Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm
Where in this human world can one find a truly ? It is here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. We are deeply grateful for this sacred, pure environment. It is a place where we can nourish our and wisdom-life. It allows us to save beings, guiding them toward rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, so they may escape the cycle of being reincarnated and be rescued in this very lifetime.
Today, Namo Amituofo is residing here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. While the Universal Buddha is omnipresent, filling every corner of the Realm, the Buddha has chosen to remain here in this temple. This is why we say Namo Amituofo is residing here at Hsiang Kuang. Practitioner Su has dedicated his entire body and mind to the world and to all beings. Acting on behalf of Namo Amituofo, he walks through the human world and the Dharma Realm. Because of this, Hsiang Kuang is the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is here at Hsiang Kuang.
Contentment is a state of being filled with and gratitude. From this state, , Wisdom (Prajna), and a vast mind-capacity naturally arise. When one is truly content, there is no room for the following negative states:
Children must be taught from a young age to be content and grateful. Their hearts should look inward for peace, rather than constantly seeking satisfaction from the external world. If children live in an environment where everything is always easy and goes according to their wishes, they will find it difficult to cherish what they have, and even harder to understand the meaning of gratitude.
As children of Hsiang Kuang, you must learn to chant Buddha's name and be grateful to the Buddha from an early age. You must understand that every little bit and piece you receive is not easily obtained. It is only because of the Buddha's teachings, the protection of Practitioner Su, and the sincere dedication of the fourfold assembly of disciples that we have what we have today. We should be grateful for the following:
By understanding these truths, we can walk the Buddha's path correctly, attain the state of an awakened being, save ourselves and others, leave suffering behind, and achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. We are truly fortunate to practise in an environment where we have no worries for our daily needs.
I hope that all of you will practise with great diligence. Please continue to show respect for all Buddhas, chant Buddha's name, perform prostrations, and recite the Sutras. May you soon attain the state of an awakened being, accomplish the Buddha's work, focus exclusively on the Pure Land path, and propagate the teachings of Namo Amituofo. Let your hearts be filled with contentment and gratitude. Recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
