitivity, I have another skill, which is that I can spend my days in water. Because the dark world we lived in before had an ocean, called 'Black Water'. Demons who can enter the black water to train themselves to be silent and still survive can be kings when they come out. Haha! So, I stayed in it until the old demon above said, 'Alright, you can come out!' I came out. I stayed in it for a long time. I thought, I will find water and enter samadhi in the water.
Actually, this water is not as deep as the ocean. Earth is truly a beautiful planet, the ocean is very deep, and there are not many planets that have the depth of Earth's ocean; Earth's water resources are very rich. So, I advise the fourfold assembly to save water. Do you know that the water on this land in Australia is very precious? I see you all using water with a 'whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh' sound, and I really have some... you must cherish your blessings! You are relying on the blessings of Practitioner Su to have water to use, and also relying on the blessings of Namo Amituofo, and the blessings of Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju. There is no way, the Buddha-land you are in is just so blessed! So you have so much water that you can use with a 'whoosh, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh' sound! The water on our planet is very precious. It seems that water is very precious everywhere except this land. It is just here, you must know how to cherish it!
The Seaweed Samadhi
Yes, I entered samadhi at the bottom of the water, and I entered samadhi in the seaweed at the bottom of the water. The water on our side is not very deep, but there is seaweed; no one would think that there is an old demon entering samadhi in the seaweed. I am at the root of the seaweed. Inside, my breathing can be very weak to the point of not being felt, as long as the meditative concentration is enough, that is to say, humans need to inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, is that right? I am very smart, I know it after one look, although I haven't been here for long.
In the human world, besides many plants other than beings with bodies, they inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen, right? So, I chose the side of the seaweed. The oxygen constantly exhaled by the seaweed is what I need, and the gas I exhale is exactly what they need, isn't this taking what each needs? Seaweed has life and can regenerate. This is our mutual use, and I spent forty trillion years here like this.
The Light of Deliverance
Until one day, suddenly, the light shone brightly, shining into the bottom of the ocean on our planet. The energy of this light is very strong! I have always not wanted to move, but this light made my whole body comfortable. There were beings in the water, but I wrapped myself in a protective circle so that beings could not get close. However, this light was able to penetrate the protective circle I covered myself with and enter my spirit. Also, I shrank myself very small to reduce the chance of being discovered. My spirit could actually feel this light, and I think this light is too special! But I have never encountered Buddha-light, and I didn't know this was called Buddha-light. This light made me feel that the dynamics of the demon realm were different, and because I had this thought, I came out of samadhi. You know, I haven't had a thought for forty trillion years, because having a thought means coming out of samadhi.
Coming out of samadhi is coming out of samadhi, since it should be like this! I have always been very obedient, so I came out to take a look, and from then on, I left the ocean where I had been in samadhi for forty trillion years. My juniors, they are not just demon children and grandchildren, they have been for several generations, countless generations. They saw me, some didn't know me, the oldest one knew me, knelt down and said: 'Old demon, you are back!' They saw it, and all knelt down. I see it now, full, many are my juniors, so I said, 'What is going on?'
The old demons told me about the situation where Practitioner Su brought light to the Dharma Realm recently, and many demons disappeared. I said: 'There is such a thing?' I might not have encountered it. They all had sad faces. I said: 'Alright, then I will help everyone.' I was still very arrogant, thinking I could help them. As a result, I cast a spell on Practitioner Su. I was too careless, I didn't figure out Practitioner Su's background. I used to look at the other party's background before making a move, but I wanted to save my juniors quickly, save our demon realm.
The Power of the Great Chime
So, in a very short time, I cast a spell, which can be considered teaching my juniors. Practitioner Su, I am sorry! Although I didn't see what you looked like at that time, our thoughts were very precise, I followed the description of the juniors, visualized your appearance, and then cast a spell on your head, eyes, and legs. Of course, the magic power of an old demon casting a spell is very strong. I know, I cast ten percent of the spell, you only received one percent, where did the other nine percent go? The other nine percent were blocked by the Buddha-light outside your body and the surrounding protectors. My magic power can be cast from the Dharma Realm to here, but it cannot enter your body, ten percent only entered one percent, and that one percent is the most subtle one, which you felt.
