The Preciousness of Our Connection

The affinity of the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre is connected by a single, unbreakable thread. It is this thread that draws us together, regardless of whether we come from the north, south, east, or west. We have gathered here in this sacred Buddha-land, a place where the Dharma affinity manifests with rare clarity. Such an opportunity is not easily encountered in the vastness of time and space.

The fourfold assembly has, in past lives, served the Three Jewels with devotion. Because of this deep-rooted connection, we have been brought together at this very moment. You must cherish this affinity and strive to remain in sync with the teachings. This centre is a fertile ground where you can rediscover your true self.

The Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way reside in this place. We must ask ourselves: When will we finally wake up from the dream of this world? When will we stop wandering in the cycle of rebirth and finally see the truth?

The cycle of rebirth in this Saha world is ultimately empty; there is nothing left to hold onto. Do not mistake the illusions of this world for reality, for doing so only brings suffering to your body and spirit. By understanding the nature of these illusions, you can begin to break free from the cycle of suffering.

The Reality of

The Hsiang Kuang Dharma affinity acts as a thread that guides us, helping us to unravel the truth and shatter the illusions that cloud our vision. We often cling to the concept of an individual self, but we must ask: If there is originally no-self, where does this 'I' come from?

Our sense of self is born from illusory bubbles, fleeting and insubstantial. When we encounter the Truth, these illusions vanish. Once the bubble of the ego bursts, we look for , but find it nowhere. In that moment of emptiness, we realise that everything is truly empty. Yet, within this emptiness lies the infinite. Only when you let go of the attachment to a self can you truly see your true self. This is the original, authentic truth of our existence.
