Bearing the Suffering of All Beings at All Times, Thus Inviting the Presence of Amitabha Buddha
Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm
is not merely a fleeting emotion; it is the profound, inner radiance that flows naturally from the heart of a practitioner who has truly heard and internalised the Dharma. When this joy arises, it is so genuine and overwhelming that a smile naturally graces one's face, often becoming impossible to contain. It is the outward manifestation of an inner transformation that occurs when the spirit is nourished by the wisdom of the Buddha.
This state of being is experienced in several profound ways:
The Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre is a place of unique and miraculous beauty. When you witness the sunrise in the morning or the sunset in the evening, you are seeing something truly extraordinary. The Buddha radiates a magnificent, pure golden light that illuminates the entire horizon. The sky transforms into a breathtaking gradient of blue, purple, orange, and indigo, all bathed in a brilliant golden glow. This celestial display is a source of constant wonder and fills all who behold it with profound Dharma joy. Such miraculous phenomena are unique to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, serving as a testament to the presence of the Buddha.
We have also heard the accounts of Practitioner Su during the Thrice Yearning Ceremony, where he guided prison guards and deceased spirits into the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Witnessing their transformation—from souls trapped in suffering to beings filled with gratitude—is a powerful experience. It is a true manifestation of Dharma joy. The opportunity for these spirits to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is a magnificent Dharma affinity that is difficult to encounter in millions of years. That they are able to fulfil their vows and enter the Western Land is entirely due to the boundless compassion of the Buddha, who has opened the gate of convenience to save all beings. It is a reminder that every single sentient being possesses the potential to eventually become a Buddha.
The Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is filled with inconceivable people, events, and scenery at every turn. It is a place that inspires Dharma joy at every moment. To reside in such a Buddha-land is to have a heart filled with infinite gratitude. May we all continue to practise with sincerity, cherishing the precious opportunity to walk the path of the Buddha.