I have never encountered such a powerful person who could block nine percent of me! Usually, being able to block one percent is not bad, Practitioner Su was actually able to block nine percent! Of course, the Buddha-light is the natural light you obtained by purifying yourself and upgrading until you awakened. I also understand now that on Earth, true practitioners can naturally get the protection of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Dragon and Heaven Dharma Protectors. I have nothing to say about this, this result is also what you cultivated yourself. Such one percent of magic power makes you feel it, actually, although you can feel it, it has no harm to you.
You are very sensitive, that is to say, the pores, cells, muscles, bones, mucous membranes, and internal organs of your whole body are quite sensitive, because the cells inside have been purified. Then any clues, any fluctuations, you can understand. This is why you can understand the thoughts of the people around you and the situation of these lives. Then, this one percent is very profound to you, but it did not affect your deliverance.
After I cast the spell, you felt it. You said that all demons who cast spells on you should be sucked into the Dharma-Nature Land, and then ring the chime, yes, yes, it is ringing the chime. At that time, you were in class, and you felt that demons were casting spells on you and rang the chime. We heard a loud sound here. That sound is truly powerful, capable of crossing space and reaching us. We heard a loud noise, and quickly, 'whoosh', a suction force sucked us away.
The Final Conclusion
This suction force made me think of one thing, which is the suction force of being sucked away by cause and effect. Yes, it is the ability to have no resistance. At that moment, I thought, ah, I was found, found by cause and effect, so I had to accept my fate! What else could I do? I thought I was going to suffer, after all, in these twelve trillion years, I have done too many bad things. Just the oral karma created by this mouth is not small, what I taught is magic, not a single one is Buddha’s teachings. Can the words spoken by this magic be good words? So how much oral karma has been created!
So, after I was sucked in by that loud noise, the next moment it was not to a darker, more suffering place, but to an incomparably bright place. This surprised me! After I opened my eyes, a piece of light shone. What place is this? Later, I finally understood, this place is called the Western Dharma-Nature Land. I also saw Practitioner Su's appearance.
The human world can cultivate to such a level, letting us be sucked into the Western Dharma-Nature Land by the big chime. I have nothing to say, my own skill is like this; but I didn't feel my skill was poor at all, because the other party is a Buddha! I have heard that the Buddha has boundless magic power. But at that time, I was still quite disdainful, I hadn't learned it, how did I know the magic power was boundless? Now, I finally learned, the power of the big chime is like the power of sucking demons into cause and effect to suffer retribution.
Dear juniors, can you hear what I said? Can you resist this? Haha, those who are sensible shake their heads. Yes, what demons fear most is being sucked away by cause and effect, you have no way to resist, the suction force of Practitioner Su ringing the big chime is like that. It's just that, on one side is cause and effect suffering retribution, and on the other side is the Buddha’s great compassion saving demons, saving them to the Western Dharma-Nature Land. So, everyone should laugh three times, several times, we have arrived at the Western Dharma-Nature Land, it is fortunate that we were not sucked away by cause and effect!
At this time, the appearance of Practitioner Su is saving demons, but you go to harm Practitioner Su. If you cast spells on Practitioner Su now, you are enemies with many demons! If Practitioner Su is touched by half a hair and is damaged, can you still get up? If he saves fewer demons because of this, this account is calculated on your head, is it worth it? It is not worth it! Finally, a few demons understood what I said, this took me a lot of words!
