During the solemnity of the , we gather to reflect upon the nature of our existence. We must learn to observe the Causal Conditions that connect us to all beings. If you allow yourself to hold onto wandering thoughts, you will find yourself burdened by them at every moment. These thoughts do not simply vanish; they linger, creating a weight upon your heart that prevents true peace. You must learn to stop these thoughts immediately. Do not let external influences or the opinions of others dictate the state of your mind. When you allow external circumstances to control your inner world, you lose your connection to the truth.
Every thought you hold takes on a form, and from these forms, obstacles to your spiritual progress arise. Why do you dwell on the past or obsess over the conflicts of the present? These are merely of right and wrong, which serve only to cloud your original nature. If you can let go of these judgments now, you will find that true goodness resides in the present moment. When your heart is pure and free from attachment, your body will also be at peace. Do not be swayed by the actions of others; instead, remain free and at ease in your practice. Do not fall into the trap of thinking only of your own goodness while judging others as wrong. True means that you should save those who need to be saved, without letting external distractions interfere with your vow to help all beings.
To possess a heart of repenting is a sign of great progress. It is the foundation upon which we build our sincerity. When you and all those around you can sincerely chant Buddha's name, you create a collective harmony that resonates throughout the universe. In this state of unified devotion, you will surely see the Buddha-light. When you enter into this radiant light, you are protected and guided toward your ultimate destination. To be reborn directly in the of Ultimate Bliss is truly the most wonderful achievement one can attain.
