On the twentieth of July, 2017, during the morning walking meditation, Practitioner Su observed a significant phenomenon. She saw that the of the fourfold assembly were present, following closely behind the practitioners as they walked. Deeply concerned for the well-being of all, she humbly asked Namo Amituofo for guidance on how to resolve these karmic debts and bring peace to all beings. Namo Amituofo, in His infinite , provided the following teachings.

The Ocean of and the Stillness of the Heart

Karma is as vast and immovable as Mount Sumeru, and the depths of our past actions are like a bottomless ocean. On the surface of this ocean, the waves of our past deeds rise and fall, sometimes surging with wild, turbulent energy. Yet, whether this ocean remains stormy or becomes perfectly calm depends entirely upon your heart. In this very moment, there is one fundamental principle that governs a myriad of strategies. When you truly understand this principle, all paths become clear and accessible. However, if you do not grasp it, every path will seem obstructed, and you will find yourself blocked at every turn. You must allow your heart to see the truth clearly.

Compassion as the Compass for the Soul

The truth of our oneness manifests through countless actions in our daily lives. Let compassion be your foundation and wisdom be your constant embrace. Your eyes are meant to see the truth, your face is meant to reflect the light of the Buddha, your speech is meant to respond with kindness, and your body is meant to be directed toward the right path. The karmic creditors are, in essence, a manifestation of your own past actions. If you choose to resolve these debts, they will be resolved; if you choose to hold onto them through attachment, they will remain. The choice to release or to hold on depends entirely on your heart. Your heart acts as the navigator of your life, steering your vessel toward its ultimate destination.

Resolving the Past through Repentance

There are many journeys one may take, and these journeys may vary in length. Some paths are fast, while others are slow, but all will eventually reach the destination if the heart is set correctly. Whether your journey is smooth or filled with obstacles depends entirely on how you guide your heart. You must consider the beings who accompany you. Whether they walk alongside you or follow behind, the goal remains the same, so why should there be any conflict? When you see your karmic creditors by your side, you should treat them as your own kin. If you view them as separate or as enemies, you create distance. If you view them with the same love you have for your own family, you can walk together toward the of Ultimate Bliss. The ability to resolve these conflicts lies entirely within your heart.

Cultivating the Heart-Field for Rebirth

The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is not far away; it is right here, and you can step into it the moment you turn your heart toward it. By repenting for your past mistakes and transforming your heart, you arrive at the Pure Land. Do not let your mind wander or drift, for even a moment of distraction can set you far from the Western Pure Land. The void of the universe is like a canvas, and your thoughts are the colours painted upon it. Whatever you choose to paint, it is but a fleeting moment. The beings who follow you also know this, and you should cherish them as you cherish yourself. This is the true path to the Western Pure Land. To resolve these debts, you must practise sincere repentance and change your ways. This is not a task for a single moment; it must be your constant state of being. You must cultivate your heart-field with the water of the . When the causes are true and the fruits are full, all beings will rejoice. This is how you naturally resolve all conflicts and move forward. Even when you encounter setbacks, see them as the resources and nourishment needed for your growth. Save all those with whom you have a karmic connection, and walk together toward the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