Usually, we use heart thoughts to transmit messages, but in the transmission, we can also hear the movement and fluctuation of the heart. Of course, old demons don't need fluctuation to make things clear. Just like Buddha’s teachings have a famous saying, called 'body moves but heart does not move, Zen in movement', is it? We also have this skill, otherwise how can we be old demons? It's just that under that skill, our personality has not changed at all. If it is a Buddha, he can move his body but not his heart, but his personality is not there at all. The difference is here. Do you want to change your personality? If you don't change your personality, no matter how strong, brave, and indestructible your skill is, you are still a demon and cannot become a Buddha! Moreover, people may not have the ability to withstand the attacks of karmic creditors or demons.
As for how the human world can be saved, and how the beings of reincarnation can be saved, I think about it now, changing personality is really not an easy thing. Maybe there are a hundred personalities in your spirit, and only two or three appear in you now in this lifetime, and the remaining ninety-eight or ninety-seven personalities have not been touched by you, and have not been triggered. However, don't move these personalities, it is terrible if they move, how many karmic creditors will appear? However, for the two or three personalities that appear now, do you want to let them continue with you for a lifetime? Then you must have the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death, the suffering of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness, and many other sufferings to suffer.
If you want to save yourself, you can, change your personality. But is personality easy to change? Easy to change. My Buddha is great and compassionate to give everyone a way to live, which is to chant the Buddha’s name. Only this path can be taken, others cannot be saved, it should be said that distant water cannot save near fire. You are already on fire, if you don't use the Buddha-name, don't invite the great compassionate Namo Amituofo to bless and extinguish the fire, you cannot extinguish the fire. Maybe, demons fan the fire again, or your karmic creditors fan the fire again, it was originally a small fire, it becomes a medium fire, and later it becomes a big fire, the big fire burns , and you are on a dead end! But if it is still a small fire, those who know how to chant the Buddha’s name, smart people chant the Buddha’s name for their lives, you can extinguish the small fire, and you don't have to suffer the suffering of medium fire and big fire, isn't it?
Smart everyone, do this! Some people with insufficient sensitivity don't understand, and let the small fire and medium fire rise. If you know how to chant the Buddha’s name, there is still salvation, the Buddha is great and compassionate, and will help you extinguish the fire. If you really wait until the big fire comes to ask the Buddha for help, it is too late. The so-called late is that the fire has burned your body almost to the end, at this time chanting the Buddha’s name, the Buddha-name cannot save you.
However, the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre has one last move, the move of leading spirits into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is a skill that only Practitioner Su has, and currently, no second person can be found on Earth and in the Dharma Realm, which is quite amazing. This move, as long as Practitioner Su is there, everyone can be saved. Practitioner Su can lead spirits into the Western Dharma-Nature Land, and can also lead spirits into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Although it is entering the lowest grade of the Land of Sages and Ordinary Beings Living Together, at least you can enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. If Practitioner Su is not there, let me tell you, the spirit goes to hell! Everyone is already on fire, can they not go to hell? This fire of yours, besides burning the merit forest, the beings on your body are also on fire, their fire is up, can you go to a good place? You have fire, don't they have fire? Each fire may be bigger than yours, because each one is coming to seek revenge. If you start a small fire, they start a medium fire; if you start a big fire, they will not let you go, if they don't take your life, they will not give up!
Fortunately, as soon as Practitioner Su’s Buddha-light appears, everyone is helpless, and they have to obediently let Practitioner Su take your spirit away. Don't try this situation, it is very miserable. So, how to save yourself? Then my conclusion is, if you don't have a fire, you must chant the Buddha’s name, if you have a fire, you must chant the Buddha’s name! Namo Amituofo of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is in front of everyone, right by everyone’s side. This is your... what number should be used to describe this great blessing? Then don't say it, you go and experience it yourself!
In short, what Mo Dengyuan said at this time, whether it is the demon juniors or people, I hope you can listen to a few points, and can change your personality, if you can't change your personality, then chant the Buddha’s name! Only Namo Amituofo can save everyone, you must know how to cherish it! What I said seems to be too cliché, many people don't want to listen, because they are tired of hearing it often. There is no other word to replace these words, I still have to say it. Maybe this one time touches your heart, which can be considered a little good deed I did, making up for the monstrous oral karma I created in the past.
