Dynamic and Purposeful

Recorded and transcribed by Namo Amituofo’s disciple, Venerable HaiZe.nn7 August 2026nn#### Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:nnPractice is the process of returning to one's inherent true self through purification.nWithin the true self, there is purity and non-action; it is unmoving yet possesses meditative concentration, and can give rise to all phenomena.nAlthough it is empty and void, it actually encompasses all things.nnRegarding the teaching of beings,nthere is no fixed Dharma, because the minds of beings are impermanent and their hearts and actions are ever-changing.nTo meet the needs of teaching, one must adapt to these changes,nbut what remains unchanged is the heart of compassion to save beings.nHowever, methods can be dynamic and purposeful, all for the sake of gathering and receiving the hearts of beings, enabling them to enter the Buddha's wisdom.nThis is the "skillful means" of "first enticing them with desires, then leading them into the Buddha's wisdom."nnThe purpose of practice is to remove defilements and attain purity. Those who save beings can observe the potential of beings,nand through dynamic and purposeful methods, deliver sentient beings and help them transform their character.nThe character of beings is ever-changing; if one uses rigid and unchanging teaching methods,nthere is difficulty in delivering or guiding them.nnBuddha or Bodhisattvas, patriarchs and venerable masters, and those who have realised their true nature can see the suffering of beings,nand understand the reality of oneness. When teaching beings,ntheir lectures and teachings through conduct and words are carried out with a heart of non-action, while being dynamic and purposeful,nwithout violating the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.nTherefore, they receive Buddha's blessings and the protection of the Dragon and Heaven Dharma Protectors, which helps them achieve success in practice.nIf there are violations or actions that break the Precepts, it will cause the Dragon and Heaven Dharma Protectors to distance themselves,nleading to interference from beings and demon crowds in one's practice, causing regression in practice or deviation from the True Teachings,nresulting in no success in practice.nnUsing a heart of non-action to carry out dynamic and purposeful teaching is the skill of the teacher,nhelping practitioners enter a state of no-self and selflessness, so that they may achieve success.nnNamo Amituofonn[[BLOCK_0]]
